This hotel is on my list for Seattle stays, as it's well suited for extended business travels with full kitchen space and utilities to cook and prepare meals to your own liking. Each room is spacious, equipped with full kitchen and a large business desk with separate living room. I prefer staying in one bedroom suites because having a bedroom door with separate kitchen and living room space when on business travels makes it easier to wind down with comfy home away from home vibes. Moreover, it's easy to park here, in an underground parkade with in and out privileges and reasonably priced at $25/day. They have a small business center on site and I appreciate the professionalism of their manager and willingness to help with admin tasks like photocopying. Pool is small and prob will not suffice for avid lap swimmers, and their gym is likely the better choice as an exercise option. This hotel's highlight that is food related could be their "social" happy hour reception from Mon to Wed, which offers hotel guests unlimited free wine, draft beer, teas, coffee etc and it is a refreshing afternoon break. Their breakfast serves well as a decent meal option with protein such as eggs and bacon plus plenty of carb choices, including bagels, cute waffle machines and fresh fruits. One of the con of this place - its entertainment options are dated with no Netflix or Disney or Apple TV subscription. This does not affect me because I don't watch TV and I have my own iPad for Netflix, Disney and Apple TV. Also if you prefer water views and walking distance to Pike Place Market when visiting Seattle then you may opt to stay in a different area. The Fremont location is good for attractions such as the Seattle Zoo and it's not far to drive to Pike Place Market or the University District. Overall, I enjoy staying here when its location works well for my itinerary and it serves my work travel needs. Bonus points for its underground parkade (it's much appreciated & helpful on rainy days) and I would recommended this hotel for folks that prefers spacious suites plus the convenience of full kitchen facilities. read more

Biggest crap pile in Seattle!!! Staff is garbage and rude! Expensive and a waste of money! Breakfast sucked, biggest mistake of my life!

We stayed here for a 39th wedding anniversary. I'm kind of torn on how to rate this place. For the most part it was great. They served a nice breakfast and the room was laid out perfectly for ADA requirements. The drawback was that the walls were thin and we listen to traffic right outside the window all day and night. And the room smelled like an old non-updated casino. Kind of a musty stank. The bathroom was laid out perfect for accessibility. The shower didn't have a lot of pressure, but it did the trick. The living room had a comfortable couch and foot stand. The kitchen was great. It had a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and a stove top. The cupboards were stocked with all the necessary items you would need. So if you're looking in the Seattle. This would be an OK place to stay. read more

The location here was fantastic. This is the second time we have stayed here. We walk to Fremont, Wallingford, Ballard... all easy walks. And the bus to downtown is simple too... just take the 5 or 28. Runs frequently. The hotel is a bit dated but large rooms, super nice staff, and beer/wine in the afternoons if you are so inclined. Our daughter lives nearby so we could walk to her place too. The Fremont troll is a short walk!! They also have a workout room and small pool and hot tub. We did not use these on this trip, but we did use the free washers and dryers! That was a super key feature especially for us since we travel for weeks at a time. read more

I stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions - once for 3 nights and a second time for 14 nights. My husband, pets and I LOVED our time here. First, the front desk staff is so helpful and accommodating - they were able to receive packages on our behalf before we checked in, and helped with any questions we had during our stay. The breakfast is a step above other free chain hotel breakfasts - they have extra touches like fresh baked scones, salsa cups, a fountain soda machine, multiple yogurt varieties and Nutella packets. Of course the egg/meat/potatoes get redundant after a few days, but compared to other hotels in this price range this breakfast was way above average. The hotel also offers a happy hour Monday-Wednesday which includes unlimited free wine (nice wines, too!), draft beer, fresh veggies, cookies, and rotating hot appetizers. This also far exceeded our expectations and we really enjoyed it! The rooftop deck is the highlight for this hotel- it has sweeping views over Lake Union and downtown Seattle. We found ourselves hanging out up there for hours every night. This is now the hotel we are recommending to family and friends when they come to visit Seattle. It's that good! We arrived on Saturday and Thanks God we had an American friends with us cause who's my BF cause both a friend of mine and myself our Canadian cards weren't working what so ever to make a payment to our reservation . Breakfast buffet that was included was really good so that kinda saved it but still . Also be ready to pay by cards cause they don't accept cash . But at least and very thankful for that staff at the front desk were Very but very patient with us . Swimming pool was also really great not really deep but still good for a little swim with their Jacuzzi that was good too . But also bit on the expensive side and not very well organized on their website saying 50$ deposit which 50$ a night deposit. In general experience was ok but obviously seen worst but also seen way better . read more

It looks nice and new at first, but that bubble will quickly burst after check-in. This is nothing but a new turd. For my check-in, there were only two rooms available. I was first blessed with a room that has a groaning refrigerator. Okay, moving on... My next--and the only remaining room has a quiet fridge and the worst bathroom layout I've ever seen in any hotel, ever. Somehow they squeezed 3 doors into the bathroom and built them to all open across the same exact footprint. The (new! yes, this is a new property!) sofa squeaks when you sit on it. The TV in both rooms is oddly placed at a 90° angle to the bed, and far, far away from the sofa. This is why I don't book IHG hotels. Even the brand new ones are garbage. Your mileage may vary--I wish anyone staying here the best of luck!! read more

I came back to my room and the door had been propped open using the deadbolt. The woman at the front desk, Lina, screamed at me and refused to help me. Would not change rooms. Would not even check the room for safety purposes. I would never come back to this hotel. It is truly unsafe and the staff could not have been ruder to me. read more

We stayed here one night with our two teenage kids and our Labrador. The property has some great amenities such as a large outdoor patio with tables and a gas fireplace, a rooftop terrace with yet more tables and chairs, gas grills, and another gas fireplace. The room we had was spacious and generally comfortable EXCEPT the AC in the king bedroom didn't work. Our room was hot most of the night while the other bedroom and living areas were cool. We ended up opening the window even though temperatures dropped below freezing that night. The complimentary breakfast spread was pretty good, better than some other complimentary breakfasts I've had (about which I've had nothing complimentary to say). I think our only complaints are about the too-warm bedroom and the $75 pet fee! That's pretty steep for one night. Our dog is house-trained, hardly sheds, and is well-behaved. I cannot imagine he caused the need for any more cleaning than the humans staying in the room. My guess is housekeeping didn't even know there was a dog in the room! read more

My family and I live in Washington, but we live further South, so we booked a hotel stay near the Woodland Park Zoo, as that's where we wanted to go the next day. So we packed up and drove to the Hotel to stay for the evening. We had a wonderful drive there on a Friday evening, and as soon as I walked in, the lobby was spacious and welcoming. They have a Pantry next to the customer service desk where there are numerous different beverages, food, candy, and alcohol for purchase right there at the desk. The rooms were a designed very well, spacious, had a refrigerator and range, microwave and a dinette set supplied! There were 3 LG TV's inside the room, 2 in the bedrooms and one in the living area. Also a study incase business is needed to be conducted! The staff was very helpful and cordial with handling all needs for additional towels, and meeting all needs by my family! There's a swimming pool inside which I feel could use some attention on a regular basis, given the traffic in and out of it. My oldest son got sick because of it, due to the scent of the chlorine being very strong when we walked in. That's the only reason it didn't receive 5 stars. The rooftop view is SPECTACULAR at night with the city being lit up, and on a clear night, the stars shine BRIGHTLY! They have seating up there, 2 BBQ Grills, and a Fireplace going! I'd suggest adding a couple telescopes for stargazing and that would enhance the rooftop ten fold! I recommend Staybridge Suites to any and everyone! I stayed at Stay Bridge Suites in Seattle Fremont on June 8th. I was charged $25 to park my vehicle in a "secured" underground parking garage that I was told only hotel guests could access with a room key. That night, my vehicle was broken into, lock drilled out, smashed a window, and several contents stolen from the vehicle. A police report was filed and I requested that the hotel Manager, Iris Van Giessen, send the security camera footage to the police officer by providing an email address. Since then, I have called and left messages 3 times to follow up on the video footage with no reply. I am an IGHG member and both my husband and I have been for over 20 years. I am extremely disappointed to hear that the hotel would not compensate me in any way claiming it would mean "admitting liability". If this is how IH G members are treated, I will find a new hotel membership for my families future travels. Very disappointing. read more

Thank you to the staff especially Blanca and Toni who made my stay here welcoming and comfortable. Everyone I came across was extremely friendly including the maintenance, shuttle driver (Salim), front desk, cleaning ladies, etc. The hotel is clean, well-kept, has great amenities, extremely COMFORTABLE beddings/pillows & a great breakfast buffet each morning. ~The location was convenient for my needs and although I did not get to partake in the M-W Happy Hours, I do hear great things. I checked in Wednesday night and checked out Sunday morning. ~The morning breakfast buffets were delicious & provided a great variety. I enjoyed the pastries, waffles, warm eggs and various breakfast meats throughout my 4 meals from my stay. Breakfast is M-F 6:30-9:30am and weekends 7:30-10:30am (if I remember correctly). I didn't get to experience the afternoon Happy Hours M-W, but maybe if I return in the future. ~Their parking garage seems secure and well lit. I had no trouble finding parking and usually parked on the lower P2 level since most cars parked on the first level. During my stay, the exit gate was broken & didn't close, but the location of Staybridge is far enough that there aren't homeless people rummaging through the parking lots. ~I stayed in a 1 bedroom corner Suite with a extremely comfortable Queen size bed. The kitchen came equipped with complimentary coffee, tea and popcorn. There was a fridge, freezer, microwave, glass stove top, silverware, dishes and cups/glasses. The bathroom came with a hairdryer, but not one of those close up mirrors that girls love for applying makeup! LOL. The shower pressure was okay, but could be stronger. **Everything went smoothly throughout my stay until the very end at check-out. I have been in contact with upper management and everything has been resolved. I want to thank the manager I spoke with Blanca, she is kind, understanding and exemplifies great customer service. I do need to mention here that Jeremy was extremely rude, gave me attitude and showed that he was NOT willing to help. He had a standoff-ish attitude and needs to be trained if he wants to remain in the customer service/hospitality industry. It is not right to tell customers a flat-out no with a "as a matter-of-fact" attitude. In addition, he said that a manager would be calling me the next day to discuss, however I was not contacted and decided to reach out myself 2 days later. Long story short, I was indeed comped for my troubles and the original agreement that took place. All in all, this would have been the prefect experience at Staybridge, if it wasn't for the extremely rude service I received upon check-out. read more

DO NOT EVEN THINK OF STAYING HERE! I brought my family here yesterday and while clean on the surface there are deterring factors that the hotel isn't telling you. They are housing HOMELESS people and are subsidized by government. They are literally everywhere; elevators, hallways, and in particular the rooftop viewing deck. They are smoking on that deck and careless about the smoke and their buts are everywhere. It is GROSS. The staff isn't doing anything about it. They are also not wearing any masks. It gets worse. The downstairs conference room is being used as a COVID testing center! I witnessed dozens of people getting temp checks and background checks. If you stay here you are increasing your exposure to COVID-19 as my 4 person family was last night. read more

Our stay has been fantastic! With Covid scare around us, California fires on top of life events I'm so thankful that this location popped up when in search of a place to lay our heads. I was meet with many road blocks when calling other suites but from the very first time Arianna answered the phone we have felt welcome and home in our home away from home. I hope someone gives her employee of the month/promotion for the way she has shown excellent hospitality. The large suite, indoor pool, gym and location where perfect as well. The rooms are nice enough and the breakfast is very good, but I would recommend this hotel only if you need to stay in Fremont. My room overlooked what is essentially a highway (which gets loud when it rains, which is always) that bifurcates the neighborhood. Aside from a pool and hot tub that close before the kids go to bed (do not expect relaxation), amenities are few: no bar, no restaurant, several blocks away from anything. At this price, I was disappointed in the overwhelming nothingness. read more

This is one of the better hotel options we've experienced as a large family. We stayed in the two bedroom suite, which has TWO BATHROOMS they don't even mention when you're booking it. I cannot fathom why that isn't a headliner describing the room. The kitchen was superior. Full sized fridge. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. There was excellent storage space. The living room would be greatly improved by more comfortable seating. The couch was a sleeper, but wasn't comfortable to sit on. I had to get bedroom pillows to support my back for sitting on the couch and the chair. There really was only enough seating for four (and I think that was with moving the desk chair from the front hall into the living room. Since the room can sleep eight, I mention this. We felt safe here. The rooms were clean. Our biggest complaint, and the reason it's not five stars, is that our vehicle does not fit in their parking garage. The road outside is fast and only goes in one direction, and we had to find parking on the nearby streets, which made us nervous. Nothing actually happened to our vehicle, but that was a big inconvenience and a source of some anxiety. The man who seemed to work 24 hours a day at the front desk was great in spite of his long working hours. I do hope the next time we stay that their breakfast options are back to what they used to do (by the looks of the pictures). When we stayed, they were very limited. read more

I booked a weekend trip here with my boyfriend. We were not notified there was a charge for parking when we checked in. I even asked about all applicable charges when I was given my room key. When I returned from my trip, I saw a charge come through on my card and called the hotel to inquire what it's for. Brianna, the hotel manager, informed me I was charged for parking, and refused to acknowledge that they should have informed us of the price before we parked. She even hung up on my boyfriend when he tried to get more details from her. Brianna provided very unacceptable customer service and we will refrain from staying at this hotel in the future. Our plans changed and I went down to the front desk to find out what happens if I check out a day early, the front desk told me no problem as long as we check out by noon and we will not be charged. Things changed in about 30 min. when I notified the front desk we would be leaving a day early. Now they are going to charge us. The room is small and there is a lot of noise from a busy street in front of the hotel. I told the desk agent what I was going to write on Yelp and he was ok with it. Parking is extra. It's self parking and you need your room key to get into the garage. No one was at the front desk when I came to check in. I know people exaggerate when they say they were waiting soooo long but I waited for a while and called the hotel and said, "Hi, I'm at the front desk trying to check in." A guy came out and apologized. Checked me in. Is this Washington thing? Because again, I was checked in with no shpeal. I didn't even know where to park. I asked about it and the front desk person said the parking garage. What parking garage? I didn't even notice it. If you continue through the driveway, there's a place to put your key card against on the right side of the driveway and it lifts the gate to the parking garage. This is information I would like to know at check in. I don't know. I've never been here before. The hotel also has complimentary breakfast. They offer a "social hour" on certain days.. WiFi. They have a gym, laundry room, a swimming pool and a rooftop patio. On the roof, there's also a designated fake grass area for your pets to potty. We saw this first and thought, is this the rooftop patio? Then there was a sign pointing us to another area for the patio. Ahh! Complimentary shuttle is available during certain hours every 90 minutes. You let the front desk know that you want on. We got on the complimentary shuttle and the driver said he only goes to one place and it was a place we were not going.. That would have been nice to know as well.. Instead of calling it a complimentary shuttle, they could specify that description and state it's a complimentary shuttle to this one place only. And I think it's only to this place and not back from that place.. Weird, right? The room (339) was compact. You need your room key to turn on the power in the room. Look for it on the wall. I stayed here prior to an interview and was pleased in every way. The hotel seemed to go above and beyond to provide quality service. Checking in was very easy and the lady that helped me was a complete joy. She full of positivity happy spirits and it lifted me up as well. After discussing that I was there for an interview she let me know that I could get a 2pm late checkout but to make sure to call in the morning to confirm. She also notified me about the rooftop views from the fourth floor which were spectacular and I definitely would have missed them otherwise. The room itself was very nice and have everything you would need for a one night stay to an extended one. The kitchen was clean, food sized, and fully stocked with cooking supplies, dishes, and cleaning supplies. They also give you a free bag of popcorn, which I thought was a nice touch. The provided desk was helpful for me preparing for my interview. The king sized bed was comfortable and I slept like a rock. The heating worked well and the drapes blocked out the sun effectively. All the boxes were checked! I also was unaware that there is a free hot breakfast in the morning. It was probably one of the better ones I have had at a hotel. The standouts to me were the corned beef hash, tomatoes and cottage cheese, and high quality fresh fruit. They also provide dinners in certain weekdays which I had never seen before either. I did not use the service but they do have a free shuttle that will take you to various parts of the city. If staying longer I definitely would have tried it out. I cannot think of a single thing I would improve at this hotel. Five star stay for sure! read more

Had a very nice experience at this hotel. Staff was super accommodating, great customer service and clean! They have different amenities such as a laundry room (free-just provide your own detergent), a gym and an inside pool! They offer continental breakfast for hotel guests. They also have a little store next to the front desk with microwaveable food, toiletries etc for purchase. They provide parking but just be mindful of larger vehicles that don't fit in their garage lol. We had no problem finding street parking. 15 minute drive to the SpaceNeedle and to Seattle U. If you book online and prepay through IHG you get a better deal and earn points for rewards! read more

I have always had good experiences at Staybridge, no matter the location. This is no exception. I arrived a bit early after driving across the entire state of Washington and I was tired. When I arrived, my room was ready, and I was able to check in right away. Since it was a Monday, I took advantage of the social in the lobby, which had complimentary beer and wine, a delightful salad bar with fresh ingredients and buffalo pork quesadillas. I want with a local woman who chatted with me about things to do around town and got some great insider tips. When I crawled into bed, the room was quiet, sheets were crisp and clean and I was pleased overall. The bonus of having a kitchenette in my suite is great since I'll be here for 2 weeks. I can make my lunches to take with me to training, and reheat leftovers from the local restaurants. read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in October 2018. If you enjoy paper thin walls, low shower pressure, being trapped on a one way main road, the inability to exit the parking garage safely, and being forced to drive up and down the Aurora bridge because there are no U-Turns in front of the hotel - stay here. Did I mention the oatmeal is instant oatmeal, and the breakfast meat had spilled over onto the fruit? The staff is amazing, and the room was clean. I was allowed to check in 2 hours early, and my room was perfectly clean - and that is where the positives end. The first night there was screaming up and down the hallway outside my suite (1st floor to the right of front desk, and past the Housekeeping/Staff closet/area. I requested a quiet room in my online reservation for medical purposes, and the first 2 nights, the excessive noise started around 9PM and lasted until after 3AM. Night 1 legitimately sounded like someone was being assaulted in the lobby and then running up & down the hallway looking for emergency services. The third night, there were at least two people outside my CLOSED window, out of the gated parking area, but still on Staybridge property, ALL NIGHT. I was terrified they were going to attempt to enter my suite through the window. Thankfully, I wasn't going to sleep my last night anyways, because guests checked into the room directly above me and literally pounded on their floor (AKA my ceiling) from about 11PM - 1AM. The underground parking is convenient - if you're able to navigate the 1 way alley with the apartment complex next door, and finesse your unusually narrow vehicle into the parking spaces too small for a compact 4-door sedan. Seriously ... its a ONE WAY ALLEY. read more
