We bought wine and they let us bring over food from Cafe Aquatica (two doors down in the same building), as long as we removed our food trash. Very cool of them! It was quiet at the wine bar when we were there, but I imagine it's livelier when they have live music going on. Their back patio area connects to Cafe Aquatica's, so we enjoyed the music coming from there. Staff were super friendly and kind, telling us about the smaller production, local wines they offer. She shared fascinating details about the historic buildings and their connection to the hotel, providing us with a booklet recounting the intriguing story of the Tallman family's legacy. Kameron also recommended the Blue Wings with a sweet-spicy Asian glaze as an appetizer. Without a doubt, the best chicken wings I have ever tasted! And it was full of vermouth she kept coughing from the amount of it. Then when the check came, it was $97. I can always do a quick math in my head and I was like that's about $20 over what it should be and the lady had brought over the little device to charge she said we can't go back to review it. You have to pay for it and then you can look at the receipt when I print it out. To me that was some of the worst Customer Service ever. They had charged us twice for the taco salad 1895 and then an additional 2495. It was the steak one so it was correct at the 2495 but my friend had to get a credit. We went today and had a wonderful time and a delicious meal. It was $45 for each adult and $20 per kid for the Mother's Day Buffet. There were so many food options like salad and fixings, salmon and rice, eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, crab legs, shrimp, an omelette station, all sorts of cakes and pastries, sliced strawberries and fruit. There was sausage and bacon and so much more. It's such a beautiful place and the people that work there are so nice and so friendly. If I wanted to complain, my only piddly complaint was that they ran out of forks but even that was rectified quickly. There is so much to like. Haters gonna hate but I'm gonna love.
