Decent food, resort prices. 2 adult meals, 2 kids meals, no apps/desserts: $240. Just a little pricey for a slightly above average meal. The restaurant wait staff was very nice. They were accommodating about last minute reservation changes. Great atmosphere and located in the Snowbird Center. One of the best restaurants at Snowbird.

A little post dinner entertainment near the parking lot.

The Steak Pit is a hidden gem inside Snowbird Ski Resort that I had never visited with all my trips to Snowbird. Located on the lower level of the Resort Center this is a nice dining experience at the resort. We arrived early and were lucky to score some outside seating that is only available first come, first served. This enhanced our experience upon arrival. We dined outside underneath the Snowbird trams and adjacent to the creek. The ambiance was so nice. Tonight's special was filet mignon oscar. WOW. A juicy filet mignon with a full lobster claw meat, bearnaise sauce and served on a bed of asparagus. Everyone in our party ordered the special because it sounded so delicious and it truly was delicious. Dinners here are served with a loaf of grain bread and the Steak Pit salad bowl with their homemade house Caesar vinaigrette. They have a full wine and cocktail list and I recommend the High West Old Fashioned to start the evening. I can't believe I hadn't discovered the Steak Pit in all my visits to Snowbird. Definitely a nice dining experience with great ambiance. I'll be back again.

I came here with my company so we were a very large group. I got here about 10 minutes late so I wasn't with the crowd. When I found the location, I was greeted by two women gossiping and wiping down cups. I have to be standing there for about a minute before they acknowledged me. When I'm about to respond that I'm with my company, one of them cut me off and answered the other girl's question. Yes, that's extremely rude. And what's even worse is that they didn't seat me to my party! The just gave me directions where to go because they wanted to continue their gossip. Very unprofessional in my opinion. We sat down and my server forgot my drink, she forgot the table's side dishes, and she wasn't very attentive. I also ordered my filet mignon rare and it was presented to me on a sizzling hot plate. Why are y'all continuing to cook my rare steak? The end pieces were rare but obviously it was cooked medium inside. The appetizers were just ok. The bacon wrapped scallops weren't anything to rave about. They seriously used the microwave pre cooked bacon to wrap around the pre frozen scallops. The cocktail shrimp is good, but the cocktail sauce was sweet. It's like they opened up a jar of cocktail sauce and added sugar. The $15 old fashion I ordered was a joke. Although they used the high west double rye whiskey, they used the grocery store cure cream aisle maraschino cherries and not the luxardo.

Located in the bottom of the snowbird center, is the classic a classic steakhouse known as the steak pit. This restaurant is decorated like any modern steak house with wood paneling and leather booths. The wine selection is surprisingly good for a place in Utah, carrying several Napa varietals, albeit high dollar ones. They could benefit more from some middle priced wine. Also have beer and a full bar, but you cannot sit at the bar. I got a ribeye- it was good, well made, and no complaints at all. The meal comes with one side, we also got a potato- which was also ok. Service was good. One weird thing- the booth lights are all in direct line of sight of your company and the wait staff. Overall good for what it is, could be better.

This was the only place that' was serving food in Snowbird so we came here. My friend told me this place is like the Sizzler with a high price, I was laughing saying No Way!! Because the place is very nice with a bunch of wine displayed in the front. First they gave us this sprouted bread that was very good with chive butter and also gave us family style salad and I had it with their house made Caesar Italian dressing that was interesting and good. I ordered NY strip medium rare with mushroom peppercorn sauce, side of asparagus, my friend ordered Trout. My steak wasn't medium rare, more like medium, dry, no fat at all, the quality was livery low, I guess it's like the Sizzler, even though I've never been to Sizzler... And the trout was so small, they both had a high price like at the high end steak house... i wish their protein quality was better, but I probably won't go back there...

My husband and I decided to try this place for brunch after church and Since it was the off season,…read morewe knew there would not be lot of people there. Upon arrival we requested patio seating, where a large party was also seated. The server was a little slow to acknowledge us, however as she was helping the large party we let it go. We did overhear someone from the large group they wanted to order biscuits and gravy and was promptly informed they were out (this was about 10 am - posted business hours were from 8 am to 4 pm). The patio was had great view, the weather was perfect and of course being in the off season hardly many visitors It took the several minutes after taking their order to finally stop by. My husband ordered the black bean with chicken and informed they were out. So he opted for the Caesar salad with chicken and I ordered the eggs Benedict; he chose to stick with water and I ordered a n iced tea. When our order was brought it, it looked great. And was brought out by someone who was not our server. However my eggs were very overcooked; husband's salad had too much dressing. Not once did our server come by to check on either us or the large party until it was time to pay. My husband ended drinking the water brought to us when we're seated and I drank my iced tea slowly to make it last for the duration of our meal. We did observe another couple who was seated on the patio about the time we placed our order, the server was very attentive to them. Additionally there was a single young man also seated about the same time who was ignored by the server for good length of time.

I ordered Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Potatoes, and Sourdough Bread Toast. The breakfast was good. An average breakfast but the best part was the view. It was spectacular. In my opinion the prices are quite steep for breakfast. The breakfast plate was twenty two dollars but that's to be expected staying on a ski resort. The customer service was good and could be quite slow at times.

I had an enjoyable dinner at the Aerie. I was slightly apprehensive given previous mixed reviews…read more The carrot appetizer was tasty but not so good that I would order it again. The wagyu osso buco was good, very tender, but the seasoning/flavor was not superlative. I enjoyed the mushroom bolognese tagliatelle the most (it was the most flavorful, and was filling). The coconut gelato was absolutely fantastic (creamy, rich, yet vegan), but I believe I had the same gelato at SeventyOne so it's not solely available at the Aerie. A friend had dinner at the Aerie the evening before and was disappointed in the mushroom appetizer, celery veloute, and sea bass (which she said was overcooked). So it's possible I enjoyed dinner also because my expectations were tempered. The ambiance is terrific with the tremendous windows and view Service was reasonably attentive, especially the sommelier Given the price/value alone I'd probably rate 3.5 but the ambiance bumps it to a 4

I had trouble with the elk meatball pasta. The balls were very tough and tasted gamey. The pasta wasn't thick pappardelle ribbons as noted on the menu, but rather thin like linguine. The $18+ dollar soups were anticlimactic (especially for the price) and needed more substance. The children's pasta was very salty and wasn't made with homemade pasta. The salmon entree looked beautiful on the plate however the fish was medium rare to rare and not as flaky as I hoped. The blue sauce had no actual flavor and was scant. The papaya salad was weird to say the least and tough. Possibly the worst plate of food had to have been the salad I've pictured, with some spotted radicchio. Super bitter and inedible. We sent it away and noticed the table next to us also complain about theirs. The other salad that we replaced it with was just okay and needed more elements. On a positive note, the staff were really friendly and polite and the complimentary bread with honey butter was delicious. My recommendation is to skip this restaurant and walk down to the Steak Pit.

The best part of this restaurant is the view off the small patio…read more We made reservations online at a cost of $12 for each person which I thought was strange. On the website it says the $12 will go towards your meal. When we arrived, we checked in at the hostess booth, which was just outside the door. When we walked into the dinning room we noticed there was NO ONE seated at any of the tables. We were seated clear in the back by the server's station looking into the kitchen. (I noticed they use box wine) Why she sat us clear in the back on a tiny table for four people is beyond us. (There were six of us.) Finally, we had to ask her to put two tables together so that we could all have room to eat. I ordered a mimosa with orange juice. We asked if the orange juice was freshly squeezed and she said no it wasn't. It tasted just ok, the sparkling wine they used was Not champagne for sure, and it tasted as such. We tried to order the grilled asparagus and the Japanese soufflé pancakes, both were not available. I ordered the Sunrise Baguettes for our appetizer and the Citrus Cognac Pain Perdu, and For the Groms for the main entre. The waitress didn't bring out the "Warm bun Basket" as indicated on the menu, but some Rock Hard OLD cinnamon buns with rock hard icing! I tried to put my fork into one and my fork wouldn't go in.... literally. Mind you these small buns were just sitting on the counter waiting for the flies to land on them, no covering, no wonder they were rock hard and old. The palette cleanser came out next which was the best food item of the morning. However, they used some bottom shelf balsamic vinegar which was bitter. Then came our brunch items. What shock when we saw how small the French toast was, just two small burnt end pieces of a baguette. The menu said it came with maple syrup, none was brought to our table. For my order the food was cold and old. It looked and tasted like it was from a few days ago, and they just heated it up in the oven or microwave. The hashbrowns were so greasy, and not fresh at all, the same for the scrambled eggs. Usually when I've had scrambled eggs they are light and fluffy and warm, not here! The waitress came over and said "I forgot to put in the order for the Sunrise Baguettes, I will do that now and not charge you for them." Uhhh ok. They never did show up, and the good thing is she didn't charge us for them. When the "included dessert" came out, we all had to share, we didn't get our own dessert. I took one bite and couldn't eat it. I'm not a fan of yogurt. I didn't eat it, so my partner got to eat it all. Why didn't we get our own dessert, these were too tiny to really share? Last by not least, the waitress didn't apply the money from the reservation to the bill. We didn't notice until we walked outside. When we brought it up to the waitress she said "No, that is to make a reservation." We asked to talk to a manager, and she said there wasn't one around and she would have the manager call us. What no manager on duty! I don't recommend eating here, but if you do, just go as a walk in, there is plenty of seating (we had the whole dining room to ourselves) and bypass the $12 to register that won't get taken off your bill.

They were not; they were actually 50% or more higher at the restaurant. The hamburger that was showing on Yelp for $15 was actually $22. The Steak Frites advertised for $22 were $35. I understand inflation, but this was a gross enough difference that it borders on deception, in my opinion. I also had a bad experience with my food: I ordered a cup of their chili (which they claim is made from scratch, on-site) and it was brought to the table cold. Like, "right out of a can" cold. Kelsi, our fantastic server, returned it to the kitchen where (I presume) they nuked it and brought it back. It was heated, but not very tasty. Flat; under-seasoned; mushy textured. Definitely something I'd never order again. Many reviews say the atmosphere is "loud" but what they mean is, it's "LOUD". We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? My burger was FANTASTIC! piled high with caramelized onions and pastrami, but beef patty tasted like it'd just come off a charcoal grill. Terrific flavor in every bite. (The parmesan fries were tasty, too, but a little on the soggy side.) My dining partners each had a salad (one 'wedge' and one 'beetroot') and both were well-prepared and generously portioned. And, finally, the staff, the location, the vibe: All really first-rate. I'll probably come back, if I ever recover from the bait'n'switch sticker shock. (But I'll steer clear of the chili and opt to dine on the patio, if that's available!)
