It took a few schedule misses before a team could come out to try again. The team that came out today was exceptional. Paul P was the crew leader with Steven M, Robert S, and Laywandre J. Paul agreed to try and lift the chimney this time to correct the problem. He was able to lift the chimney by three inches. I think that this team did a much better job than the one from a year ago. They also cleaned up the yard where they dug so you can't even tell they were here. Great job this time!

My experience with Palumbo Concrete was exhausting and incomplete. I did not want to take to the…read moreweb to express my discontent with the contractor but it is what I have left because he delays and he does not respond. I will leave concise list in my experience of where this contractor areas of improvement are. My initial review is very low (if zero stars, I would). If the contractor corrects the issues, I will leave an updated review if needed. My observations: * Contractor pulling permits (double check permits have been completed by confirming with local jurisdiction) * Contractor underestimates plumbing subcontractors work and will ask you for more money. * Contractor used 2x4 frames for a 4 inch thick concrete. 2x4 is actually 3.5 inches. Cracking already appearing near 3 steps in less than 6 months. * Contractor damaged the garden spigot and attempted to repair it. The repairs did not remedy the situation. I repaired it myself and reduced my payment to the contractor by the amount and handed him back his parts. * Contractor damages surrounding utilities when given explicit information on where they are located and takes note. In my case, water and electrical connections to the garage and air conditioner connections. The air conditioner connection was fixed by my nice hvac contractor that did not charge me extra because they felt bad for me getting a waterproofing contractor that hits stuff. For the water and electrical, he had one of his electrical subcontractors out to fix the connection but the issue popped up multiple times after he left. * Contractor did snake out drain at no charge but did charge for additional clean out (that was unforeseen and I accepted) * Contractor will require a good amount upfront and say the rest is due upon completion. Then when the project gets underway, the contractor will state an unforeseen circumstance came up and he needs almost all the money before the end of the job. * Contractor needs pushing to clean up after concrete on site. * Contractor will dump any leftover fresh concrete any where out of eyesight on job site and leave it for you to clean up. * Contractor will attempt to not complete simple grading after project. The reason why I wrote the review is to let other people know of the potential issues with this contractor. Those were some of the note worthly issues I encountered. You may encounter more and/or different ones if you choose to hire this contractor and do not keep a close eye on the contractor team. I made every attempt to be a reasonable person with the contractor and try to handle issues like two adults. When one party does not follow through to rectify incomplete work caused by their mistakes, others should be warned. I still have electrical and plumbing issues outstanding from his reckless operation. DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOUR ISSUES HAVE ALL BEEN RESOLVED (and you have confirmed it). The contractor will delay, delay, delay, and finally stop answering/returning messages to leave you in the wind. Please learn from my experience.

I said I fixed your screw up already wasn't waiting for more water in my basement. They added drain pipes into the crocks and reinstalled my sump pumps without checking to see it everything worked. The drain pipes they added held my floats down and not letting the pumps to turn on . Was not happy .

We had some concerns about cracks in the basement walls and called on OSW for a warranty…read moreinspection. Ron was great and flagged 5 specific areas his team would come out to repair. Service was scheduled a few months later and they came out on Oct. 21st to do the work. I was surprised there wasn't an excavator, but the four man crew dug out the ground with hand shovels. Didn't matter much, they installed their barriers, topped with their tar compound and filled the holes back up. They showed me what was going on and explained the what/why as they went and left me very pleased. It's been less than a month, but haven't had an issue yet. So far, happy to report I don't expect that to change much either. We would absolutely recommend them to our neighbors, friends and family.

But, I did not hear that they don't encapsulate the interior walls and more importantly that they leave the inside part of the floor uncovered. Common sense is that if the entire floor is not covered there can still be mold and radon. I'm just disappointed in the service and a supervisor did come out and that this is how they do it.

This review concerns…read morethe outstanding service we received from construction contractor Dino DiFranco of Bedrock Construction. The project began with a blocked bathroom drain and morphed into a spanking new kitchen. We initially hired a plumbing contractor to clear the blockage. That effort went from bad to worse over two days and is the subject for another review. It did, however result in all new second floor drainage piping. During the process of ceiling/wall repair, we decided to update our kitchen with all new cabinets, countertops and flooring. Our plan was to have the floor installed (floating luxury vinyl tile) immediately after demolition concluded. Upon meeting with Mr. DiFranco to estimate the cabinet install, he suggested that we put the cabinets in first since installing cabinets over a "floating" floor would prevent the floor from actually floating. Good start! This contractor and his crew have renewed my faith. For years and years I have dealt with shoddy and incompetent contractors from a college painting crew that put more paint on my shingles and driveway than my house to an HVAC outfit that replaced our electrical distribution box and furnace (including a new A/C unit) and never applied for the permit they charged me for. Our experience with Dino and his crew changed all that. Being a relatively handy person, I have an understanding of what it takes to start and finish a project. I built my own 3 car garage in 1984. I have made numerous other projects including a solid white oak trundle bed, 2 cypress "Westport" chairs and a deluxe outdoor redwood mailbox/planter. Dino and his staff handled our cabinet install from start to finish beginning with the delivery of the cabinets to our home. Dino called, scheduled a preliminary check of the materials and showed up on time. Several defects were noted and he took care of reordering the parts. On installation day(s), Nate and Brandon took care of business, methodically installing the cabinets and trim. Each of the two days of install, they assured they had covered all of the floors with drop cloths, and wore their masks. Everything is perfect. Nate even assisted me with some additional work that was not part of the plan. Cabinets are plumb and level and the trim work is very nicely done. I have very little follow up work to do (caulking, etc.). I would HIGHLY recommend this company. We are very satisfied!
