Very close to Renaissance festival...we got pizza to go. Called ahead so it was ready and still hot when we got home. Asked for it to be well done ...crust wasn't as thin and crispy as we remembered. First, let me say, I've been watching this place on social media for a while, but it's hard to get up here since it's a 30 minute plus drive from my house. With that said, I decided to make the drive today and all I can say is if you've never been here you need to take the drive and get here. It is small when you walk in, but they allow you to eat in the bar directly behind them, which makes it really nice for comfort and size. I ordered three items and I have to say I will be back. This is some of the best pizza that I have personally ever eaten, and I've been to a lot of pizza places. The service was amazing. My order was taken by the young lady at the counter. The food was delivered to me in the bar by the Owner, and he was a very polite man. The location has seating for maybe 25 or so inside with bathrooms, then you can walk to the bar behind them for soft drinks or drinks as well as and other bar type entertainment. The bar also had a couple of TVs playing sports and was extremely clean and I would be happy just to come to the bar even. I sadly didn't check in at the bar because I didn't see it as a location and by the time I realized it was not there I had already left. I think if I had to choose between the three items I bought, bacon, cheese, breadsticks, or crab, Rangoon, pizza, or the pierogi pie pizza. I would have to choose to just come back and get them again. This is by far one of my favorite pizza places and seriously worth the drive. read more

I've been meaning to come here for over three years after I googled for a crab Rangoon pizza. It was a bit of a hike for me but totally worth it! Most places with specialty pizza in my experience are always eh however Roscoe's is not like that. The employees were super friendly and added to our experience. The bar in the back room is great for hanging out and spacious enough to bring the whole family. I went back in December with other family members before a Christmas event and everyone was impressed! I had heard some good buzz about this place on Chowdown, so even thought it was a 45 minute drive, we decided to check it out on a Tuesday nite. We're glad we did. A little different set up here. You order your food out in front and pay for it, then they give you a number and deliver it to you. Just 2 or 3 tables in front, but much more seating in the other room that has a bar. Laid back atmosphere there with a friendly bartender and reasonable prices. Seems to be a good place for the locals. We had a large deluxe pizza and it was fantastic. The service and overall restaurant was a 10/10, very accommodating and answered any kind of questions we had. The back bar and seating area was equipped with super nice tvs, as well as games to play. The foood....listen, I originally was put on to this place by the mullet guy that reviews food in Ohio. Family raved about all of the pizzas. Pickle Pie is #1 selling pizza. Everyone loved it and some don't really like dill pickles. Crab Rangoon was a party pleaser with the sweet undertone. We tried this pizza place while visiting Waynesville. They are known for their large amount of choices of pizza. We tried the Pierogi and the Supreme. Both tasted good. I didn't like the pizza sauce as it has a hot spice component. Both pizzas were very heavy. For me, this is not a repeat stop because it gave me heartburn not because it was bad but because it was so unhealthy. I suppose this may have to do with my pizza choices. To be honest, there were so many choices it was confusing and hard to choose. Service was good. It was Friday afternoon and it was empty. We decided to take the pizza home so we didn't go in the back to check out the bar and patio. While waiting for our pizza we did get to check out the cemetery across the street. Wow. Where do you start? 100+ pizzas made to order? The crab Rangoon. Is amazing! The BB Gun is a hidden gem. We've been several times and ordered different pizzas. Sticky icky, Elvis, Route 66, crab Rangoon and multiple others. All have been so absolutely delicious!!! The staff is great and there is a huge sign letting you know there is an awesome restaurant behind the doors. The only downside to this place....they aren't closer to our house! We decided to get a Supreme and a Pierogi. Toppings were very plentiful as each pizza weighed a lot. I wasn't crazy about either. The Supreme had spicy sauce that was just not for me and the pizza could have used more cheese. The Pierogi was just ok. Many people like spice and would probably enjoy it but it gave me heartburn. They used to deliver to Lebanon, and one day pulled the rug out from underneath us. I enjoyed the variety of pizzas, and some of the unusual ones. The sandwiches, and the sides, all fantastic. Night and day pizza We tried the new pizza joint in your town this week. We drove all the way from Lebanon because we seen all the hype on Facebook about how great it is. We ordered 3 different small pizzas. Out of the 3 only 1 was cut and the other 2 was WHOLE. Plus all 3 was burnt due to the crust being so thin. The crust was hard as nails it was so burnt. Now because of a negative post this am about this pizza place I chimed in and said I had the same complaints. The owner him self commented back to me saying he wanted to make it right by refunding our money AND replacing our pizza AND deliver to us all the way to downtown Lebanon. I refused his money because he is still learning his company and WILL make mistakes. I picked it up myself because that is a long haul just to deliver a replacement pizza. Our first try was a and we said we would never waste our time or money again. NOW today our second try was a hit with everyone in my house. My husband said a difference of night and day pizza. So if someone has a comment whether positive or negative about an establishment in the little town of Waynesville let it be posted or the owners will not know to fix the problem.
