Pano view from elevated tee box on 2nd par 3 of canyon course

Poor experience. Prepaid $190 for a tee time. 30min uber out into the mountains, nobody was there at bag drop, a couple guys on their phones in the cart return area doing nothing. Walked into pro shop, guys weren't over the top friendly or welcoming. Sold me a range receipt with a code but didn't give much direction, which left me wandering around with my bag looking for where to walk to. Range was packed, had to wait for a spot to hit some balls. Starter seemed overwhelmed with a big tournament that went out immediately before my tee time, but eventually got me in a cart and sent me off to the tee box 1 of Canyons course. My fault to miss the sign pointing to 2nd tee box, so I ended up teeing off on 9th - that was my fault I should have paid more attention. Eventually got through 4 holes in 60 minutes after a combined 40min standing on tee boxes and fairways, and decided to just head back and do something else with my day. Got back to cart return, nobody said a word to me, still some dudes standing around doing nothing, I called an uber and went back to hotel. $300 morning for 6holes of 1hr of golf and I was not impressed. The cart lady was super nice, apologized for the slow play, and was genuinely friendly. Also views were sick, crazy elevation changes and challenging play. Probably will not be back..

This is a great place to host an event for large groups. We came in to celebrate Mother's day and had the champagne brunch, and it was packed with people. The seating area was decorated in purple and floral designs, the workers were attentive but slow in bringing us champagne we requested several times. There was an oyster and shrimp bar that we were excited about and it was really good, there was also a breakfest and meat station with very juicy but fatty roast beef, I had turkey that was really good. They also had a burrito station that I missed out on because the line was crazy long and then a small dessert table inside. As nice as the brunch was, the cost was not worth it at $65+ per person, it was very pricey for the kind of food served, we were expecting something more higher end.

Probably one of the best courses in SoCal! I love the staff always friendly and awesome course conditions. 3 Different 9 Holes so I can always mix it up with the sides I play. I'll be coming here for many more years to come. If you haven't yet come check out this awesome club.

Great experience at this course. We had a large outing here, scramble style. The course is in excellent condition, raked bunkers, nice tee boxes, consistent greens etc. the design of the course is great, just difficult enough to be fun. Friendly staff and a nice vibe in the clubhouse. Recommend it!

The courses are awesome but a little more challenging than I expect which is good. Lots of blind shots and the greens were a bit fast. Really enjoyed the round. We played the ranch and vineyard with is called (meadows) on the gps. The only negative things is for $105 you would expect better carts with GPS and they didn't have that. It took 3 holes and calling the pro shop to figure what to select on the Garmin deal

Nice course! Helpful Staff. 4 stars because their were multiple vehicles in the parking lot that took up two spaces.

This will be straight and to the point with a price point of $165 for the condition of the course in the pictures I think it's very greedy if you are going to do aeration at least give some sort of a discount. I will not be returning. 2 stars because the staff was really nice.

Great golf, great views, great food. Course was in great condition and the food was reasonably priced and decent.

I'm so late writing this review. We had an Amazing experience at Steele Canyon Golf Club. Barry is so kind and ready to make your special day one to remember. We appreciated his attentiveness , calm demeanor, and warm approach to preparing us for our big day. It's was a great planning experience and our wedding was awesome! Our Harry Potter theme really came together. Thank you Barry!

This course is nestled a small valley with mountain backdrop surrounding you. It is a great course for those just getting into golf with 9 holes ranging from distances of 80 yards to the longest at around 170 yards. The fairways, greens and tee box were all really well maintained. Highly recommend playing a round on the Pine Glen 9 hole course for those looking to get some playing time but don't want to commit to 18 holes. It is also a very beginner friendly course and a very walkable course if you don't want to rent a golf cart. Singing Hills Golf Club has a wonderful facility with plenty of parking, driving range, putting area, pro shop and restaurant on site.

My group recently had an extremely unpleasant and unacceptable experience at Singing Hills Golf…read moreCourse, specifically inside the pro shop, due to the behavior of an employee named Trevor. While checking in for our tee time, a member of our family who holds a Black Card with Sycuan Casino Resort was present. Another member of our party simply suggested contacting the casino host to ask about a potential complimentary round of golf, which is a completely reasonable and common suggestion for Black Card members who spend significant money with Sycuan. Trevor immediately responded in an aggressive and hostile manner. He raised his voice and told our group member that they "didn't know what they were talking about." His tone was confrontational, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Instead of calmly explaining policy or offering assistance, he chose to belittle a guest in front of others and continued displaying a negative attitude toward our entire party. There is absolutely no excuse for customer service staff especially in a hospitality and golf environment to speak to paying guests in such a disrespectful and abrasive way. This was not a misunderstanding or simple miscommunication. This was blatant poor behavior and a clear lack of professionalism. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that every other employee we have interacted with at the pro shop has been courteous, helpful, and respectful. Trevor's behavior was a stark contrast and reflects very poorly on the standards that guests expect from a Sycuan-affiliated property. Guests who spend substantial money and support the Sycuan brand deserve to be treated with respect not spoken down to or yelled at. Trevor's attitude was inappropriate, unacceptable, and damaging to the overall customer experience. Frankly, if this is how he treats guests, his position in a customer-facing role should be seriously reevaluated. This experience left our entire group disappointed and frustrated, and it is not the level of service we expect from a property associated with Sycuan . The black card member will communicate this to his host.

The location is really nice because there are a lot of people around and it's pretty secure as it is away from the traffic in the street. You have to be careful because there is horse poop sometimes frequently on the trail pathways. Sometimes you also will find that people don't pick up after their dogs and so just be careful to not step in any dog poop as well. They really have done a great job with maintaining this trail around the golf course. The path goes from behind the CV Bonita Branch library all the way around and behind Jack-in-the-Box and Better Buzz Coffee. Continuing on, there is also a new bridge section that has been put up within the last 5 years, which is a nice transition over the small pond that exists near the end of the course. As you continue around past the bridge, you approach the back of some homes and backyards, and then the Rohr Park. The trail actually goes all the way through the park and back to the horse corrals, then back around Central Avenue. Once you turn from Central back to Bonita Road, you're on the home stretch. This is a 3 mile walk when you take one trip around this course trail. It is refreshing and nice and there are a lot of people that walk it so make sure that you get a chance to enjoy it.

After we had already paid, the starter, Jim, stopped our group and told us that a friend who was accompanying us on foot would need to pay the full green fee as well as additional fees for a cart and clubs. This was particularly frustrating because he was recovering from a broken back and only intended to walk the course. Jim then approached other members of our group and informed them that each player needed to have a full set of clubs or they would not be allowed to play. These requirements were not communicated before payment and felt unnecessarily rigid. Overall, the experience left us with the impression that the staff was more focused on maximizing charges than providing a welcoming customer experience. We were simply looking for an enjoyable and affordable round of golf, but the way these issues were handled made the experience very disappointing.
