The mess: Boyfriend whom I love dearly comes home and does not realize he has tracked in a black tar-like substance. Immediately after he sees what he has done, he proceeds to furiously clean the spots with tons of carpet cleaner and makes the spots look like oil spills! He pretreated and did a great job. He also gave me a very fair quote for my ceramic tile and there was no time like the present, so he cleaned that too. It really looks great.
