There was a 45 minute wait which is common in Branson on Saturday, but it was beautiful outside and there was good seating that overlooked the city. The kids were able to run around and play while we waited. All of the food that we ordered was good and it came out quick once we were seated. We all finished our plates. It was a Saturday during the fall so it was busy! They shuffled everyone through as fast as they could but it was a little chaotic because you have to order then take your seat. I wish they waited on you from your table... but regardless the food was very good and the coffee was good too! I got the stuffed hash browns as did my husband. Was expecting a sit down and order restaurant. Not their fault it wasn't. I would not have gone there if I'd known. Order and pay at counter. Not a long wait for food and it was good! Nice view, but very loud in there especially when the kids find out how their voices echo under the sunroom roof. Never got a coffee refill. Ordered the Levi's Pile Up. The gravy was fabulous! And the hash browns somehow managed to be perfectly crispy underneath all that gravy and eggs. We also ordered a regular pancake. It was also very tasty. The perfect breakfast for two people to split. The coffee took a while to come out, but that wasn't a problem because they were very busy. They had us walk up and order that helped speed up the process of getting our food. Kudos to the staff! They asked for no tip! And you just can't beat that view. We waited 15 minutes at around 8:30am to get in and order, once we ordered and sat down it was maybe another 15 minutes, so not too bad for how busy it was! This was an excellent find! It's a super cute location! The staff is super friendly and nice. We got there early ish on a Saturday and within 10 minutes it was packed so be ready to wait. But it is worth the wait! My son had the chocolate chip pancake and it was huge! One was plenty, he washed it down with the "best hot chocolate" ever! He said it was rich and creamy and loved it! Hub had the "Big Daddy" and it was true to its name. It was more than enough and he said it was excellent. He had the black coffee and said it was perfect, and had a great kick! I had the special, which was the ham and cheese scramble, it was good! Also loved the biscuits and gravy-perfectly spiced! I also had their "twilight mocha", it was so smooth and perfectly blended! My daughter and I went and got an assortment of different things and they were all amazing!! Our absolute favorites were the chicken and dumplings, the breakfast quiche, the chicken salad, and the biscuits and gravy, but the rest of what we had were also winners for sure and we loved those as well, we got a chicken Caesar salad wrap, pasta salad, a pancake, a slice of french toast, scrambled eggs with cheese, and bacon as well. We wanted a good, quick breakfast before heading home from our trip to Branson, and the reviews for Steamy Joe Cafe led us here. It wasn't that quick, but it sure was good! The chaos of Steamy Joe's is something to experience. You order at the counter, and they bring your order to the table. Which makes the counter pretty hectic as people are waiting for to-go orders as well. However, everyone is super friendly and helpful. We had a group of 6 people, and everyone's order was perfect. From a simple avocado toast to the full "big breakfast", it all reached the table hot and fresh. Everyone enjoyed their food and the various coffees. 5 stars on the food. The staff was also very friendly and very busy! Prices were a little expensive, but isn't everything now? I thought $4 to add hashbrowns to a breakfast burrito was a little much. But we would go back again tomorrow if we could. Try it out. This is the best restaurant experience of our trip. We will go again on our next visit to Branson. read more

I hate writing bad reviews, but...two in our party ordered double burgers, which we pointed out when they came out as single. Both the cashier and manager came by to specifically point out that they only charged us for single burgers even though the apparently new cashier was explaining to the manager that she heard us order double and then didn't know which key to press. All would have been fine if they simply offered to fix it, and we would have been happy to pay, but it left a bad taste when they literally didn't even think to offer to address it and thought it was just fine since we had been charged correctly for the food we received, even though it wasn't what we ordered. The kids also said their breakfast was terrible, and the youngest was counting the blueberries on her pancake with a disappointed look on her face. Luckily, our last dish just made it off the grill when the entire restaurant lost power. Everyone left disappointed. read more
