Paradise endeavors to take care of me. The people are professional. I trust their knowledge, recommendations and mechanics. I have dealers that are closer to my home, but I make the trip to Paradise to get the service I need. Once, I had an expensive part put on my bike (a cam chain tensioner), and had forgotten I had also put in a high output oil pump. When I when to upgrade to a new cam, I thought I needed the oil pump, but when they found my new pump, the kept my newer pump, and didn't charge me for the part I didn't need. Definitely a great place to buy a Harley! I visited here with my friend and since she knows the service manager Jon Allen we were able to get a tour of the service department. I didn't take any photos but I can describe and state that this location is very organized and there were several very friendly and quite knowledgeable service members working on various Harleys. It's astonishing how many Harleys are dropped off here for customization work as well as routine service. Jon Allen's got a great crew and they are friendly. This Paradise location has a lot of cool merchandise (t-shirt, jackets, hats, helmets, footwear, etc.) as well for purchase. I am always amazed when I visit a Harley-Davidson store to see the vast array of motorcycles to choose from. There are new as well as used motorcycles for purchase: 1. adventure touring 2. cruiser 3. grand american touring 4. sport 5. trike They even have events every month for customers to attend. Well, it certainly didn't take long before I had to update my review. Sadly... I've been very consistent over the years that Beaverton Harley, Destination Harley and now Paradise Harley is a solid zero star operation. People understand that when a business becomes so radioactively toxic that no one wants to do business with them (think cable and phone companies, for example) the Marketeers simple change the name. So for the paultry cost of printing new letterhead a truly lousy company can wipe the slate clean, assuming that people have very short memories which they often do. This dealership is marking up motorcycles by ~ $7,000 over MSRP even though they still have a glut of 2022 models sitting around collecting dust. Anyone paying (or financing) that much negative equity in what is essentially a weekend toy can't be too bright. So I show up today to buy some parts to rebuild something that would not need to be rebuilt if it was designed properly. Harley Davidson claims they assemble "premium" motorcycles but the fact is, there is nothing premium about them. The MoCo cuts corners at every turn, happy to save five cents on a unit at the cost of reduced reliability. So long as something doesn't break or wear out until the warranty expires, H-D is happy. And this particular assembly would likely not be covered under warranty anyway under the "normal wear and tear" scam that dealerships rely on. The parts I needed are consumables. Bolts, bushings and so on. The cost to buy these all of these items from their suppliers is probably less than a buck in total. The retail price to the consumer for the whole kit 'n kaboodle is ~ $20-$25. So a reasonable person would think that spending a couple of bucks to stock consumable parts that can be sold for $20-$25 a set would be a smart investment, right? Not in this McDealership's world. They had exactly one part of the lot in stock (the rebuild requires two of that particular item). So zero stars to the dealership for not stocking parts that every Harley out there will need replaced every 20,000 miles or so. And zero stars for the MoCo for using incredibly cheap parts for this mechanism. Instead of using two polymer sleeves/bushings that wear out quickly they could instead use brass bushing that will last pretty much forever. The polymer item probably costs the MoCo five cents when bought in volume. A couple of brass (or copper) bushings would cost a buck or two. Bear in mind that even an entry level Harley costs over $20k out the door. Most are north of $30k and can easily top $50k. So... yet another unneccessarily disappointing experience at this dealership. But on the plus side, they were handing out free hot dogs today and there were a few very cute, scantily dressed girls washing motorcycles there so the trip wasn't a total loss. read more

I called this Dealership to check inventory and interest rates. Obviously they couldn't tell me over the phone. I made arrangements to stop in the next day. I was coming from the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington state (3hours away) and was on my way to Boise Idaho on my 2010 Roadglide. I was met at the front door by Sarah my sales associate. I went to the parts counter and orders the parts for another bike as she hung out with me and we chit chatted a little. The parts and service department are responsible for me coming into the dealership. They rebuilt the front end on a 2001 FXDX as well as worked on my Roadglide. This is a good place to note that the other HD dealer in the area refuses to touch my "old bike" Paradise Parts and Service are knowledgeable and ship my parts to me when they come in. Great customer service and I never felt like I got charged more hours than worked or quoted. Back to Sarah, she asked what bike I was interested in and if I intended on trading in my bagger. She walked out with me and looked at my bike. I told her what I wanted for trade in value. We discussed the price of the new bike and my financing intentions. She was straight forward and asked if I was serious about buying a bike and if I was serious what it would take to get it done today. I thought about it and laid out what I was willing to pay for the bike and interest rate and what I want for my trade in. Honestly I didn't think the Motor Company would be willing to "play ball". When I told Sarah what I wanted she went and did whatever sales people do while you look at the bikes and wait. It took about 2 minutes before I was introduced to Matt who I believe to be the store Manager. He was super friendly and direct. He asked if I was serious about buying a bike because if I was he wanted to see if he could get me what I asked for. I confirmed that yes I was on my way to Boise on either my bagger or possibly the new Lowrider ST that I wanted. I called the wife to tell her what was going on and to tell her that I felt we would end up using our credit union because I didn't think they would get it done for below prime and all the other stuff I asked for. Before I got off phone Matt was back with the news that yes he had many financing options for me. We went thru the usual service and warranty options. I was surprised at the many different options available since my last HD purchase. I picked out what I wanted and he did his magic while Sarah introduced me to Doug the parts guru. I ordered the seat and the stereo I wanted (neither in stock) and was told before I left that the parts were on the way. Matt asked when I was returning from Idaho. I told him Sunday night. He did some quick math and told me I will be due for my 1K service. Keep in mind I'm 140 miles from this dealer in another state. He quickly gave me his cell number and told me to call him on my way back thru on Sundays evening and he would come down and open the dealership so I could get my bike serviced and pick up my box. THE BOX, I forgot to mention that I left with a Roadglide loaded for bear (tools, layers of gear, a Yeti cooler ect ect) on and on. Getting onto the ST the storage was limited. Sarah got me a box and we packed it all up. She kept it under her desk so I could pick up Sunday. I made arrangements to have my wife pick me up and dropped the bike at the dealership as planned. It gets better. I just got a call from Tim in service, my bike is ready to go. Stereo and seat installed. Saturday is my only day that I can do the 6 hr round trip and those dudes (dude-ettes) made all that happen in 1 week. I'm a "experienced"!human and this is my 5th new HD purchase. It was by far the easiest and most enjoyable. From Sarah (she rides and knows what's up) to Matt over to Doug and onto service from Tim it's been 8 days. Cannot even express how surprised I am that everything went exactly as I had hoped for. Tomorrow I will make the trek driving past a closer dealer (they must not need the business) and into another state to bring it home. This dealer reminds me of my first HD purchase in Sacramento in 1989. I left feeling like they wanted my business and cared about my purchase experience. They earned my business and I look forward to working with them to keep my HD all HD and running for another 10-15 years. It is a little drive outside the city and in a busier than usual area for a Harley dealership in our opinion. We had a car so it was no troubles for us. Sitting here waiting for service to be completed. Had a 1000 am appointment for an oil change and new rear tire. Showed up at 945am, service took the motorcycle at that time. It is now 1145am and was told it would be another hour at least. This is with an appointment. WTF? Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to get your H-D serviced. I'm probably the least qualified to review anything having to do with motorcycles, but I do know friendly, helpful people, clean, well-stocked, inviting establishments, and places that just have a great vibe. Paradise Harley-Davidson hits all of these benchmarks with aplomb. I came here to catch one of my favorite local bands, and it is a fantastic place to see a show. It was a beautiful day, and the band played outside in front of the establishment. There are a few picnic tables out front, and many people sat in the grass field to see the show. One of the super-friendly and helpful employees talked with me at length about all of the great programs Paradise offers to help riders learn how to ride, and to get their motorcycle endorsements. There was ZERO pressure to purchase, and I was seriously impressed with all of the employees that stopped to talk with me. This dealer is the top reason I left the Harley brand. I have multiple reasons I wont finance a Harley again. My story is kinda long but context is important. For starters at 42 I have had 5 harleys, a 95 wide glide, 2000 fat boy, 04 Electra glide, 05 road glide and a 18 road glide special. A couple years ago my wife and I where looking at buying a new road glide special. We had spent a lot of time shopping. Looked from Eugene, OR to Seattle, WA and was not in a big hurry, we just wanted the right deal. I had sent a couple friends to Paradise Harley and both of them bought bikes there. My wife and I attended a event there and we looked for our selfs. The salesmen talked us in to riding the owners demo that he had put a passenger backrest on and put 3500 miles on. We liked the bike and tried working a deal on it. $25000 with a $1000 or $1500 gift card. We where going to trade in my 05 road glide and bring them a check from my bank, just needed the numbers and a P.O. And the deal would have been good to go. not at this dealer, after some back and fourth about letting them run my credit, the sales manager said that he'd have to find me a cheaper bike....?????? For real, we sat there for who knows how long, I refused to let them run my credit, I tried explaining to the punk that I HAVE MY OWN FINANCING. So we left. F them.... I bought my bike from Salem Harley a couple weeks later. I tried taking a copy of the check in to paradise to show him he was wrong and lost my business. We mf'er wouldn't you know the bike was gone and the actual sales guy that tried helping me out, kindly escorted me out. This year my buddy went in to look at a bike and just asked about trading in his 19 road glide special for a low rider s, sales lady was kinda push, they started talking numbers and they wanted to give him 21k for his bike and 22k for a 18k bike with 5k down. He went to Salem they gave him pay off for his bike and sold him the new one for 18k. So not only will I not do business there I got rid of my Harley all together. If you have to go there watch out for the dude with the slicked back hair. Looks like a guy from sons of anarchy or some shit on the discovery gang land or some thing. read more

My better half and I came from WA to purchase a 21 Royal Enfield Himalayan. Couldn't have been the easiest customer. We were paying cash, knew what we wanted and just wanted to buy it to hit the road. Took over 2 hours for the paperwork. We sat around while a staff of nine walked aimlessly around the building. When asked what the wait was for, they kept telling us they were working on the numbers. Finally was directed to the finance department, given the total break down. - First off, they charge $500 MORE than any other Enfield dealer for freight. Despite the fact that in Bend they charge just $500 and in Seattle the same. - Was told the taxes and fees were going to be part of our licensing with the State of WA. The person handling the paperwork is also a former sales person... smh. - Charged an extra $33 for tabs (later told this was for OR temp plate even though OR charges $32) and $150 for electronic processing (also told this was part of licensing) and an additional $25 for paperwork (redundant am I right?) - Again the employee that was in sales was two weeks in and assured us this was for licensing and tabs. - Month goes by, NOTHING. Called several times and the person they have handling "paperwork" tells us they will just mail us the title. Keep in mind, when we were buying the bike they even told us where we would pick up the title and tabs from a local license office here near Seattle. - ONE week more and we finally get a package. It's just a signed notary indicating we're now owners and no licensing work was done. - Call to speak with a manager about why we were even charged $33 and additional fee for electronic filing, that their "Paperwork" person told us was part of licensing and tabs. They inform us that was not the case and they were going to call me back "after they look into it". In summary, stay away. This place is not honest and is an utter joke to work with. read more

Well I took my 2015 Dyna low rider to the Harley dealership and for a check after my bike would not start. I had installed new S&S cams, cam chest plate and oil pump. Now they told me I had a loose push rod and low compression in the front cylinder. I would normally do the work but they mentioned it might need machining. So I allowed them to fix it. It was a 6 week wait for an appointment. When I brought it I was told to drop it off a week early Incase machine work needed to be done. When I dropped it off I was met by a very rude person that was obviously annoyed he had to push my bike I to the shop and asked who told me to bring it early. I almost said forget it and took it home which I should have done. So they said 7 hours to reseal the top end. They had my bike for 10 days and I finally called and was told they had people call off, people on vacation and they would get it done asap for me. They manically had it done the next day. After $1300 dollars or which $950 was labor I got it back. Me and the wife ride from Portland to Seattle having issues along the way and finally towed my bike back from Tacoma when it would not start. Thanks AAA. Called the Harley dealer for two days in order to talk to a manager and was told it was probably the work I had done. The service manager John was very rude and entitled acting like the techs would never make a mistake in his shop. I pretty much had to beg for they to look at it. After thinking about it I decided to check my work. Found no issues with the timing or any of the work I had completed. But still found low compression in the front cylinder. Hmmmmm. Took the bike to a different dealer and was told the piston rings needed to be replaced and the other dealer pretty much slapped my bike back together and did not fix the issue correctly. Well Paradise Harley Davidson just stepped over a dollar to pick up a nickel. After speaking with the sales person at the other Harley dealer me and the wife are purchasing a new 2021 Road glide limited. $15k down and picking it up in a few weeks. Due to their very poor customer service and outright bad workmanship they lose the $30,000 sale. Oh also filing a claim with the bureau of Automotive repair for the incomplete work done on my bike. And the BBB. Don't shop or allow this place to service your bike. Thief's and shady people. read more

UPDATE: after getting home we realized they had replaced the back tire with a white wall. We NEVER put white walls on our bikes. We called and they agreed to come get the bike, change out the tire to a black wall and deliver it back. Under further review when we brought it in it had a white wall that we hadn't replaced yet, so they just put one back on. Even with this information they still did what they said and replaced the tire because they should have called us and confirmed what we wanted. The bike is currently getting dropped off to us at 7:11pm on a Friday before a nice fall weekend. These guys are incredible! Paradise Harley picked up my Harley for possible leaky shock. Maintenance, stated the oil on the left shock is from the steering knuckle dripping down. I asked Paradise why is it not on both shocks? Paradise stated: o it's just dripping down on one side. Also, asked them to check for a loos chain noise when coming off throttle rapidly then applying throttle. Paradise went through a whole tank of fuel riding the bike (on empty when received the bike back). Manager of shop said he would clean up the steering knuckle. That was not done. I called about a week later stating how upset I am. Manager said she would have the GM call me Tuesday. Talked to them Sunday. No call on Tuesday. Called today (18 Dec 2022) a week later. Told the manager of the day I have not received a phone call or a voice mail. Manager stated the Gm or shop manager said Paradise could pick the bike up. With no communication too me. Also, they stated: they may have had a new tech working on my bike. I told them I am done with their dealership. I don't know what is going on at your shop. However, you should fix it. I am completely disappointed with the purchase and customer service with Paradise Harley 10770 SW cascade Ave, Tigard OR, 97223. In my opinion they are a joke.
