Solid 4.5 stars. Nothing to really complain here. Good vibes good service and the atmosphere of being right on the water with both big indoor and huge outdoor space is what keeps me lurking back here. This is actual brewery so they sell their beer can packs to go, as well as some Merch (apparels etc). Newest second location (Narrows Tasting Room) recently opened on Proctor district as well. If I were to get crazy picky, tasting of 1.0oz beer is still going to cost you a dollar. There's no "taking a sip" to see if you wanna commit to ordering a full pint, so just keep that in mind. My favorite here is Narrows Lager and Summer Lager is great too, and if you're an IPA drinker, Tempest IPA is a good option. They also do not prep food here so they got a Chex Mix + Pub Mix snack for $4.00 for about a small bowl, and some charcuterie boards. You can order some food downstairs/next door from Boathouse19 and or bring a small snack bag to nibble on. Parking is ample but can get filled very quickly, especially during Summer time when lots of wedding and other events are happening at the Narrows Marina warehouse, and I also see some food trucks parked by exclusively for those events from time to time. Lastly, they have non-alcoholic beers too! It's not their own, but I've seen them pour "Bero" canned non-alcoholic beer, so you do not need to be a beer drinker to enjoy the space here, but this place is 21+ only, which is another reason I love it here. Oh and last but not least, they have several rooms for event rentals, so I've seen many retirement, birthday parties and other events hosted in those rooms. Pretty cool! The room next to the bar area can be a bit noisy because of the exhaust fan running that is connected to the brewery room. All in all, a great brewery tucked in on the Narrows Marina that's worth a visit if you're in the area, and you might find me here too, just hanging out on a Summer evening : ) read more

We recently had some friends in town and wanted to show them a good time so of course we had to take them to Narrows Brewing Company. Their outdoor seating is the perfect place to take in stunning views of the sound while enjoying a nice cold beer. We ordered a couple beer flights and every beer we tried was crisp and refreshing. My friend also ordered a white wine and port wine. Both were delicious! We stayed for hours and just had so much fun catching up and enjoying the day. As the sun was setting, staff told us they were hosting music bingo that night and offered for us to partake. I wish we could've stayed and played but we had to call it a night. Five star service and great vibes! A beautiful day to have a few brews with views of the pungent sound and the bridge. Blue skies. They serve various snacks. The food from next door is in the photos. My friend ordered us a charcuterie board which we devoured! Too fast for photos. Crackers, three cheeses, candied walnuts, dried cherries, hot honey, and a small amount of cherry jam. Super delicious!!! A few slices of deli meat too. A bit on the pricey side though, $28, bit served fully loaded. The Mexican lager super easy to drink. I also had a sour. Definitely not over powered though. And of course I had to purchase a beanie. I have problems with a beanie obsession. Great views and worth a visit.! SY read more

From the brews to the views, Narrows Brewing Company was a great place to grab a drink on a Sunday afternoon. I tried one of their cherry ciders, which I enjoyed so much that I got a second. The flavor was robust and easy to drink. They have plentiful offerings of year round and seasonal brews and ciders, ranging from hoppy IPAs to fruity sours. They don't serve food-food, but offer snacks and a charcuterie board. If the weather is nice, you can sit out on the deck and look at the sound. No TVs for sports, just a heads up. I'd definitely come back for a nice day date or to grab a brew with a friend. read more

WHAT A GEM. We dropped in about 5pm on a sunny spring Thursday. Grabbed 2 cold IPAS from the friendly crew. Then we scored a sunny picnic table on the deck out back and secured a spectacular pizza from Fabio at Galileo's Mobile Pizzeria Truck. By 6pm, the Thursday night Trivia players were circling for tables so we gave up our spot to some friendly young folks. Cold crisp tasty beer. Friendly & efficient crew. Heck of a waterfront deck. I really enjoy this location of Narrows Brewing because of the nice outdoor patio AND the semi indoor/outdoor space which is a big warehouse (boathouse?) that opens towards the water. Good variety of beers, so I think most people could find something they like here. Bartenders are chill. Location is a little hard to find - kind of tucked away in the back corner of a marine/industrial site. Worth the hunt imo. read more

At the end of a hill that leads into a marina. In the heart of the marina is this tap house. They have rooms to host your events, an indoor /outdoor seating, board games, snacks, and to go Beers. Recently checked out Narrows Brewing Company on date night, and loved it! Narrows Brewing Company is tucked away in an unassuming little part of Tacoma. Wasn't sure what to expect because it's in an older warehouse type of spot, but the taproom was clean, updated, and cute! Staff was super friendly and offered us samples of pretty much whatever beer we were interested in. I tried a sample of their Peanut Butter Cookie Blonde just because curiosity got the best of me, and I'm glad it did. It was interesting. The smell of peanut butter is a lot stronger than the actual taste, but it was still pretty good. For my actual pint choice of the evening, I went with the Tempest Hazy IPA that they have on tap right now - the only hazy they have, actually. I'm partial to hazys so I just went with it. It was pretty good! There's indoor seating, and two outdoor patios overlooking the water. We came right in time for sunset and the view was killer. Definitely a great spot to come and watch the sunset over the sound. A good experience overall, and we're already thinking about coming back this weekend! read more

Three of us met for lunch on a sunny July Saturday. We hadn't been here before. We brought in our own lunch, and ordered beverages. SERVICE: 4.5. Two of us needed recommendations, and the bartender's suggestions were spot on. Smooth yet prompt service. AMBIANCE: 3.5. We sat outside on the single large picnic table, sharing it with others. View of Narrows Bridge was precious. There were also standing counters outside; the small interior had several tables. BEER: 4.0. I had low hopes as I saw the beer selection was dominated by fruit-tinged brews. My two companions wanted fruit and were delighted with their choices: Peachy Voyage and Fruity Pale Ale. I first heard of this place when a friend bought their Octo IPA from a gas station and I tried it, and thought OMG wow this is just like a San Diego IPA. After some googling, I found out that the owners are from Los Angeles and it all made sense. Naturally the next thing I wanted to do was come here and get a flight of beers. They have a great variety of craft beer! My favorite is tied between the Octo IPA and Peanut Butter Blonde Ale. They keep coming out with new brews and their menu is online on Untappd. I really enjoy that they have maintained the SoCal IPA style for the Octo vs the PNW style, which is obviously found everywhere here. Peanut Butter Blonde is just so refreshing and the peanut butter sweetens it up just a bit. I really enjoyed their patio with a perfect view of the water and Tacoma Narrows Bridge. This is such a fun place to come with friends. They have a bookshelf full of games for visitors to borrow. They also have cornhole and giant jenga in the back patio, not to mention the shuffleboard table and arcade game near the entrance. What a cool place. I had no idea this was even here and I live less than 10 minutes away. We were waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant and decided to pop in for a few minutes. They had a wide variety of beer and cider on tap. Very tasty! The space is huge and lots of little nooks and crannies to sit and relax. My personal opinion is that I wish they had more of a selection, but I do realize this is a small brewery and they just serve there stuff. I just don't love IPAS and I know that is what they are known for... that being said my husband LOVES this place! He actually told me that he thinks his favorite beer of ALL TIME is the Fircrest IPA. So.... that is why I gotta give it a 5 stars! They do have some snacks, cider and wine (so that is a plus for people who don't love beer). Also, the views are AMAZING! The brewery itself would be fun to rent out for a birthday, or even a wedding. Honestly I want to plan a big event just to have it here! Nice waterfront brewery with a variety of options. I had the Peanut Butter Cookie IPA and my husband had the Smoked Amber Lager. While I loved my beer the smoked amber was a bit one note. However, we will be back as the staff was friendly and views beautiful. The bar has events to check out and I hope we go back for one off Wednesday where you can try a newly released beer and work your way to prizes. read more

I was looking for a spot between Bremerton and Tacoma to enjoy the sunshine and water and this place was just the ticket. The guys working here were friendly and the various beers on tap were interesting. We enjoyed our drinks on the dock while playing Connect Four and chatting. I would definitely return to try other menu items. It was a little confusing to find as it is tucked away on the waterside of the industrial building but parking was plentiful. read more

Well, I'm 55 years old and have never been kicked out of a bar before. I've been having friend gatherings here for a few years now, sometimes 30+ people. I've never had an issue until tonight. We had 12 people who all brought food (allowed) and gathered in the outside area. It's a glorified boat storage space of concrete, but they've added chairs, picnic tables, and fire pits. It was cold out there and after about an hour and no other customers using the space, we moved the second fire pit appx 20 feet - next to us A few employees came out periodically and never said anything. We assured them more than once that we'd put everything back where it was. Two and a half hours later, after we had collectively spent $350 in drinks and $20 in music bingo cards, a lady (who I assume was the owner) emerged from a locked gate behind us and proceeded to say that moving the fire pit was unacceptable, that if we can't enjoy the space as intended, this isn't the place for you. It was like she was letting this anger build up in her, she was shaking, her voice was shaking, and she was extremely rude. We are not a group of children. We're in our 50s and she's speaking to us like that. She said we have 15 minutes to finish up and leave. Fine by me. I can guarantee that we're never coming back there. They can save their overpriced wine and subpar cider for others. We only liked the space because it was large and open, but there are plenty of other spaces downtown, like Seven Seas or Dystopian.
