I felt like I had done my homework (research) to select one of the best, if not the best, carpet & rug cleaners in Metro Atlanta. And yes, my selection turned out to be fantastic! From the initial phone call I made to the company, Caryn was quite impressive with her knowledge about the carpet cleaning industry. Her upbeat personality and passion about the business, helped me make my decision to utilize their services. ARRIVAL - The technicians arrived on time (actually, they called me beforehand and asked if they could come earlier than the scheduled timeframe (great for me, because usually this call from various other companies is the opposite --technicians stating they would be later than scheduled). REPRESENTATION - Now, here is where companies set themselves apart from others. People coming to your home to provide a service speaks volume about the company they represent. In this case, I was blessed to have technicians Floyd and Steven. Both of these men were exceptionally nice, talented and knowledgeable about carpet and rug cleaning. We did a complete walk-thru and they determine the best strategy to move forward to complete the job. SERVICE- At one point, I went to check on them and discovered Steven was down on his knees cleaning my baseboards! Wow!!! No other carpet cleaning company I've used in the past has ever cleaned my baseboards. When I asked Steven about it, he gently stated, 'this is just part of our service!' I was truly amazed at how both of these guys worked and the dedication they demonstrated. Later on, Floyd was on his knees cleaning some areas as well even though their equipment was top-notch, these guys didn't mind doing whatever it takes to ensure my areas were clean. The pet areas they cleaned were superb as well. PRICE - I guess the old expression is true, you get what you pay for! If you want a $99 carpet cleaning job, that is exactly what you will get and I can assure you, you will not be satisfied (been there, done that, got the T-shirt...lol)! The quote explained to me before the job began was fair. I was even more satisfied with the price after the job was completed because of the quality I received. My carpeted areas are new again! THANK YOU - I can't express enough how grateful I am for the service I received. In today's competitive and challenging environment, it feels good to know I selected a company based on their quality of service opposed to the price quoted. Yes, price is important, but at the end of the day, it is the overall service I will remember moreso than the price I paid.

When it comes to chimney-cleaning services they're not certified inspectors and will not keep their word on services they promised. They were late, did not adhere to pandemic safety standards, were rude, charged higher fees at the last minute, and did a lousy job that left my house smokey after using it. INTERACTION * The person I spoke with said it'll be a "level 2 " service (pretty standard across the industry). They quoted me 280. * Technician was an hour and half late without giving me any updates. * Raphael came to my house, to which I asked him to wear booties over his shoes. He said he'll be in/out the house a lot so I compromised as long as it was limited to the chimney area. Later he wore his dirty shoes through my hallway and into the bathroom and demanded a bottled water to drink too. I could have denied, but I tried to show hospitality but he didn't reciprocate. * Because he blocked the driveway in, I had to call people to get a chimney grate, which I didn't know I needed. Many times he would take off his mask to talk to me or to his phone which he was late on catching up on paper work. If you're at my house, I expect you to provide 100 percent focus on the job. After looking at my supplies and telling me to get a grate, when it came, he evaded testing out the fire by saying I also needed a fire starter log. * Cleaning took about 15 minutes -- seemed pretty quick for what he kept saying was a "really bad" chimney. I asked the state of the chimney because it bothered me that it was such a quick job. He told me he's not a certified inspector, and he's not doing the video inspection. * After asking about the quoted 280 over on the phone, he decides to charge an extra 100 cause my chimney was "really bad." ... if you're able to get the job done in 15 minutes all while letting the machine do its job while you walk away to fill out paperwork, I don't understand how that could be so strenuous on labor. * After he was gone, I called up the company to report his behavior to a manager, to which I spoke with Alex. He offered no compensation or discounts for all their shortcomings. He only said "I'll talk to him." I've never been so angry at a company or technician for so many reasons. I was desperate to get my chimney working. Because other companies busy up for a month, I decided to give these folks a try, and I regret this so much. They're the only company to make me feel angry at myself for giving them the benefit of the doubt. They're not even worth calling back to correct the issues they've done to my chimney, my money, and my time. NOTE: Pointing out that most of their "perfect" reviews are coming from 1-review people. Approximately a year ago I had used A Plus - I was in the hospital for emergency life saving surgery - and due to my health - I was not allowed to leave the hospital and had to leave my dogs alone for almost 24hrs - please understand - my leaving my dogs was NOT due to neglect - I was a day - 2 days at the most from dying - my situation was CRITICAL and the Drs stated if I left the hospital there was a very STRONG possibility that I could die driving home to get my dogs - my fear of dying was overwhelming to say the least and the thought of possibly dying driving home to get my dogs and possibly injuring/killing anyone in a car accident was not something I could risk... Unfortunately, one of my friends was not able to get to my dogs until the following day and she was aware of how dire my situation was - Needless to say, I knew that my carpeting was going to be hit with the dogs 'accidents'... About a week after my surgery I started to call around for a carpet cleaning company that would be willing to do the work without gauging me in the pocketbook... I found Alex at APlus - He was extremely kind and compassionate to my situation - He was willing to work with me in every aspect - I had never forgotten... And when I FINALLY came home - my carpets looked incredible and there was ABSOLUTELY NO 'ODOR' lingering... It was a HUGE relief to me! I reached out to Alex again, literally today, regarding a cleaning... He remembered me from the initial job and from previous conversations... How many companies will 'remember' you? Now I will not go into what we've discussed and agreed to... But, I will say this... For a company in today's era that is willing to GO ABOVE and BEYOND and TRULY helps a person and put's the customers needs before their own profits - Speaks VOLUMES... I'm old school and you are only as good as your word, a handshake means something... I can only go by the work he had done for me previously and I was very happy with results... But, the absolute generosity in helping a person in my situation, (I'm sorry I do not wish to elaborate), gives me renewed faith that there are still Companies like APlus who truly care about their Clientele... He was able to accommodate my short-notice request and crazy work schedule, and communicated well and clearly throughout the scheduling process. He showed up on time and finished when he projected he would. I was favorably impressed with his professionalism as well as the very reasonable pricing for his services! I waited five days after work was done to write this so any temporary effect would pass...you know how sometimes carpets look great right after while drying, then a few days later when dry, stains reappear and you see the work was shoddy - surely NOT the case with this work!) He also cleaned a sofa and dining chair cushions for me which look brand new afterwards. I went from thinking about replacing the carpets in the just-acquired home, to being able to spend those dollars on other projects, thanks to the outstanding workmanship of the cleaning job!
