We were in the area to meet family at the wine and jazz festival BUT though I like wine - I cannot drink it in the day time and certainly not with heat and altitude so beer it was and this place was a good pick! Fast, friendly service and we tried two of their IPAs. I had the Mountain Juice Hazy IPA and it was pretty phenomenal! Lots enjoyed their cheesy bread which was also fantastic and note that enough for 4 of us with leftovers and the pretzel! Great atmosphere, fun merchandise, great door and beer !! Liked this place!

Sweet corner spot right in River Run Village. Walked right up to the counter and ordered. Service was friendly and quick. Food is a little pricey- our bill was over $45 with two coffees and entrees. However the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich was made to order, nice hot food and a big helping. I couldn't eat it all. We sat out on a beautiful patio surrounded by flowers and incredible mountain scenery.

Nice wood feel inside. On a cold winter day at the Keystone ski resort after a few runs on the slopes, this is not a bad place to stop by and grab a coffee with a pastry or a craft beer. This place is busy so you'll not experience a quiet moment to chill. After all, any place in a ski resort can be busy/lively so this is very much expected. Also everything is very overpriced (typical at a place like this.) I wanted to get the soup but the guy who helped me said it wasn't quite ready for the day (it was around 10:50am when I got here.) I, hence, got me a blueberry scone instead and it was $8!! It tasted good though. Service was good and quick. There were several guys behind the counter working their bottoms off to assist with people that come and go (in and out.) They also have super easy to read menu boards at the bar. Good place for families with young kids as well.

Really cute coffee shop with friendly service, however this place fills up quick so finding a seat inside could be difficult. The Salted Caramel latte is divine, so tasty I got it 2 days in a row 10/10! The Gourmet Breakfast Sandwich is pretty solid, I especially love the sauce it comes with 8.5/10. The tots fell a little short for me, some tasted not so fresh 6/10. All in all I recommend while in Keystone!

Some of our crew wanted coffee after a hike, others wanted a beer so this was a perfect spot! We'd been here before by ourselves but went with another couple. We had two dogs with us and were allowed to sit inside with them which was nice because the outside seating had smaller tables. My husband and I got beers, our friends for coffee. They really enjoyed the coffee and got some beans to go - our beer was solid. Service was also very good, beertender was very nice! We ordered the Hawaiian pizza which was OK - crust was nice but could have done with less cheese and more sauce. Would come again after a day of hiking or skiing! Cool vibes inside, and seemed like a lot of locals were in. Liked the free games they had and the wall art.

Such a fun and cool concept, beer and coffee brewery! Ordered the skinny hazelnut latte. YUM. My drink was so light and tasty! Service was nice in making sure we liked our beverage and answered any questions we ha. The interior is super cool. You can see where they brew the beer, all the action is visible from when you order. Not only do they service yummy coffee, but they also serve sandwiches, a ton of breakfast favorites and they also serve pizza. If you're looking for a a place that has it all, be sure to visit Steep!

I came in for my first time after hitting the whitepowder worked up an appetite was craving a IPA and a Pizza ! This place when I walked in was ALIVE so many people inside. I loved the feel of it ! Felt like a local family vibe everyone talked to everyone! Made some new friends sitting at the bar. Highly recommend their thick crust pizza and a beer! The only thing I would have liked better is when I got draft beer it was in a plastic cup. Drinking a beer from a cold glass is the best! But I'm not sure if that is a normal thing or it was just so busy. Still had a great time!

Best brunch I had in Frisco…read more Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe is the highest-rated brunch spot in Frisco, and based on my experience, I'd agree with the hype. Of the couple of brunch spots I tried in town, this was my favorite. I ordered the Cornucopia with eggs over medium and substituted the home fries for fruit. The fruit was surprisingly good, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. A side of fruit can be pretty hit or miss when you substitute it at brunch, so I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were cooked right, and the toast was fine. I opted for turkey bacon, though, and I'd recommend skipping it. It was pretty crispy and lacked much flavor. The standout was the cinnamon roll French toast. We ordered it to share with the table, and I highly recommend doing the same. It comes with two large cinnamon rolls that are soaked in egg batter and grilled French-toast style. It was top tier. I noticed several tables around us sharing the regular cinnamon roll as well, and those looked fantastic too. They also have a bakery counter inside with plenty of grab-and-go options. The pastries all looked great, along with fresh bread, cookies, and other sweet treats. If you're visiting Frisco and looking for brunch, Butterhorn is definitely worth a stop. And whatever you order, I'd make sure the cinnamon roll French toast makes it onto your table.

It's new as of the '13/'14 season and they serve coffee, hot chocolate, and two different food items: mini donuts, and "mountain waffles". I lost a race with a buddy and had to buy. I ordered a dozen mini donuts and 1 mountain waffle. A dozen mini donuts is $5.30 and a mountain waffle is also $5.30. I was notified that despite what the photo on the front of the cart looked like, the mountain waffle came plain and it would be another $1 for the depicted chocolate drizzle. Fine. I paid my $13 and change and took my bag of mini donuts and mountain waffle to one of the nearby benches. The mini donuts aren't that special and taste something like a larger apple jacks? Doughy onion rings? Miniature half baked donuts? Anyways, not really worth the $5. The mountain waffle though is egregious. It's tiny. I mean maybe 3-4 bites? Looking a photo of the said waffle with a fork for scale, the fork looks massive. Also half baked. Meh. Even for ski resort prices, this place is a rip off and you're better off spending your money elsewhere on premise.
