Service was good. Great ambiance. Loved cocktail hour, 2 for 1 drinks. My steak was a little too charred but everyone else good was good.

My first Sunday roast and I can't say enough nice things about this place and the people who provided amazing service. The host made me feel so comfortable and moved me to a shade when my table got too warm. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. I'm so glad to have found this place! Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and constantly checking in w me. I am grateful!

Not good. Sub par to any Brazilian/ US steak house. a) We ordered medium beef, it came rare. b) Pork was overdone and burnt, tasting like a shoe sole. c) Chicken was pink-raw inside - in the U.S the Department of Hygiene will be looking for you. d) The baby spinach was drowned flaccid in oil. Seriously, it wasn't even a vinaigrette. Just trenched in some obscure (hopefully virgin olive) oil. e) A woman next to our table was chain smoking into our face throughout the entire dinner (yes that's apparently allowed in London). They waiter was good though and took the feedback well. They offered a dessert on the house. The apple crumble was very good, rescuing a zero star experience to a three.

Best dessert. Mango sorbet, mouse, honeycomb, perfect!

Great, almost hidden restaurant. Great break from the crowds around Buckingham palace. A little pricey but we were on vacation. I don't recommend the chimichurri add on.

We rented a flat right access the street for a trip to London and this was the first place the showed up on the mall that had steak. We were greetedted quickly and seated right away. Or wastes was great. The food was excellent. The girls shared a meat feast, I had the dry aged beef, and the other daughter had the smoked salmon with a side of Mac and cheese. All of the food was great. The Yorkshire pudding a were a little large and mine had some oil it absorbed from the plate of veggies. We all ordered non-alcoholic cranberry mojitos which were great. The paper straws, while good for the environment, wilted fairly quick though. For dessert we had the hot chocolate cake with ice cream. It was pretty hot (temperature wise). It was a little bitter, but when we mixed in the ice cream it was better. The restaurant was clean as we're the bathrooms. We would definitely go back. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible

This place is conveniently located across from Victoria Station and beside the Victoria Palace Theatre. They had some nice lunch specials available on Saturdays, so we took advantage. My husband had the flank steak with salad, vegetables and potatoes. Flank isn't his favorite cut but it was nicely cooked. The veggies were fresh (far superior to what you normally find in America). I had the same reaction to my lunch special salmon salad, which I enjoyed along with a Thistly Cross strawberry cider. The combination of greens was different than in America, and better. The salmon was perfect, moist and flaky. I felt like I was being healthy and indulgent at the same time.

Chicken and mushroom pie was good. Beef short rib was dry, but had good flavor. Mac and cheese was flavorless and bland.

Most memorable dinner we have experienced in a year or more. …read more Beautiful trout with spring vegetables in a subtle glaze and chicken schnitzel with an aioli type sauce. Even the asparagus deserved its own review. Staff knew how to make the evening a hit including a very rare thing: a well mixed martini. Our meal was topped off with a perfect British sponge cake snuggled down in warm toffee and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The environment of casual benches and chairs with homemade cushions surprisingly served to make the relaxed ambiance the perfect background for the fine dining. The chef and staff share their process in an open kitchen which allows the diner to appreciate the whole experience. No one hurried us. Everyone was professional and lively. Everything on the plate was FANTASTIC. I especially want to note the bacon- I'm somewhat of a bacon snob and theirs was perfectly done. Thick and cooked enough to be sturdy but not overcooked and too crispy. My first time trying black pudding and I was a little hesitant, but it was also delicious. Highly recommend this place. I wish we were staying longer in London, we'd probably come back every morning!

Our first waitress wasn't the warmest but the waiter toward the end of the night turned out to be American and we bonded over that lol. We were provided a complimentary appetizer which was not to any of our tastes. We were a bit too late to do the early dinner 3 course dining so we did a La carte. They seemingly just changed from the summer to fall early dining menu and that didn't quite pique my interest anyway. I had a fish dish but I unfortunately don't remember the name. It was good and appropriately filling. One friend had the open face oxtail lasagna which I tried and was delicious. We skipped dessert but it was one of my friend's birthdays and they gave her a card signed by the staff. We lingered a bit with our cocktails before deciding on the next spot. My friends got the margarita which they enjoys and I had a French 75 which was just ok. Overall I wasn't blown away. I've been to other Michelin rated (bin gourmand etc) which I feel had better food and service for the price point.

We did the tasting of 6 dishes and everything was just too salty and the flavors did not blend on the dish. Almond soup: one of the better dishes and fairly refreshing Veal tartare- presentation was poorly executed and the peach had some dents on the side. Lobster ravioli- good on its own but way to salty with the lobster bisque which had a slightly burnt taste Fish: fish itself was fine but the babaganoush pairing was odd and the red sauce on top and zucchini were way over salted. Lamb- a little gamey and red pepper hummus that came with it was very salty and didn't pair well with the dish. Dessert- milk multiple ways was creative and basically ice cream with a wafer on top made of milk. Service was fine as the place was fairly empty. But maybe there's a reason why it was empty.
