The food was amazing! We couldn't stop saying how full we were after those amazing meals, thanks Chef! Our server JOE was awesome- he had his own little jokes that kept the night going.. the food came out without a hiccup, thanks for not messing up the order. I recommend eating here if you love a good BBQ sauce which is readily available at the table. Oh yeah another Bonus is the restaurant offers to go cups for their delicious sweet tea and lemonade!! We left happy Campers!

The brisket was good. I was disappointed that they didn't have collared greens, but they didn't. The barbecue sauces are really good. Try them all (they have a sweet, a hot and a mustard). The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I like that. The portions are good sized. I couldn't finish mine, and neither could my friend (he had the ribs). Since I was staying in a hotel and he lives here, I gave him my leftovers to take with his. That will give him another meal (or a generous snack). Ample free parking is another bonus.

Place was had 1 customer. Service was fast, I ordered the half rack of ribs, meat was tender. I wish they made their own bbq sauce. Mac and cheese was ok. The coleslaw was crunchy but dry. Over all is a good place.

4pc catfish with pickle tomatoes and loaded baked potatoe. I also got the cobbler (not pictured)

I'm excited the catfish is strips now and not those nugget looking things I've had n the past. Everything was good. Fish could have used a little more flavor and been a bit more crispy, but still good none the less. I looked the pickled tomatoes and it even came with a side of pickles & onions It was also a generous amount of tarter which surprised me since it was a Togo order. I don't eat her often but when I do Ive never had any major issues with my choices

Upon arriving in Oklahoma for Spring Break, I kept seeing these restaurants. Being the carnivore family we are, after visiting The Outsiders Museum House, I said The Rib Crib it is for us. This location has plenty of parking space. We were greeted in a nice, friendly way and seated. As you enter, you can find the unisex clean restrooms. It was lunchtime, and the kids ordered off the lunch special. We mainly ordered pork ribs and brisket. The food arrived quickly, and our server was extra nice. The ribs had no smoke or rub taste. The BBQ sauce had a semi enhancing flavor. The okra had a slight greese taste, but fries were good. My wife had ribs and pulled pork baked potato, but she had to add BBQ sauce for flavor. The cost was $71 plus a tip, which was not worth it. The customer service was A+ food quality at that price. I'd rather stay in my crib

Went to a holiday event where there was Rib Crib that had been catered. We just had two kinds of meat: chopped and sliced brisket. I only had the chopped because I just like my bbq best that way. We also got two things of regular bbq sauce and one slightly smaller container of a spicier sauce. Of course I only got the spicy sauce! I really didn't think it was that spicy... in general it was fine, but nothing in particular that was memorable about it. The meat that I had was standard and pretty good. I feel like some of it was drier and some of it was juicier, though I'm not sure how that would make sense so I'm probably just imagining that. One thing that was odd was that when we went to pick up the order, they said that they didn't have it. This was pretty bad because not only did we need it like right then to be ready for the party (and obviously the order was put in ahead of time), but also because it had already been paid for... and they were saying they couldn't find the order!!! That was pretty crazy to me. Then somehow after like 10 minutes they found the order. I just found this odd because it's not like it was hiding haha! Like why was the order all of the sudden found? The order did seem a bit smaller than normal, as noted by the one who always makes the order/ plans it (it's sort of an annual gathering) but oh well. Anyway, we got the order in the end, so I guess all's well that ends well???

Tried this location after first rib crib was out of brisket. There was a noticeable difference in location, with this store, it looked cleaner and spacious. It was empty, although we had option to dine in. We did a to go order and it came quickly. The food tasted good but was cold. The fries were hot but meat cold when I received and the portions pretty small for a $15 barbecue dinner. I was hungry so no complaints from me. I ate half the meal and was done, not full but just not interested in the meal. Once I arrived home made a peanut butter sandwich.

For a $13 salad, it would seem reasonable there would be more chicken.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. I was deciding between MisFits & another location so I texted a friend to make the final decision. Long story short, she chose MisFits & we met around 1pm. From what I've been recommended, my/our experience was pretty aligned with what I had heard. Random summer Thursday. Perfect for a good lunch. I was familiar with where MisFits was but never walked inside. Considering that other downtown locations either are on a one-way street, are in busier areas or have less parking availability, the location is relatively convenient. I parked right in front of the restaurant & entered an enamoring space. The entrance leads into a hallway with the host toward the end. Once past the "host hall," the interior is 80% modern, 20% retro. Filled with booths, clear lanes and a good mix of seating options. The lighting is perfectly balanced with large windows for natural light to be let in with other fixtures filling the gaps. We sat in the large "L" shaped booth & our server was with us almost immediately (there were only 2 other tables sat at the time). Of all the menus I've observed, MisFits may have the most efficient offerings ever. There's not tons of variety but it didn't feel limited either. Classic American Favorites, Only. While our server was wrapping up with the other 2 tables, I reluctantly decided on the 1/2 Sandwich (The Wifey) 1/2 Soup (Rotisserie Chicken Tortilla Soup) with Sweet Potato Fries while my friend ordered the B.B. Burger & normal fries. The food came out relatively quickly, less than 10mins after placing the order. The chicken sandwich was good but I was more surprised at how hearty & flavorful the soup was! It made me want to order a full order of nachos. My friend stated that her burger was good except the bacon was thicker & chewier than she would have liked (but she's picky). We conversed for another 20-30mins afterwards but I think we were both satisfied with our meals. Overall, I believe that MisFits has almost the perfect name: it's located downtown but still seems to be one of the more underrated restaurants in the district. If you want above-average American food & don't want to pay above average prices, this is the place to go. I'd be happy to revisit in the evening to see the full luminary experience.
