Came here for lunch , food was good service was fast, members of my party ordered a garlic hamburger. A patty melt and a cheeseburger, as well as one member of my party also ordered a strawberry shake.

It's hard to not like Steak 'n Shake. Come on, what's not to like, a steak burger with a milkshake? If you hate it, then you must be out of your mind. I have only been to Steak 'n Shake twice, the first time in OKC when I was trying to find a place to eat during late hours and the second time in Kansas when I was working for Walmart. I have not seen a Steak 'n Shake until working in Broken Arrow, and I knew I have to stop by eventually. It's not that Steak 'n Shake have the best steak burgers or milkshake, but it's more about my reminiscences of the past. More than 10 years have passed, but the steak burger and milkshake at Steak 'n Shake still tasted the same as before. I used to think that they have the best burgers and milkshakes. One thing I did forget was the fries, super thin and not great...not great at all. So many memories with Steak 'n Shake. Who knew a place could be emotionally provoking? I would recommend for the nostalgia. If you've never been to a Steak 'n Shake in the past, then you can totally pass.

Server She didn't say her name. She's a bit pushy to get our order. But, other than that. She's been fine. Ambiance Its a 50's themed restaurant with the appropriate themed music. Food The royal burger was very good, nice crisp bacon, perfectly fried egg on top of a pair of freshly grilled steak burgers. The garlic single was good. Was like garlic cheese toast with meat. The chili cheese fries left a lot to look at. But tasted good. The mint oreo sundae was quite good. Overall They've made lots of changes since our last visit. So, food was good. Looking forward to the mini mint chocolate chip sundae again. Military Yes

I always love coming here to feel like I'm in a retro diner! The service is super quick, and the menu is filled with great and affordable options. The garlic steak burger is my favorite because it's seasoned so well, and the fries are skinny and delicious!

I think it is named after a local ranch so sorry if I butchered it. I asked what was on it... all I heard was grilled onions, jalapeños, and some sauce and I was all in!! The burger came on toast and is very similar to a patty melt if you like that style. Honestly it was a great burger. The wife and I shared some cheese and onion fries... I can't say enough about how delicious it was. My wife ended up getting the class burger which comes with cheese sauce to dip fries or your burger in....i wanted the cheese sauce on everything but I did my best to hold back. Service is always great accompanied with some local brews... honestly this is a great place to eat local beef and local brews!

It takes a LOT of reading before you can figure out what you want. I understand wanting to highlight farms that the beef is sourced from, but it shouldn't be the most prominent thing in the menu. It's super confusing. Last, the truffle fries need reworked badly. I got fries with some truffle-esque condiment squeezed randomly on top. Fries needed to be tossed in the sauce while hot, so it was a soggy mess. 1/5, wouldn't recommend those.

They completely took over a 2 story area and made it something unique and interesting. There are essentially 2 restaurants in one here. During the day you get a menu from "The Bramble" which is breakfast and brunch type fair and at 3pm it switches to Shaky Jake's, which had more burgers, apps, wings etc. There's also a circle shaped full service bar in the middle of the building and seats all around. It already is a creative way to get folks in the door. The food though, always excellent!! I've yet to have had anything bad here, but would recommend the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, any flavor of hot wing and the Philly burger. Seeing a trend here?

The food was wonderful and it was not their fault that they didn't have enough help. They were all decked out for the holidays. However, overall everything was good. I definitely wanna try other things on the menu. I appreciate they have daily specials. I tried the two dollar shrimp tacos and the shrimp was really good. Overall this is a really great place that I will go back to. It used to be a church and you can tell the space is big and beautiful and clean in the bathrooms were also nice.

Not in the mood for a burger or sandwich? There are other options such as salad and pasta, which rounds out the menu. Drink options are also well covered from standard fountain drinks and lemonade to classic shakes or those a little boozy. The hostess (she didn't say her name) had the personality of a rock. If you're a business owner, you want the host/hostess to be the gleaming face of your establishment. This hostess had no smile, no energy, and no desire to be a welcoming person. Eyore has a better personality. Now, on the flip side, Bella (our server) was a rock star. She was on top of drink refills without asking, checked on us numerous times and had an excellent personality and demeanor. Again, the food was top notch, but you really need employees that serve as a host/hostess to put on their happy face and actually act like you enjoy working there. She may have been having a bad day, but that is not an excuse.

Having reservations helped, and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.
