Not usually one to complain. But, First of all, the rolls were ice cold when they brought them to the table. Our waiter was doubling as the bartender and kind of unattentive. We had 4 different servers throughout the visit. We ordered an onion which came out fairly quick. A false impression of dinner to come. We ordered our food and I like my steaks medium, but this came out mooing. Like it had barely kissed the grill and they pulled it off to put on the plate. The manager came around asking if everything was okay, and I asked if they could put it on the grill a little longer. Which they did, but by the time it came back out, everyone was done eating. My mom had a sweet potato and it was old, reheated and hard, but somehow still cold? She also had mixed vegetables that seemed to be straight from the fridge and put in a ramekin.. Sadly, My potato was so cold it didn't even melt butter or the cheese. The best part of the meal was the onion blossom. It also took 40 minutes to get our food. And that was because we asked the manager why there was such a wait for our food to come out. I've never had such a bad experience with a meal at Barboursville location of TX roadhouse before. Probably will be a while before we go again. Worst $ spent on a meal, should've went somewhere else. Our waiter was Josiah, not once did I have to ask for a refill of my tea, very cordial and prompt. His service was impeccable. Steak and chicken dishes were cooked to perfection, we will definitely be back. Our visit was during the peak hours, we arrived at 6:10 pm and got to our table at 6:40, was told 45 min to 1 hour wait, we'll worth the wait. This place handled the rush like a well oiled machine. I'm sure I'm spelling her name wrong... but it was spelled similar so bear with me lol. Lyndsay (bartender) was our server. We sat in a booth around the bar area. She was absolutely the SWEETEST waitress ever. She gave amazing recommendations for my husband and I and then even told us about another local place (when we asked her) that we should try out while in town visiting. It's hard to find waitresses that are REALLY good these days so it was very refreshing to have her! Ask for her. Food was delish of course! Atmosphere was like all others but decorated with Christmas decor which was nice! read more

Best steak consistently in this area. Clean and great service. My only prop is no reservations and wait times can get long in the evenings.

It started out good or so we thought first the refreshments and appetizer ordered than no sign of our waitress so we sat there for almost an hour before our main course was ordered and then our food comes out and our steak both were over cooked and burnt! Tremendous portion sizes and delicious steaks. They can accommodate large groups and teams if you call ahead. I also enjoy their ability to get on their waitlist to be seated via their app. read more

A solid eating experience with excellent service and generous portions. Every main dish for our party of six was cooked as requested; the steaks were not over- or under-done. All of the sides were tasty. Service was efficient and timely despite the restaurant being at capacity. One star off for the music, in was quite loud inside and outside. read more

We got here as soon as they opened. They brought our rolls and butter, but the plates were ice cold. We ordered our food. It didn't take long for it to come out, but there was a fly that came out with our food, and buzzed around us the whole time we ate. Overall, the food tasted good and the service was satisfactory but they need to fix their fly problem. read more

First off they set us in a both at the end which I thought was good till the shoved to stack chairs next to my seat so I was blocked in. The brought our cactus blossom which was good until we got to the bottom and it wasn't cooked.I order a half fall off the bone ribs that turned out to be refrigerator cold. The bake potato was hot and so was the corn. So the brought me another half rack of ribs which was hot on one end and cold on the other end. I really don't think this was or will be worth going to again. read more

Food was picked up promptly, a manager even stopped me and said your food is being double checked and will be right out. I got rubbery rolls that appeared to have been microwaved and my salad was not fresh, croutons not crunchy, I've given this place multiple chances to make it up but I don't see myself going back! I ordered curbside pickup keyword curbside. My promised time was 10:23.I followed the directions on the curbside sign in my spot. And unfortunately, my order was never brought out. So around 10:30, I decided just to walk in and get the food. The food was good didn't get the ranch that's supposed to come with cheese fries. Overall food was good service was lacking. Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants -- this location is trying its best to kill that for me! I'm from DC bit moved here during COVID to help my grandma out So I've gotten to know dining out here in Huntington pretty well. Out of maybe 20 visits to this location, I've had 2 good experiences. It's so sad. I ordered fish this past Friday and 1 piece was bad (like old), no plastic ware, sweet potato over cooked, salad not prepared as requested.... After notifying this store's management so many times, I called corporate because clearly they are not self-correcting. We ordered dinner here to celebrate my uncles birthday to feed 12 ppl. Only ONE order was prepared correctly. That is awful! read more

We frequent TRH at least once a week, with that being said we normally get really nice waiters and waitresses. Today was horrible, the guy had no personality. When he took our drink order I was getting ready to ask him if we could have some peanuts, but he walked off. ‍. So my husband got up and got us a bag. The waiter never once came back to our table to see if our salads were okay or if we needed more dressing. Then our steaks were brought out and he never took the time to stop and ask us if our food was alright and did we need anything. There wasn't a manager that stopped by to see if everything was okay.The waiter didn't smile and acted like he was most out out, but he was smiling and laughing with a female waitress and giving her a high five. Apparently he hates his job or maybe just serving people in general. When you ask for sweet tea, it isn't sweet. Our table was dirty. We are finished with TRH in Huntington!! Waitress ruined the experience by rushing us off just so she could get the check sooner and fill the table. We had our coats on ready to leave and she says merry Christmas as a way to come take the check. Just rude rude rude. Dumb psychological tactic so she can push us out and so she can fill a seat. Other than that the meal was great. Nothing else bad to say because the restaurant did a great job. Just one bad apple screwed up everything. read more

Never eaten at Longhorn before But glad we gave this place a try. We got here about 730 at night. We sat the bar area because AC little cool in the dining room. We were greeted by our waitress Sabra, who was fun and full of recommendations. I had 8oz sirloin with baked potato and salad. Husband had the Cajun chicken pasta. My sirloin was delicious. Wonderful flavor. The pasta was enportion and we brought a lot of that home. The rolls were absolutely delicious. read more

Unfortunately will have to say the worst Texas Roadhouse I have ever been to. Waiter was very kind and did a great job but the cooks at this place need fired. Whole table of food was incorrect not to mention undercooked prime rib and over cooked steaks. read more

Easy to find and easily accessible off the state route on the east side of Huntington. Call ahead was a breeze and only had a ten minute wait on a busy Saturday evening. Staff was attentive and friendly and both meals were delicious. Docked one star bc my cheese fries were not loaded as ordered, but were expediently replaced correctly. Our server was at a disadvantage because there were screaming kids running around and we DIDN'T want to be ANYTHERE near them so we sat in the bar. So it was out of his line of sight. He was very attentive and I'm a bartender so all he had to do was get us a few beers and lunch while we were on our way out of town. Hubby enjoyed his tenders but my salad was horrible. It was all white pieces, I asked for NO tomatoes or cucumbers and I got BOTH AND I asked for medium rare steak and got chunks of brown things. I picked them out. Kitchen staff really needs to start READING the tickets. I had server read back my order twice to make sure HE got it right so it's the KITCHEN staff who needs training. $40 for lunch which was a complete disappointment. read more

Great service but good luck getting a steak cooked as requested. My medium came out well done twice.

So delicious!!! 4 of us for dinner on a Tuesday night at 6:30. It was packed but we were sat immediately. I think we got lucky because it looked like everyone in town was there! My only complaint was that it was LOUD, but I think that's to be expected. I got the 6oz Filet and I think it was the best steak I've ever had. Seriously! My baked potato was good, and the sweet rolls they bring were really good, but oh that steak! So perfectly cooked and seared. Yum! My daughter got a steak off the kids menu, a sirloin, and I think it was an even bigger portion than mine! We ordered it medium and it did come a bit in the medium rare side. It was close enough that we kept it. My son got the kids tenders and they were really really good. He ate all 6 and they were a generous size. He was so happy! And the waitress was kind enough the get us a bag of the delicious rolls to take home with us. Highly recommended! read more

Sent it back to get cooked/heated and took another 20 minutes to get back. Rolls were cold, burnt, hard/over cooked, stingy with butter & condiments.. waitress very slow and never checks on us.. we've been here over an hour and a half... currently still waiting for the check....... read more

Food is just as great as The Ashland Roadhouse, however, the rolls are always overcooked and I've had to send a few dishes back, including dirty dishes. Overall, very pleased. Hopefully they get the rolls right soon. UPDATE: Rolls have gotten better. read more

We had dinner on Friday the food was perfect. My steak was just as ordered and the other steak was really tender. The sides were good and the service was outstanding. Our server Ruth is everything and above what anyone would hope. She was friendly, courtesies and professional. Our runner from Logan county has to be mentioned as well. I'll call him Mr.T very friendly and helpful as well with the coolest accident. I wish his job was just to stand by me the whole time and talk so I can enjoy the accent.
