But we had a good appointment and she loved her new dr . We always go out to eat afterwards and she chose Cracker Barrel . We were greeted and quickly seated . In Ashley's area . She was so kind and compassionate and understanding as my friend is hearing impaired . ( hearing aids ) Ashley's tone of voice and the level of speaking in her sweet Voice . Miss peggy was able to understand . Ashley did very well engaging in conversation . And after our meal was brought out to us we requested Blackberry Jelly with our Homemade Biscuits .. yummy !! I asked to talk to the Manager that afternoon around 2pm and we bragged on Ashely and ended with a photo . Thank you for you for going above and beyond . I will let you ponder on that., My weekday dinner stop was somewhat brief being on the road with a schedule. No problem parking, or waltzing in and being offered seating. But first a look at the case to choose a steak. The dining room was tidy and hostess friendly. Soon after being seated my waitress arrived with drink order and rolls. I wasted no time lettering her know a Ft. Worth ribeye was chosen from the case and medium temp. The sides loaded sweet potato and mixed vegetables. For drink a tap beer. As I waited on my dinner the rolls smothered with cinnamon butter helped my appetite after not having lunch. The bread was hot and yummy! Within 20 minutes food hit the table and everything was correct. I love a great loaded sweet potato and hit that first, so good! The steak was a bit overcooked, but still delicious and no complaints. The mixed vegetables fresh. I did receive a follow up and offer for more rolls. The check was taken care of at the table on their machine. Although prices have skyrocketed I feel they have done better than others trying to hold the line. This Terre Haute Roadhouse was a solid stop and got me down the road.

I was not prepared for what I thought was just going to be another "truck stop" restaurant. I don't know if all Iron Skillet's are this way but this one had a an awesome salad bar. So I ordered a one trip deal to complement my meal and regretted not getting the all you can eat because they also had a lot of other hot food buffet style that I could have easily filled up on. Plus there were small dessert options so you try different ones. The salad bar section had way more choices that what I am used to. The decor was updated and not worn out. I then went to another website for another restaurant who uses the same ordering system, placed an order and got confirmation. One I was picking up at 11:30 when I was picking up at 11:45. The following morning I went to go check my emails just to confirm the times I see an email from wings etc. had changed my order time to the same day that I placed the order. I then started calling wings, etc. trying to get something resolved. Took till 1030 to get someone on the phone ok so they open at 11. And was told they would call right back. Call them 30 min later still can't tell me anything I then go there at 1130 my original pickup time. And through text message with the GM was told that I had to replace the order pay for it and they would refund it back to me I had to feed people so rather than arguing I did it I was not going to make my company pay for it twice so I went ahead and paid for it being told I was gonna get a refund but they had to do that to be able to make the order. I was told I was gonna get a call for this the same day that it happened. I had to actually call there today to find out what was going on. I was told I'm only getting half of what I paid extra for the second order because of their website screwing up and then not being able to do anything without the general manager there. Not only that but I get a second call from somebody else telling me the exact same thing that I was already told when I called them. This was over $80 order and I left a 20% tip and they didn't have the courtesy to call and inquire why such a large order would be paid for with a 20% tip again I never got a confirmation text or phone call about the order being placed everywhere else, including the other place that I used that I use the same ordering system I got a text message from them. I will not be returning to wings, etc. my company will not be using them again and I hope you stay away too
