Prime Cowboy Ribeye 20 Oz

The food was amazing especially the red snapper, liked the leeks and sauce. My husband and sons like their steaks. The service was great with waiters being attentive. The ambiance was okay, I wish it has more light thought, sometimes felt too dark especially reading the menu. Overall, great place to eat, will return.

Place has really good steak. Really good. I went twice while I was in town. It's is a bit cramped but that's expected in Aspen. The service was pretty quick. The sides are so good too mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts are great.

We have been eating at Steakhouse No. 316 every visit to Aspen and it never disappoints. It's small but cozy inside. Classic steakhouse ambiance. Service was great and steaks were cooked well. Surprisingly the prices are a good value compared to other places in area.

Cute little house that's actually a steakhouse. I like the dark mood lighting and interior decor a lot. We had 2-3 servers, which was great, fast, and friendly. Our server recommended the scallops and shrimp bisque. The shrimp bisque and scallops were amazing! I like that the shrimp bisque tasted homemade and had the perfect amount of thickness to it. I can't explain what was all on the scallops appetizer, but it was pretty amazing as well. We were also served some complimentary delicious bread. We got the sea bass and wagyu flat iron steak. Ironically, everything was delicious and the Wagyu steak was just okay. It was not the most tender, but the flavor was still perfect. I like that it was blackened with peppercorn. I ordered a side of truffle bone marrow butter which was fantastic, but the steak itself was good without the truffle butter also. The sea bass was fantastic. It was very buttery and tender. If I had to choose between the Wagyu flat iron and sea bas, I'd choose the sea bass. I recommend coming here and I would definitely come back next time I'm in Aspen.

We wanted an upscale meal in Aspen to celebrate Father's Day and Steakhouse 316 was the perfect choice. You first make a reservation via their website one month before your desired date (and secure reservation with a credit card - beware they have a 48hr cancellation policy) or try to get lucky and just show up but we reserved way in advance. Parking is just street parking. It's pay if you park close and free if you dont mind a short 2 block walk. The restaurant is very upscale but if you eat outside on their nice patio it's more low-key. Inside the restaurant the ambiance is the fine-dining dimly lit high end steakhouse. The service was attentive without being obtrusive and out beverages were always full. Everything we ordered was delicious: APPETIZERS Octopus Cafreal appetizer - outstanding! Perfectly cooked with 2 delicious sauces. Jumbo lump crab cakes - super flavorful! Branding iron onion rings - they came prettily presented in a tower and tasted good. Hard to mess up onion rings though. ENTREES 8oz filet mignon - we each ordered it cooked medium rare and it was cooked PERFECTLY We also got the blue cheese crust on top which I highly recommend since it was delicious!! SIDES Potato's Pave - this was their take on scalloped potatoes but it was our least favorite out of everything we ate tonight. It is little cubes of layered fried potatoes with béarnaise sauce on top. I wouldn't order it again... Street Corn - delicious and flavorful. DESSERT Key lime pie - very flavorful and we liked the fresh cut kiwi on top Overall we had an amazing meal and will return!

Will start off with saying this is one of the pricier dinners I've ever had, but will confirm that this place is easily top 3 steakhouses I've been to. Service, ambiance, and food were all 5-stars. Left feeling very satisfied, definitely recommend.

We had a reservation that we weren't seated for until like 30 mins or so later, due to the people that were seated not wanting to get up. The Lady that checks the coats was friendly welcoming and allowed me to sit under the heat while we waited Kudos to her. The food I ordered well done steak they brought rare. The crab cakes were good. The hostess removed the steak from my order it tasted like I had literally not the cow the flavor was definitely off, the food was warm at best. I wouldn't return or recommend it's a go at your own risk type deal. Just wasn't for me.

Super cute and small restaurant. Lively bar. Dark lighting. The filet was amazing!! It was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. It didn't need any sauce. Loved our server. Did a good job with recs.

Does anyone who recently dine in this restaurant know if they charge mandatory gratuity for party of 2? I know they didn't have such policy before. Not sure if this policy has been updated.

Never heard of the mandatory gratuity of a party of 2. Usually for parties of 6 or more. To charge this for a party of 2 is ridiculous

Our experience at Meat & Cheese in Aspen was disappointing from beginning to end…read more To start with, the food was mediocre in every sense. The quality did not justify the prices, the flavors were forgettable, and nothing we ordered stood out. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was far worse. My wife accidentally left behind a shopping bag containing a brand new pair of sunglasses she had purchased earlier that day. When she returned to retrieve them, our interaction with a server named Carson was deeply disappointing. Instead of simply confirming ownership in a courteous and professional manner, Carson repeatedly questioned whether the sunglasses were actually hers. He kept emphasizing that they were brand new and worth around $600, making it clear that he found it difficult to believe they belonged to her. It was impossible not to feel that she was being judged based solely on her appearance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with verifying ownership of a valuable item. In fact, we appreciate businesses that take lost property seriously. What is unacceptable is allowing assumptions and stereotypes to influence how customers are treated. One lesson worth remembering is that genuine elegance and long established wealth rarely need to announce themselves. Those who have had the privilege of success across generations often feel no need to advertise it with designer logos or outward displays. True class is reflected in education, humility, confidence, and, above all, in the way people treat others. Ironically, Carson's assumptions said far more about his own judgment than they did about my wife. No customer should ever be made to feel that they need to "look wealthy" in order to be treated with respect. We hope management addresses this issue seriously. The mediocre food was forgettable. Being judged and treated with prejudice is not. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and dignity, regardless of how they are dressed or what assumptions someone chooses to make about them.

There is a sweet deck attached for eating outside, which we took advantage of the first time we went. We got the same things both times, the Thai noodle salad and the tomato soup - both to die for !! So good. The second time we went we also got a cappuccino, which we regret not getting the first time. The staff is welcoming and super nice, the service was extremely fast and each time we were very well taken care of. We found out that Mawas is a Michelin guide restaurant which is hugely notable on how good this place is. You definitely won't regret going to Mawas kitchen.

The place has plenty of history and has been a social spot in Aspen for generations. The Old West vibe is still very much alive, which is rare in a city that has more hipster spots than anything else. My partner and I both enjoyed our cocktails. We sat at the bar, but there were plenty of tables too. Service was decent, if a little inconsistent. Our first server was fine but seemed somewhat checked out, while the second one randomly brought us bar snacks around our second drink (nuts, and they were delicious). Left me wondering why the first server didn't do the same. The cocktails are pricey, $20+ with a 22% gratuity automatically added to the check, but it IS Aspen after all. I called them at 8:30 and they said kitchen is open till 9pm which was fair. We got there at 8:50pm and the hostess looked over to someone who looked like the shift manager and she said "sorry the kitchen is closed". I did not feel like arguing so we just decided to have some pizzas and drinks. That was a big mistake. I ordered what looked like a calzone (pizza that is wrapped) and it was the saltiest dish I've tried. Again we were trying to be mindful and too nice but I think we just went too far for being too nice. I then ordered the other pizza and it was honestly quite mediocre. The waiter was really nice and that's why I'm giving it 1 star otherwise it would be zero for us. They weren't even willing to provide salad. Come on! You can't even make salad in your kitchen? That was just ridiculous. And believe it or not, we had amazing food in every other restaurant we tried in Aspen so this was certainly a one off. My suggestion to the management team is to be honest about your the last call from your kitchen. If you close at 10pm and your kitchen runs till 9pm, you ought to be able to take orders till 9pm. Otherwise, be upfront and shot down kitchen at 8:30pm. Quite disappointed and not even sure if I would ever want to give this place a try.
