I attempted to return it immediately, but after waiting approximately 1.5 hours, I was told the system was down and to come back another day. On my next visit, after another lengthy wait, I was told to drive to AT&T to have the phone unlocked. AT&T informed me they could not help because the device was sold and controlled by Best Buy. I then returned to Best Buy and was told to wait 48 hours and try again. Over the course of multiple visits, my family spent well over 10 hours trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward exchange for a defective phone. The final visit alone took approximately 5 hours to complete the return, replacement, and data transfer. What is most disappointing is not that the phone was defective--manufacturing defects happen. The issue is the repeated misinformation, multiple trips, excessive wait times, and lack of ownership in resolving the problem. My wife and I have two young children, and the amount of time required to fix a problem we did not create was unreasonable. I have attempted to raise these concerns directly but have not received a meaningful response. I'm posting this review in hopes that someone from Best Buy management or customer relations will review this situation and explain how this level of customer service is acceptable.

I took the computer in, and, after determining that the hard drive was no longer good, Ben then proposed a solution, which he worked on fast and efficiently, reassuring me that he was on top of things. But the most eye catching aspect of this business is the personal touch and first rate customer service, patience and communication. Ben takes the time to carefully explain every issue to people...shall we say, far less computer literate than he is. This is a most welcome perk in an age when customer service, courtesy and communication seem to be completely lost on this generation in any given field of business or service. That alone convinced me to consider Ben for all my future computer issues.

I was panic-stricken because I had work deadlines to meet, so I began a search for help as quickly as possible. Ben at MT Computers in Vista was the first place I reached after leaving messages for several others. He told me not to worry and to bring my laptop over to MT Computers, which I did. After updating me with his plan for a course of action and price estimates, he fixed the problem, updated Windows 10 to Windows 11, and ordered a replacement battery. He returned my laptop to me in less than 24 hours, which I really appreciated, and told me that he would let me know when the replacement battery came it. Meanwhile, I could work on my laptop. The replacement battery came in a few days later, I ran over to his shop, and he replaced the battery in about 10 minutes while I waited. However, the battery would not charge up as it should, so I replaced the power adaptor to rule that out (they're cheap), but still the battery would not charge. When I let Ben know, he ordered another new battery, and installed it. Still the battery would not charge, so he ordered a third battery, this time from another vendor. I ran my laptop over one more time, he replaced the battery again in about 10 minutes, and the third battery was a charm! Ben was very kind, reassuring, pleasant, and patient with me. I highly recommend Ben and MT Computers to anyone in the Vista area in need of prompt and efficient computer servicing with great communication and a smile. Thanks again, Ben and MT Computers .     TL;DR: Daniel is a great computer tech and a really nice, helpful and knowledgeable guy :)…read more I brought my PC in after the motherboard shorted out on me. I was originally going to go the RMA route with Costco where I got the PC bundle from originally, as it was still under warranty. But Costco insisted they reserve the right to unilaterally delete all the data on my PC during the free fix. And backing up the data myself at that point would mean voiding my warranty with Costco Daniel was really helpful with explaining the list of options I could go down -- whether it was just for him to backup my data in a way to retain my Costco warranty and then have Costco fix the motherboard for free -- or have Daniel do a semi-rebuild of my PC, replacing the motherboard with something that isn't just going to crap out in another year or two like the first one. I went with the latter, and I'm glad I did. And Daniel was way quicker with the turnaround than I expected, got me my PC back in a week, just before they closed for the weekend. I also got a free month of their tech support service with the purchase. Great shop, would recommend! (assuming my PC holds up for years to come, which I feel very confident it will)

    I brought my old computer in to Laptops Plus to have all the data moved to my new computer…read more There were a number of serious issues between getting the data from the old computer software into the newer applications of my new computer. The fix turned out to be very complex and was a lot longer than anticipated. Daniel , who helped me,stuck with the job until it was done. The job probably took twice the time but Laptops Plus did not ask more money from me. The fix was perfect , and I am so grateful to Daniel Defnitely five star work.

From the moment we walked in, Eddie greeted us with professionalism and genuine care. He quickly got us onto the Genius Bar waitlist and took the time to listen to our situation without judgment. What truly stood out was his ability to calmly explain how malware works and what risks we might be facing--it immediately put us at ease. Eddie carefully walked us through the process, checked the laptop thoroughly, and shared the appropriate tools to ensure there was no infection. The relief we felt after learning everything was safe is hard to put into words. His kindness, patience, and expertise turned what could have been a very upsetting experience into one where we felt supported and reassured.     You do your customers a massive disservice…read more Treat it exactly like a car: 1. I Drop off car/product 2. YOU Fix 3. YOU Call me to come get it. Inefficient and backwards. Hours-long waits instead of just dropping off your product. Apple makes top tier products but their CS and this whole process is an abysmal failure. Jobs rolling in his grave. Very inattentive staff. Sluggish 'check in' process. I loathe coming here. Avoid if you can.
