Easy to find, roomy, really clean, and decent Pizza. I can't really rate the service since it was pretty much self service with the Pizza, but I don't mind that at all. The Pizza was pretty good cooked great and flavorful, the beer cheese was probably the best i have had so creamy and amazing flavor, but the breadsticks were way over cooked and bitter. Overall we will probably give it another try. read more

Steel City was Middletown historically. Nice nod to the past. It's a carry out adjacent to NEW Ales brewing. You order and pay there and they text you when it's ready. They are 12 inch pizzas. I really enjoyed mine with actual fresh garlic on it. The ingredients were fresh. You can watch it go into the fired pizza oven too. read more

Sorry no pictures. We were too hungry and gobbled the pizza and pretzel bites down before I thought about the review! :). Anyway we really enjoyed the pizza, the crust is very tasty and their beer cheese dipping sauce is some of the best I've ever had. They were slammed due to March madness going on at the Ale House next door so service was a bit slow but not overly slow. We're very please with our experience and will be returning often! read more

Wow! Best pizza I have had in Ohio! Traditional Neapolitan wood fired pizza done correctly! Perfect dough with real Italian flour and charred just right on the bottom and edges! Fresh strong cheese with great flavor and bite! The dough was soft and chewy just after the initial crisp chomp and perfect bubbles throughout. The sauce is hearty up front with a nice sweet aftertaste with fresh and homemade ingredients A very well done pizza that is meticulously crafted by a pro! Do yourself a favor and try them! It shares a spot with a brewery if you want a beer. The service was friendly and impeccable my only issue is the price is a little high, but great quality isnt cheap so it's worth the treat! read more

Some of the best, most innovative pizzas you'll find anywhere. Wood fired tastes so good. Their meatballs - maybe better than mom's. And being able to walk through a door into a craft brewery to eat your pizza with a beer or other beverage - can't get much better than that. A winning combination!! Went there again last night. Place is a great. Hard to find good places to eat in Middletown. If you're looking for a good pizza this is it.

First time getting food while here Tuesday night. Came for music bingo at the adjoining New Ales Brewery, where we sat and also enjoyed a pint. The pizza was delicious- quality toppings and and the crust was excellent! Also ordered the sausage and arugula salad featuring Gorgonzola cheese as well - so fresh and delicious! Excellent pizza and beer selection was top notch. Appreciated the atmosphere and the ingredients that go into the pizzas. Not to mention the wood fired oven, you can smell the wood outside. The place was busy and the music only made the experience better. If you're seeking a cheap run of the mill pizza, this may not be the best place, stick to the chains. I am only giving it a two because the beer is good. The brew I had was very tasty but the pizza is awful and so small. Wood fired pizza is supposed have a flavor that is noticeable. This is bad dough with spray cheese. The location is below average too. Not a fan. read more

The pizza is Neapolitan style- focusing on the just the right blend of ingredients to create the *perfect* bite. Drinks were cold and came in a wide variety. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! We were near Middletown and looking for a bite and fortunately picked the perfect spot! The wood fired pizza was delicious! The Verity pizza with fresh prosciutto was fantastic! Also enjoyed a bowl of beef stew and two other pies (cheese and pepperoni). They have a great line up of beers and old school pops. Had cards, video games and board games for the whole family to enjoy. The owners were super personable and welcoming. We will definitely be back for this hidden gem near downtown Middletown! read more
