Pros: delicious hot and fresh food. When they are on their game the food is on point. Cons: the seared boa's are fantastic. Why is this a con? The last few times I have ordered seared pork boa they have come out perfectly cooked on the outside but raw in the middle. I enjoy medium rare food and am generally fine with medium rare pork, however the Boa's are ground pork, which should not be medium rare. I have been told the reason is that the boa's are made offsite and finished in the restaurant. Again, I'm not a picky eater, but I cannot get behind cool raw pork. Each time I bring the food back they take care of it immediately. However, the consistency of being served raw, ground pork is concerning. I'll continue to come back here because the food is delicious. However, I'd recommend paying close attention to the first bite or two of the boa. read more

Tried this place last night with my wife and boy. We tried a lot...maybe too much . I had the beef noodle soup. My wife had the pork dumplings and my son had the seared beef bao. We also shared an order of soup dumplings and steamed pork bao. The noodle soup was awesome. I ordered mild, and it was pretty darn spicy. The baby bok choi and slices of beef in the soup were fantastic. The soup dumplings were so unique. Super hot...temperature hot. Oh so tasty. The food here is really good overall. I've been ordering food from here for the last 8 months on a very regular basis and it's always a great option. The seared veggie boa is cooked to perfection and the boba tea is killer. The veggie noodle soup always has super fresh bok choy and broccoli. Never had a complaint ordering from here, and the staff is super nice/helpful. We went Sunday after church at about noon. There was a short line & ordering went fine. The food was delivered in phases, not all at once. One of the workers came over to our table to announce he really F&@?ed up and he need us to repeat our order. The rest of the food was eventually delivered to the table inaccuracy & still no drinks. Our trip to Steam Boys takes the top spot for the worst value food product we have ever wasted money on. Hands down. Period. The menu online vs. the menu IRL are different, but I digress; the wife and I both ordered the "5 pork dumpling soup" thinking we would get 5 dumplings in a "soup". I understand that sometimes food isn't just about the food, but also about the "experience". Nothing about going to this tired strip-mall joint was memorable, in fact I wish I could just forget it. When I order pork dumplings, I expect pork dumplings. What I got however was about 70% noodle stuffed with 25% hot water and 5% filling; the tiniest bit of filling they could get away with skimping out on. I probably had less than a tablespoon or pork between all 5 dumplings, just hot water and bland noodle. I had the hunch I was gonna be disappointed when the server took forever to explain that the dumplings were filled with "soup". "Oh so mostly they are just filled with hot water and hardly any actual pork?" The food should speak for itself. You should not have to explain it. Huge let down. read more
