I remember wanting to take mom to a nice steak dinner while in London. This place was mid tier. The food quality reminded me of an Outback Steakhouse or Longhorn. Not the greatest quality, but it was a steak. The wait time was awful. The server didn't really seem to care and didn't give quality service. The Burger sucked! It was a soggy and sloppy mess! When we asked the waitress about it, she acted like we were asking for gold and seemed like we were bothering her. The side salad and the onion rings were all delicious though! The steak was good quality too. We were charged for everything, even water! I know that's a European thing, but it still sucks to be charged for water!

We had wonderful attentive service. My husband had a delicious steak and I opted for the mussels and fries. I tried a Select Spritz and it was delightful. The view from the second floor overlooking the evening crowd was fun to watch.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Wife and daughter were happy too.

This place is incredible! My last bite was just as hot as my first and everyone is so so friendly, fun and kind. Get the truffle butter and a ribeye on stone... Mac n cheese, fries, mashed potatoes... Unreal good!

For the past 3 years in a row I have made my way here from Texas for my birthday! The best service, steak, and all around restaurant experience you could ask for! The cocktails are to die for and the steak stones is the best steak experience you will have! This location specifically has the perfect outdoor seating when it's a lovely day!

Was hoping for a nice steak place and found it only okay. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The service was good. The bread and butter was a surcharge which I didn't realize at first. We also excited to try the charred broccoli with parmesan and olive oil only to be told at about the point we expected to receive the food they didn't have it. The sides were a big factor in our choice of location so that was pretty disappointing. The 8 oz filet was nicely cooked, was definitely above average and well cooked. The truffle mac and cheese was tasty and was a bit big for one person but a bit small for 2 to really share. The parmesan and truffle fries were pretty basic, with a tiny bit of cheese on top and a bunch of oil at the bottom of the dish so they just ended up being mediocre French fries. It's not a high end steakhouse, but it was fine. All the dishes were fine, not amazing. There wasn't any wow factor here.

Food Service & The ambiance fantastic. Great juicy ribeye cut. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks you guys. Great service.

    Apple Crumble with vanilla gelato

A solid 4.5 stars. The autumn special of pumpkin ravioli was good. The steak was perfectly cooked and the side of truffle mashed potatoes was flavorful. But the Apple Crumble dessert really brought it home. Great food. Our only complaint was the smoking. It was a beautiful evening so we opted for seats outside not noticing the ash trays on every table. While most customers did not smoke two were seated near us about halfway through our meal. The smell reduced our enjoyment and experience.

The staff is quite pleasant. Our waiter, a young Turkish guy was extremely helpful, professional, and fun. The dining room is large and social distancing can be respected. Make sure to ask for the lunch menu if you are there for lunch. We had to wait quite a long time to get our meals. All our meals the Fettuccine, the starter (cauliflower)and the Fish and chips were extremely greasy. If your digestive system is fragile, you need to avoid ordering these dishes.

Food was okay i would totally go to flat iron for better and cheaper steaks. Staff is friendly and place and ambience are good. Poor exhaust for cooking inside since you are cooking by yourself. A cover charge of £1 is added per person just a reminder. Its illegal to add £1 in the end of the experience if you dont mention it in the beginning or in the menu just for a reminder. Some people can sue this if you dont fix it , so remind your workers to tell the customers about this. The tip system is bizarre??? Minimum of £5????? What if im paying for £10 and 12.5% of it is £1.25 and i would pay half of my food for tip? Change this system please!!

The basement has a bar, lounge and restaurant. It was a little noisy. But we could still talk. The roasted scallops were cooked perfectly. The green sauce was tasty. I love the presentation. The Bill Marrow was also good. It was very rich. There were two kinds of Sunday roast a sirloin and a rump. Three of us had the rump roast dinner and three had the sirloin roast dinner. It was hard to tell the difference. All the dinners came with roasted potatoes greens and of course, Yorkshire pudding. It was all delicious. I have to say my favorite part is always the Yorkshire pudding. I also have a green salad, which is basically just lettuce with a light dressing. It was very fresh. We were too full for dessert. The service was excellent. We were seated right away and given water. In the UK, you can order sparkling, still or tap. Sparkling and still come with a charge. Tap is usually free. Our server was attentive without hovering. It's a good idea to make reservations at Hawksmoor especially for the Sunday roast. We got there at three by the time we left around 4:30 some of the roasts were already sold out. Just a note: Sunday roost is usually a late lunch not a dinner. It's good to go between two and four especially if you don't have a reservation.

Minced Beef & Onion: The most popular, apparently. Smooth and moist inside with a buttery flaky outside. Steak & Stout: Same great crust, but with a very distinctive inside, chunks of firm roast and thick gravy where you could actually taste the stout. Probably my favorite pie here. Chicken & Mushroom: A nice variation from beef, but by no means lesser. With it's large chunks and umami gravy, this was like a quick hit fix for when craving a proper chicken pot pie. Mash & Gravy: The mash was smooth and buttery. The gravy was more than plentiful. Kinda lives under the shadow of the delicious pies though. Sticky Toffee Pudding: Good, but not great. The toffee sauce felt a bit too thick and wasn't as warmed as I like it. The sponge cake was alright, but kinda dry, like they just plopped into the toffee sauce puddle. But it did do a good job of soaking up the sauce with a little spoon dexterity.

Got the gravy on the side, didn't think I'd use all of it, before I knew it, it was all gone. I will be mixing mustard into my mashed potatoes from now on. Originally came for the sticky toffee pudding, so of course we ended with that. Marvelous! The toffee sauce is so comforting and rich, the cake was so moist, and it was perfectly balanced with the ice cream. Didn't detect any dates, maybe they were too finely chopped. Also the apple and blackberry crumble just didn't hit the same; it was slightly dry and on the sour side (maybe don't take a bite directly after the pudding!) Service was so helpful and friendly; I'm sure they love watching people fall in love with their food. Quick with refills and offered extra condiments if needed. Great air conditioning as well (always a plus), and I loved the green blacksplash and blackboard caligraphy on the walls as well. Bangin'
