We went here for happy hour and it was great! It was quite crowded but we were able to find bar top seating and eventually moved to a table. We had burgers and the salmon entree and absolutely loved it! We definitely would go again for happy hour!

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... Maybe it would have been better if we got a steak? We got the taco truck trio, the filet mignon steak bites, and the French dip. The taco truck trio COULD have been good except everything was pretty cold (this was a theme) and the tortillas were gigantic crackers that were not conducive to "tacoing" the food. The au just wasn't that at all - it was brown gravy - and flavorless to boot. The steak bites were fine, as far as steak goes, but it was the same brown gravy. My dining companion enjoyed his drinks, and mine were strong but not terribly good. They got the job done, though. Overall it wasn't a cheap outing, and for the price I would have expected more. The only plus is that service was quite friendly, and because it's at the golf course, there's plenty of parking.

Dessert menu! Banana chocolate chip bread pudding with a bourbon glaze.

Celebrated a birthday here with family and pleasantly surprised with several options, portion sizes and tastiness! Each plate was thoroughly enjoyed and the refreshing drinks were a hit. We can't wait to visit again soon!

I have a HUGE issue with this venue. We did have a wedding recently there. Many promises verbally…read moreand via text... but were lies. I am happy to share our experience with the intent to forewarn ANYONE thinking of using this venue... 1) unsanitary conditions (a refrigerator that I wouldn't put dog food in, rat, or mouse droppings underneath the kitchen sink, no paper towels to dry your hands in the bathrooms, but instead, he kindly put some bath towels in there, no trash cans in any of the bathrooms) 2) We were told there would be parking at the field next to the venue up until the night before, and then on the day of the wedding were told guests had to park 1 mile away at a local church and he would shuttle people back-and-forth. We had to inform every wedding guest to park at this church. He stopped shuttling people when he thought everybody was there. We had one of the brides friends who was running late and could not get a shuttle from him to the venue. She ran the whole mile to the wedding in hopes that she wouldn't miss her best friends Wedding. She ended up making it just in time to see the kiss. 3) venue Jeff was in everybody's grill on the day of the wedding so much that he was videoing things, trying to sell his book to guests, in the bridal suite, removing items, and even had the audacity to tour two people during our wedding 4) venue Jeff told us he would have 150 chairs and 20 banquet tables for the wedding. When he was asked a few weeks before the wedding, he said oh yeah, I did not get those so you will have to secure some Yes, I have pictures. Our plan was to give him some constructive feedback once things settle down on our end. Clearly, from other reviews and posts I have been reading, it would be a waste of my breath. I really try to assume good intent, and believe that it is important to giving constructive feedback, but we are still absolutely in disbelief of all the took place. My personal opinion is he should do the right thing and refund some of the money (we paid 5k) but clearly that's not that type of person he is. I try not to wish ill on anybody, but I do not believe this is a business that he's going to be very successful with based on ours and other peoples experience.

I am 17 now, volunteering my spring and summer breaks to work at the camp I feel changed me the most! As a kid I loved tons of activities like all the games, swimming, sports day and of course all the crafty things I got to take home with me. Reaching my adult years and I still love the sport of Riding and the experience of being around horses. Working at Webbs gives me a chance to help and give back to other children. My family at Webbs is forever expanding, and if you're thinking of sending your child here, I can only give you support! working at Webbs gives you a whole different perspective on how things are run, compared to as when your a child actually staying at the camp. a basic broken down list of the week for you (long weeks) Sunday-Saturday (short weeks) Monday-Friday FIRST DAY: its basically all the rules, guide lines and all the "what you need to know" things. You walk up to the fields with the consolers to visit all of the horses, and when you return you go to your dorm to get beds and dorm rules sorted out. Snack is served and a camp fire is put on just before bed. EARLY IN THE WEEK: BELL RINGS!! TIME FOR BREAKFAST! After breakfast is the first dorm inspection, this is where the messiest dorm, after provided cleaning time, is choosing to clean the tables at lunch, dinner (that day) and breakfast tomorrow! (don't worry its fun!) Children get divided into mixed groups so there are enough horses for each child in a group. Groups ride at different times of the day and rotate order on the following days. In the morning groups who are not riding do activities and games with their group leaders like; Manhunt, Kick The Can, Octopus ect. There is a playground, volley ball court, basket ball court, gym, arts and crafts room and of course the pool! After lunch the remaining group(s) go riding and other groups get into the groove of games :) MIDDLE OF THE WEEK: Because they're so many options of things to do, it keeps everyone busy throughout the week. Another activity that is from Webbs Holiday Acres traditions is sports day, where pool and field events are held and groups compete friendly against each other, and cheer on friends during events. END OF THE WEEK: The first half of the week goes the slowest with everyone still getting to know everyone and their surroundings, but by the middle and the end of the week, you can hear everyone complaining how the week is coming to an end. A very cool and fun way to bring the week to an end, is how Webbs does the last full day at camp!! after riding, activities and dinner Kangaroo Court is held where any child with any kind of crime that week has to face the wrath of one of Webbs judges. crimes range anything from falling off of your horse (punishment might be: hug/kiss the ground and thank it for catching you) or Julie for always wearing dresses, (punishment might be: must wear pants for the rest of Kangaroo court) We always encourage good things and lots of children get to go home with a horseshoe for being a good friend, good rider, or helper at the barn. After this entertaining trial everyone runs for their dorms to get ready for the DANCE!!! The dance was always my favourite part of the week, because you had your friends established, and that night you just let loose, have a little bit to much candy and sing and dance the night away with your friends. Thats my little summary of Webbs Holiday Acres, I hope you give it a try! I'll see you there!! ;) Danielle (probably 10+ years of Webbs Summers)

More importantly, it's an outstanding summer experience for kids who love (and want to ride) horses and want to make new friends. I know this firsthand, having spent many summers as a child at Webb's in the past. Looking back, spending an entire week (6 nights, 7 days) away from your parents, in a different setting, with all sorts of new people and daily activities, is a really great way to grow as a kid. FYI: Some of these activities included: campfire songs and storytelling, trail riding horses, going to a non-school dance, participating in skits, playing capture the flag, etc, etc. I recommend this place to my friends who are parents now, and still sometimes go and visit. Since it's only 50-minute drive from central Vancouver, it still feels like a convenient country escape. Some of the friendships I made during my summers here have lasted a lifetime.

Judging from the fact my og review of Overflow's Lynden location is almost 10 years old (!), I'd say it's more than time for a refresh. A lot has changed since my 2016 declaration that "beer and Lynden" are not often two words you associate with each other. Lynden now has a few hoppy outposts, including a second Overflow location on the west side. Guess I'll add that one to my list, too! This particular Sunday, we were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet beer and play a game of cribbage. I was excited to see Overflow was open (back in "the day" most Lynden businesses were closed on Sundays). We grabbed a couple of pints (just $5 ea!) and sat down for our game. The service was friendly, the place was uncrowded, and it was hard not to order a second pint before the long drive home to the Ham. Overflow, congrats on 10 years in Lynden! It's great to see you're still thriving, still serving up some great beer choices, and still supporting clean water initiatives. Cheers!
