Boneless spare ribs w/ regular fried rice. Walked in and ordered. Took about 10 mins to get my order. I wish they would bring back the bone-in spare ribs instead of boneless. -Boneless Spare ribs: tasted exactly what I imagined it would be. You get that Char siu flavor just like how it would taste when you've ordered a bbq pork steamed bun at a dim sum restaurant. Meat was tender and not dry. - rice: I opted for the regular fried rice. But will prolly opt for pork fried next time for a little more flavor. Portion size: pretty good portion for $11 bucks + tip. Can easily say I will definitely have leftovers for a second meal. Not that any Chinese restaurants serve BBQ spare ribs as an entree. Happy that they do. Definitely will be back!

Second time having this place. Didn't think it wa good to begin with but I tried it again to make sure. I asked for shrimp fried rice extra spicy... I'm not sure if they didn't hear me or what but the spice level was a 0/10. As far as flavor and quality I will say this is probably some of the worst chinese fried rice I have ever heard. I'm from Texas. Total was 10.81

Well, it isn't perfect...but I think we found our local Chinese delivery spot! After an exhaustive and disappointing search as transplants, Best Wok has stepped into the top spot for us...at least on our end of town! We ordered recently and the whole process, delivery and food were all top notch. Our order consisted of wonton soup, sesame chicken and house lo mein...all absolutely delicious! Wonton soup is normally the item I judge a spot off of and I am super pumped that Best Wok has some great wonton soup! The broth is flavorful, the dumplings are in copious and packed full! The egg roll was a true egg roll and not a spring roll, which is great! Apparently mixing those two up is a thing for a few spots around here. Sesame Chicken was great, sauce was sticky, smooth and tangy and the rice was pork fried, which is a nice touch. And finally the Lo Mein was solid! Delivery, while expensive due to the fees, was quick...arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule! I think next time we may try pick up to avoid the fees as our $22 order quickly became $38. Overall, super pumped to have found Best Wok! We will certainly be enjoying grub from here for as long as are in this area of Nashville!

I did a quick lunch run today and it was surprisingly delicious. I ordered one order of spring rolls and shrimp fried rice with extra vegetables. They had it ready when I arrived and it was very delicious.

    78. Sweet and Sour Chicken

The food was some of the best we've ever had from Chinese takeout. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, general Tso's chicken, chicken lo mein, and it came with two containers of white rice. The sweet and sour chicken was perfectly fried and fresh, and the chicken inside wasn't dried out at all. Traditional sweet and sour sauce. Some of the best chicken lo mein I've ever had. The noodles were perfectly cooked, not mushy, and the flavor was amazing. There also wasn't a ton of veggies overpowering the noodles, very well balanced. The general tso's, which we ordered medium, was very delicious and not spicy! (I'm pregnant so I can't handle spice) it was perfectly well rounded with not a single thing I disliked. I've been craving Chinese so bad and this exceeded our expectations! The service was fast and kind, and the restaurant had a traditional Chinese ambiance. New favorite place!

    Veggie chow mein.

We got hooked up for under $25! Here's the deal, all of the food we had was surprisingly good. The orange chicken was flavorful, the chow mein wasn't salty and had tons of veggies, dumplings = bomb, and the beef and broccoli was delicious! Who knew Chinese food from a small strip mall would be so tasty. Their COVID measures here are on point as well. You can either walk up and place an order at their makeshift socially distant window or call ahead to order food. They do all of the communicating via microphone through plexiglass and if you place an order via Grub Hub, they ask you to show your phone with GH order number, then match it to your food order. This small locally owned Chinese food restaurant is doing a stellar job at contact-free food delivery. The larger chains should take notes!

Wow this place have taken covid seriously! There is a window that they drop your food and everyone is wearing masks and gloves. The lady was very friendly, they have the square with tap and go. Okay for the food the general tso was delicious! Crunchy right amount of sweetness. The fried rice is undercooked. I would give it another try. The crab rangoon was delicious! And they are huge and crispy goodness!

Sesame Chicken with steamed vegetables and unseasoned rice.

I got three things: 1) Sesame chicken entree with rice and broccoli. The chicken was cooked well and the sauce was fine, but was overly sweet, which is odd for sesame chicken. The fried rice it comes with isn't fried rice; it's cooked rice with chucks of the cubed carrots you get from the freezer aisle in the grocery store. It was unseasoned and I had to completely preseason and recook it before it was worth eating. Otherwise it's just plain (yellowed?) rice and unseasoned vegetables... 2) Beef Lo Mein. The beef was well seasoned and only a couple of pieces had gristle. The lo mein noodles and vegetables, like the rice, just weren't seasoned. It was odd. Lots of oil, but not much else there. The vegetables and lo mein were cooked but the noodles were soggy and bland. 3) Wonton Egg Drop Soup. Plenty sesame oil for sure. Honestly, getting wontons for delivery was not smart, as they're going to get soggy...which is what they were. Besides that, the taste was pretty good! I won't be getting it again, but if you're looking for cheap delivery and you want the idea of Chinese, go for it. It's a coin toss.

Pandemic take out- they don't play no jokes on Covid which makes me feel safe too

OMG THIS IS THE SAFEST COVID TAKE OUT SPOT IN NASHVILLE!! It was a cold Monday morning and I was driving by and I'm glad I stopped here to get take out for lunch. I'm so proud of this restaurant and it's owner for adhering strict Covid protocol while the majority of Nashville restaurants act like Covid doesn't exist. You order and pick up by the window so you never have to go inside of the restaurant to get potential exposure to Covid. Their lunch portions are HUGE and price is cheap. Need I say more?

We ordered chicken and mushroom dumplings, hot and sour soup, and some boba teas. If you visit Dumpling House, you absolutely have to order the chicken and mushroom dumplings! They are hands-down the star of the menu. The dumpling skins are rolled perfectly thin with just the right amount of chew. Inside, the filling is incredibly flavorful and savory--the earthy richness of the mushrooms blends beautifully with the tender, juicy chicken. Every single bite is packed with delicious, piping-hot broth. You can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients instead of just heavy seasoning. The dipping sauce complements them perfectly, too.The service was fast, the staff was welcoming, and the entire dining experience was wonderful. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

I'd definitely recommend dining in - we went in on a rainy Thursday around 6 and it was already packed, but a table for two opened within about five minutes. Service is great and food hits the table quickly. We started with the fresh rolls, chicken and cabbage dumplings, and the tom kha. We added a side of peanut sauce, which was a game changer for the fresh rolls. The tom kha was a little tart for my taste, but was loaded with veggies that were cooked perfectly. The dumplings were super tender, and the fresh rolls are my favorite in town! For entrees, we got the pad thai and pad see-ew with rice noodles. Both absolutely delish, and we loved how the pad see-ew was prepared simply and traditionally with Chinese broccoli. Those portions are not to be reckoned with... we ended up taking two boxes full of noodles home! Their sticky rice with mango was our favorite bite of the night. The rice was the PERFECT texture, in a not-too-sweet sauce, topped with toasted coconut, and the juiciest, sweetest mango. What a treat.

I have eaten Thai from Washington state to Florida and everything in between. I always get chicken pad Thai as a barometer to compare between restaurants. I can't believe it but the very best Thai restaurant I have experienced is in Frankfort Ky. I'm spoiled so even a "good" experience isn't going to rank as high. This is a really cute restaurant and from the parking lot I knew it was a local favorite. Chicken and cabbage dumplings were excellent. Pad Thai was good, as mentioned. The sauce wasn't very flavorful and while I like onions, this dish had A LOT. Red and green onion and not consistently chopped. The green onions were very large, fibrous pieces that were difficult to eat. I also like the egg component but this dish had a lot of egg and seemed to be a large filler. We also had the pad see ew with chicken. Also good, but not outstanding. The service was top notch and the restrooms were very clean.
