    Shredded Beef Rice Bowl

Steam Boys had a pop up at my job through Fooda. The staff were amazing with explaining each dish and even recommending their favorites. I decided on the shredded beef bowl and I'm so happy I did. The beef was sliced thin, but oh so filling. The rice was cooked perfectly. The added green onions and fried egg on top elevated the dish. I had this bowl for lunch and still didn't have room for dinner later. Great meal especially for the price.

Had a seamless takeout experience at Steam Boys. Very spacious interior with plenty of seating. Was not very busy during weekday lunch and pickup was quick.

I ordered the sliced beef rice bowl and WOW. It is so so good! The fried egg on top is a great addition. I ordered it to-go and saw they gave me a soy sauce packet. Trust me, you don't need it! The beef and juices give the whole dish plenty of flavor that the soy sauce is just not necessary! (But if you do enjoy your soy sauce then by all means, go for it ;) ) I also ordered a Thai boba tea and it was a wonderful treat. I'm just sad that I moved away from the neighborhood before knowing they were here. But they are on DoorDash! So I will definitely be hitting them up on there.

The lunch combo is a must here! Plenty of food and delicious dumplings all for a fair price! This location has free parking, cute decor, and nice staff. I recommend stopping by!

If you're looking for some comfort food on a cold night, go to Steam Boys and get the noodle soup! Watch out, the mild is pretty spicy, and I like spice! I always get the beef which has consistently been tender and tasty. This time I also got the spiral cucumber which was really tasty. It might be my favorite thing on the menu, but I love a good cucumber. The staff is always kind. One thing of note. The door takes a minute to close and if it is cold, the air gets in and so it tends to be chilly. Don't sit by the door!

First time trying Steam Boys and I'm already a fan! We ordered a little bit of everything -- pan-seared pork & shrimp dumplings, spicy dumplings, pork soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and the crispy chicken bao bun. The pan-seared dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the spicy dumplings had the perfect kick without being too much. The soup dumplings were warm, juicy, and comforting (highly recommend). The cucumber salad was super refreshing and balanced everything out. My favorite had to be the crispy chicken bao bun -- fluffy, soft bun with crunchy, flavorful chicken inside. Food came out fast, service was friendly, and everything tasted fresh. If you're a dumpling lover, this spot is a must-try!

Happy they are open during this snowstorm and cold times because soup dumplings warm you up perfectly! This restaurant is very inviting and has delicious food and many options. Also love the music they play!

I absolutely love coming to steam boys. I've ordered about half of the items on the menu by now, and I can confidently say that I've enjoyed everything. My favorite that I always come back for is the beef noodle soup. Highly recommend.

Chinese dumplings make for a great snack or you can eat a bunch for a meal. Steam Boys has classic flavors and they are tasty. We always enjoy the boba here. Friedly, laid-back attitude makes for a relaxing meal. Our order was delivered promptly.

Fast casual, go to the counter to order and they bring you the food. Ordered the lunch special, the Taiwanese beef noodle soup was legit and the dumplings were juicy. Too bad it's Friday, Tuesdays are AYCE dumplings! Will come back again when I'm in the area.

It was an interesting restaurant as we walked in. The decor didn't come across as Chinese. I'm glad my daughter was familiar with the place because I would not have known to go to the back counter to order. I tried asking a couple things about the menu but could not understand the worker that well. It seemed that he couldn't understand me either because he initially put in the wrong orders -- my daughter caught it before we paid. Very reasonable prices. I ordered the Roast Duck Noodles with the Marinated Egg added. My daughter got her usual "Build a Bowl" of Chong Qing Broth, Sliced Noodles, Steak and Fried Egg. I thought I had ordered a Shrimp Wonton appetizer, but a bowl of soup arrived. After asking the worker about it, he just kept saying it was soup (I know), so I just left that alone. Overall quite delicious -- very authentic Chinese flavors. Excellent house made noodles. The depth of flavor in the broths was fantastic. The proteins were seasoned nicely and cooked well. The bok choy in my soup still had a nice bite. The fried egg was crispy on the edges and perfectly runny in the middle. Unfortunately, I found the marinated egg too salty. Service was minimal -- after ordering, the food comes out and that's it. If you need something, you have to get up to ask. No one checks in. The area wasn't busy when we arrived, so parking was very easy right in front. I'm told it does get tough during peak times. I would definitely return for the food, not the service.

I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night. Only a minute after ordering the soup we were asked to go ahead and order our main dishes. My pad thai was good, but there was nothing particularly special about it. I had just started eating my food when the server asked us if we wanted to-go boxes and how we were splitting the check.
