Where have I been with this cute spot, local too! I must have been living under a rock. So cute, the decoration model, elegant, simple with a pop. The wine selections were unique, and they sure keeping to their moto. The foods were delicious and paired very well with the wines. Definitely will be going back!

This wine bar is so cute and their team is super friendly and accomodating. Parking can be hard during peak hours, it's a very popular plaza. If you loop around you should be able to find a spot though. The actual space is so cute and perfect for a date, or a night out with friends. They have a nice variety of wine options as well as great food options to pair with them. You can order by the glass or by the bottle and if you fall in love with anything you can purchase a bottle (or two) to take home. Keep an eye on their social media for fun events like tastings, crafts, and activities to make it even more fun. You can also book private events in advance with them. I love that they bring new wines in and that they have seasonal menus, and I can't wait for my next visit.

Congratulations on the one year anniversary Ever After Wines! I remember discussions about this journey a few years back. To see it in person is a testament to the vision. Good food, unique wines and a fresh atmosphere will keep me coming back for more. Friendly owners...a good place to "hang" and enjoy an intimate selection of natural wines....

Book club night out recap! We picked this cute little spot for our latest book club and honestly--it had all the vibes. The décor was cozy-chic, service was on point (friendly and attentive ), and it definitely gave us the atmosphere we needed for some good lit talk and laughs. Food-wise, the selection was... fine. Not the best pairings with the wine lineup, but hey, sometimes book club is more about the wine than the food, right? Speaking of wine... I may have found my new obsession: Perraud Happy Bulles Beaujolais, France, 2020--a sparkling, semi-sweet, skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc that was honey-kissed. Maybe too sweet for some but I didn't mind! Overall: cute spot, great service, okay food, great wine list. Perfect backdrop for book club chatter, wine booms, and debating characters. #BookClubVibes

I finally visited Ever After Winery, and I was NOT disappointed. First off, I really love the vibe of this place. It's bright, welcoming, and has plenty of seating and bar space to sit down and chat with friends. The staff was super friendly and had no issue with me bringing in outside food. Even though the bar was full, they still went out of their way to get me a chair so I didn't have to stand, huge plus! Even though I brought food with me, there was no way I was going to deprive myself of their summer specials. On the menu, they had Aguachile which had shrimp with avocado, red onion, and cucumber served with a side of tostadas. All I can say is WOW. It instantly reminded me of ceviche and was absolutely delicious. As for the wine, they had a fantastic selection of both local and international bottles. I only had a single glass this time. The only "issue" I had with this place is that I wish it were bigger because I could have easily spent all evening here. Definitely a great spot to visit if you want to explore some wonderful local wines!

Wow, wow, wow! I cannot say enough nice things about this place. First off, any place that is woman owned is high on my list. Any place that is minority woman owned just soared to the top of the list. In this climate, we need to lift each other up and support those in our own communities who are making a positive impact. Next, the food and wine program here is top notch. We had the wine flights and were able to sample several of their wines which were all stellar! The food we ordered was amazing!!! Everything paired beautifully together. The space is bright and welcoming. Nadia and Amara were friendly and helpful. Their events are fun and varied. You've got no excuse. Please check out this brilliant strip mall spot. You won't be disappointed.

I came here for a private event and got to sample 5 of their wines and a few appetizers. The tartine appetizer with ricotta and bread was amazing. They had other appetizers such as hummus/charcuterie that were also very good but the whipped ricotta was my favorite. The wines themselves were enjoyable. The owner was super knowledgeable and shared a little bit about the history of how she came into the industry of wine. It was nice to know that there were no additives in the wines either. I would definitely return and be open to hosting a bridal shower/private event here!

This wine was a fantastic bubbly from South Africa!

Would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a dope wine bar in the Sacramento/Elk Grove area! Nadia (the owner) and all other staff were so personable and very knowledgeable about non-intrusive wine! The wine is very tasty and there was a wide selection offered. We also had some of the food - the TARTINE & HUMMUS were phenomenal! The vibe in here is something that cannot be replicated so I'd highly recommend stopping by.

Ever After Wine is a nice new wine spot in Elk Grove, with a nice rotating assortment of wines and draft beers. Definitely a welcomed business for this area of Elk Grove, and a good spot to stop in at after work or on the weekend. I came here with my girlfriend on a Thursday evening, after she'd come here a couple times prior with different friends. Each time, including when we came in, Ever After Wine had different attractions coming on. During their Valentine's Day special, my girlfriend told me Ever After partnering with a tattoo artist. To give patrons small Valentine's Day tattoos. Apparently it was a pretty big hit and the tattoo artist was busy the entire time. During our visit, their was a wine tasting menu where you could try 3 select wines for a certain price. There was also winery owner, showcasing some of his wines for customers. My girlfriend had that and I had the Blood Orange Sparkling Drink since I'm not a wine drinks. And we both shared several of the small bites from the menu at the bar area. The ambiance at Ever After is very nice. Nice and quiet as least the evening that we were there, but still filled with light conversation over drinks and food. There's also a nice quant swag area to the far side of the entrance by the front window. Where you can pickup bottle of wine to go, or Ever After Wine themed souvenirs. It kinda makes for a nice photo area for social media. Overall: Definitely worth checking out. The co-owner was really nice and helpful as well.

Looking for a neighborhood hangout to catch-up with friends? Look no further than Ever After Wines in Elk Grove! This friendly casual local gem is perfect for a glass of wine and a bite or an afternoon of friendly banter and gossip over a flight of wine. Try their seasonal wine flight features (right now it's Christopher Cellars and a few other summer faves) or by the glass - such as their sparkling rose (bubbly strawberries in a glass!). They have great noshes too - the warmed olives and Italian potato chips and, for those with a sweet tooth, the refreshing ricotta and pistachios in toast (drizzled with dark chocolate)! Pairs well with summer wines. Gotta the craft grilled cheese sammie and also their charcuteries. Coming back on regular rotation for sure!

This wine and food shop in Elk Grove is so great and gosh the interior is stunning!! I love the ambiance and the nice variety of wines and non alcoholic wines they have! They have a fresh menu with roasting seasonal items but one of my faves is the toasted burrata oh and the goat cheese grilled cheese is just a chefs kiss! Nadia and Kelly are so kind and knowledgeable and provide amazing service! I would definitely recommend! This is a great place to meet a girlfriend at or go on a nice date!

We had to stop by and try out this new spot. The vibe is quaint and relaxing. They have 6 wines on tap and all kinds of wines from local wineries. They have some small bites and food. We came and ejoyed the brie and jam grilled cheese that was delicious as well as the caperese salad and the hummus that was to die for. Great spot to hang out and enjoy some wine or to pre-game.

Disclaimer: Before reading this lengthy review, I suggest pouring yourself a glass of your favorite wine. Not to date myself (2002ish), but I can remember the days when I was a teenager speeding through a fairly newly incorporated Elk Grove that had tons of undeveloped land and very little culture. Fast forward 22 years later, (time has wings) a lot of the land has been occupied with new homes and businesses, and you can find food from a myriad of cultures. With the growth of the city, it seems like new businesses are opening at a fast rate. Therefore, I was excited when I read an article months ago about a new wine bar called Ever After Wine coming to Elk Grove. You may be saying "what makes this wine bar unique in comparison to the other local wine bars?" Ever After Wine offers low intervention wine aka natural wine that is fermented without additives. Being that I work in public health, this was immediately a selling point and I couldn't wait to take my wife on a date so that we could experience what they had to offer. Upon entering the wine bar, we were simultaneously greeted by the euphoric sound of laughing patrons and by co-owner Nadia. Even though the establishment was busy, she quickly made her way over to our table, introduced herself, and gave us a brief overview of the food and drink menu. Our first selection was glasses of the La Volta Lambrusco imported from Italy. Although it was a chilly night, the Lambrusco was very refreshing and not overly sweet. In between sips we took in the snug ambiance (where were places like this when my wife and I started dating?!) and people watched from the nearby window. Nadia was very attentive and did a great job of checking in with us during our visit. Unlike some wine rooms that we have visited (I will not name any names) that simply pour the wine of your selection, Nadia gave a little background of each wine and pointed out some of her personal favorites from the menu. For our next order, we chose glasses of the Margarethenhof Elbling Der Spritzige Nicolas Weber imported from Germany (not listed on the menu). Being fans of sparkling wine, we loved it! Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Ever After Wine. Nadia is very personable and makes you feel as if you're a guest experiencing an in-home wine tasting. Both selections of wine were delicious, so delicious that we tasted the last bottles of both options (don't worry I'm sure that they will be restocked soon). We look forward to checking out their wine tasting flight events and trying glasses of the Donkey and Goat New Glou red blend!

The menu is customized to say our names and 5th anniversary on top. My Husband's name was misspelled, but we had a good laugh about that. Drink were yummy. The location was beautiful. Only other thing was that we were told they take a photo of us and put it into a keepsake, which we didn't get to unfortunately experience. Someone offered to take a photo of us on one of our phones.

We had checked online and even called and were told no tables, but figured maybe we could grab a spot at the bar. When we walked in, I thought, " What's the harm in asking"...and somehow a table for two had just opened up. One of those meant-to-be moments. I started with a martini, which was great, and I ordered the macadamia crusted halibut special with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The fish itself was really good. The potatoes needed a little help, though. I definitely wish I had asked for extra sauce and a little salt and pepper, but I did appreciate that they tasted homemade with those bigger chunks. We also got the French onion soup to start, and that was so good. It had little tips of filet in it, and honestly, that might have been my favorite part of the whole meal. My husband ordered the stuffed chicken, and this is where things kind of went sideways. The chicken was really dry, and then halfway through, he bit down on what looked like a cherry pit. Definitely not something you expect, and kind of a mood killer. We called the waiter over, and they were very apologetic, and the service the entire night really was great. But between the dry chicken and that surprise, we were kind of done at that point. We were planning on dessert, but just didn't even feel like it anymore. That said, we've been here before and have had really great meals, which is why I wouldn't write it off. The service was great, everything was clean, and it still has that nice, classic feel. Also, a side note, I used the restroom before we left, and I have to say, as a mom, seeing an actual changing station with drawers and supplies made me so happy. I remember those flimsy fold down tables and being nervous using them, so this felt like such a thoughtful touch. They even had a bidet, which I tried to check out, but it wasn't working. Helpful tip: Get the French onion soup, and if your dish comes with a sauce...ask for extra. Not a perfect night, but enough good here that we'd come back again.
