It's BMW demo days. Friday I test road a 1300 gs asa (auto). It had unexpected balance. Lifting it off the stand is a bit heavy but balanced. The engine is huge clunky machine. Bit too large for single track according to one owner. Mostly fire roads. It's comfortable sport bike ride, shifting easy but clunky. Right foot got hot in the 20 minute ride. Trying really hard to like this new shop, but I'm dropping it down a star from my previous review. Why? I had mentioned to Markee to reach out to me when a Tiger 800 comes available (used or new) to see how I like that. Seeing one on their site, as we speak, I've gotten no call or follow up. Which means, to me? It feels like the same, typical dealer experience as everywhere else. Zero follow up and all they care about is a quick sale. Even after being a loyal customer, that's spent THOUSANDS of dollars at their previous shop. UPDATE: Markee finally called me back a few weeks after posting this. Big, modern, warehousey building that's nicely laid out with the latest BMW and Triumph motorcycles, a fairly decent selection of gear -- most of it higher end but again, nicely displayed --- along with clean bathrooms and cool events throughout the year. We stopped in to Cascade Moto looking to purchase a new, or newer, bike. We didn't know this "new" location was here and almost missed it. We're so happy we didn't pass it up! This shop has been in the area for many years but now has this great new building to accommodate whatever your bike needs may be. We walked around outside looking at bikes in stock and we were briefly greeted by 2 nice employees. While we looked around at the bikes on display inside we were greeted by another employee asking if we needed any help. He was clearly on his way to do something else but he wanted to check on us to see if he could call someone over if we had questions or needed anything. Fantastic customer service! Every employee we encountered from the door to the sales staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you're in the market for a great dealer, with a great in house selection, friendly staff, and a great buying experience this is a great place to check out. Highly recommended! read more

I went in Wednesday night to look at a specific used bike. Test drove it. Liked it. Started in on the paperwork. I was offered a rate of 6.34%. My credit is mid 700s. While I was there I picked out a helmet. I was leaning towards the older version 2 helmet for 700, but the sales associate told me the version 3 (for 950) was specifically designed for a really good comms unit, so I went with that one and asked him to install the comms that he'd recommended. I signed all of my paperwork that night and said I would come back to pick it up the next day... The next day, I took a Lyft and came in to pick up my bike and helmet. I was told they still needed me to sign a couple things, but the financing guy was in a meeting. So I waited. I drank a coffee. I chatted with another guest. I looked at clothes... I talked to the guy at the counter about my helmet. He said he was having issues installing the comms unit and admitted that the comms unit I had purchased was not the one they usually sell with that unit, but that the one they usually use was out of stock.... I bought the helmet that cost 250 more, specifically on the recommendation of the comms unit that the helmet was supposedly specifically designed to accommodate, but apparently that was not the one he sold to me. He never even mentioned the out of stock one as an option when I was purchasing. The financing guy finally came out and told me that because the bike I was getting is under 500cc, it didn't qualify for the rate that they had offered me and that I had signed for. I guess they've never once ran into this issue in all their years of business, because he sure acted surprised by this! Instead, they now wanted a 2500 down payment and they were raising my rate of 6.34% to a rate of 8.44% (if memory serves, I know it was close to 8.5%). He tried to down play this like it was no big deal, mentioning that I had asked about paying out of pocket vs financing. Yeah, I wanted to know if there was a discount paying for it upfront and I was told its the same as financing. When I didn't just accept it, he suggested looking into my credit unions offers, which I did, and they were all higher than the original offer. Looking over the paperwork (which he printed for me so I could check other lender rates) I see they also charged me a freight / prep fee for 495. This was a used bike with 2000 miles on it that a guy from Canby Oregon sold them, not a new bike that needed to be shipped and prepped. The bike was at the high end of it's value at 6.9k. By the time I walked out, I was over 9.5k on just the bike and warranties (one of which he even heavily discounted because I'd told him no the first time he asked). Far more than the 6.9k I saw before coming in. I get it, I added some warranties, but still, 2500 over the price is a bit absurd, especially after realizing at least 495 of that was utter horse dung. I feel like the whole things was them taking me for a ride. On my way towards the door someone rushed over to let me know they were 'contacting the financing company to try to work something out'. Should have done that before I ever showed up. I told him I'm good. To his credit, he didn't try to push the issue. Nothing about this experience makes me want to ever give these people my business. I asked for a refund on the helmet and comms and I left, paying for yet another Lfyt ride... I told the finance guy to his face that it was a deal breaker before I left yesterday. I still got a call this morning, him acting all confused that I didn't end up buying anything... I am out of state (one state over) and worked with these guys for 3 days to purchase a used BMW GS they have/had, and it was a complete waste of time. We agreed on a price, we agreed on how I would sign documents, and I agreed to let them run my credit. First the problem was the system was down, waited a day (even though my credit monitoring told me an inquiry had been placed). Now, I get a call saying my credit was good, but the "banks they use don't lend to out of state people due to the Holidays" (it's past the holidays). I've never heard a bigger line of BS in my life. I've probably purchased 10 motorcycles throughout my life out of state on finance. If you are such an incompetent dealer to not even know your banks lending preferences so you can notify the consumer BEFORE they take a hit to their credit, then you shouldn't even be in business, let alone lending on bikes. Disappointed, loved the bike, seemed like nice people, now I will never do business with this place again. And I absolutely LOVE my time wasted and my credit taking a 3 point hit, due to people that dont even know their own business. read more

Although , I had some major issues with Salesman Jack Weyler, lots of empty promises, distortions and deceit when purchasing a new 2025 Triumph Speed master, General Manager Jason May, stepped up and made things right. I traded back the 2025 Speed master and purchased a 2025 Triumph Bonneville Bobber TFC. I couldn't be more pleased. The staff at Cascade Moto were super friendly and accommodating to my wife and I. In the end, it's is Management who makes or breaks a company. Jason May totally resuscitated a bad experience and turned it into a great memory. Thanks Jason. My brother and I came up from Medford and both want the R1300 GS. Ivan 'Evon' Moreno Met us and gave us a complete tour of the bike from front to back and showed us everything on the bike, the we each followed him on a test ride. We both ended up buying the bike we wanted and Ivan got us the accessories we needed while we were back in Medford. We came back 2 weeks later to pick up the bikes, fully outfitted, introduced to all the staff, and finished our paperwork. Great experience. I bought a new black & white Triumph Rocket III in 2009 from Cycle Parts in Eugene OR. After allowing Rod Johnston to establish a dealership and sell the brand for few years, Triumph decided Rod didn't have enough floor space and yanked the rug out from under him. Rod was no longer authorized to pedal Triumph MCs. He tried to make it selling Chemcos & Hio Phongs as well as scooters before finally hanging it up. I bought an R3 under the assumption that I would have Rod's quality service backing a sale. I had bought an 07 Bonneville previously from Rod Johnston and was completely satisfied by both sales & service. Some years went by and Cascade Moto filled the breach with both BMW & Triumph sales & service in Eugene. Outstanding! I was overjoyed. Late 2025, I drove down to their dealership only to discover that the building was now the home of a lingerie shop. I tried to interest my girlfriend in a nice collar and leash but she wanted me to pay for it. The website hadn't been updated. A little research revealed that the business had moved to Tigard (a suburb of Portland). I assume that since the dealership had sold bikes in Eugene, the staff saw the need to maintain some sort of service capability instead of simply sloping off into the sunset and not returning phone calls. I was impressed that Cascade Moto was running a ferry service hauling bikes in need of service and returning them to and from Eugene. I can understand that perhaps they were not making enough money to keep the doors open and the lights on in Eugene. This is where upper level management needs to step in. Bloors, or whoever runs Triumph now, needs to consider that a business catering to motorcycle riders is a little different than a 7 11 store. EXPAND or DIE. Triumph now has two dealerships in Oregon--both in Portland. Nobody outside of the Portland Vancouver area is likely to buy a Triumph in Oregon until this is rectified. I had the fork seals replaced in my R3 and will report on the success of the operation after I get a few miles in. I rate my experience with Cascade Moto highly and the Triumph experience as a whole at 2 stars. Upper level management needs to get their collective heads out of their duffelbag and fix the problem. I bought my new Triumph 400 Scrambler from this dealership. I wasn't getting what I needed from my local dealer, so I called the Tigard branch. Tom (sales) was super helpful and got me a very competitive quote. Jason (sales manager) is a rock star. Not only did I get great service, he called me around 7:00pm that night and asked me how I was doing. He said that a woman called him, saying that she had found a wallet at a local restaurant and the only info with a phone number was his business card (thank God I had put it in my wallet). So he had gotten her phone number, and put me in contact with the woman. Although I didn't want to drive 2 hours back to Tigard, I did, and got my wallet back (money was still in it!). The service at the dealership was excellent...everyone there was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. While I was waiting for them to get my bike ready, I was asked at least several times if I needed anything and/or was being helped. SUPER JOB GUYS!! read more
