    Smashburger

Got the smash burger which was tasty. Comes with rosemary fries which were interesting, a different flavor than expected. We sat on the patio which was really nice. Service was quick.

Great spot in the heart of Leavenworth got our large group in quickly and food was delicious. Very friendly staff fun Sasquatch themed environment.

Fish & Chips, Wings with BBQ sauce on the side, Chillies
    Peter L.

We ordered: - Wings - Fish and chips - Chillies - Hot ciders & Coke The wings were sad and dried like it was seasoned with water, I couldn't finish it just because how dried it was. The chillies were not comforting, and the taste is a little off. Can't tell if it it's the seasoning or the meat itself, but the taste is quite bland and lack flavors. The fish and chips batters however were way too salty. I squint when I ate it. The hot apple cider is good tho, can't complain. The service were not great. We ordered a glass and chose the option to take the glass home (+10.50 more), they told us when we finish they can wash it out and wrap it for us. But when we brought the glass to them, they did not wash it, but instead just dump out the ice, give it a spray (not even proper wash off the greases!) and then called it proper. From the moment we walked in till the moment we walked out, no one care what we ordered or talked to us, feels like I'm at an abandon McDonald. Not great. Ambiance is average. Not good, not bad.

    Garlic Cheese curds

So nice and quiet being only a few day until Oktoberfest! Seat yourself ordered off the QR code or with the bartender. Very friendly staff! Get the Garlic Cheese Curds!! Some of the best I've had. Fish and chips are well battered and fried perfectly, the rosemary fries were underwhelming. Could use more rosemary. My husband got the Mother Clucker, it comes on the always good Bosket bread bun, sauce was good, could have used a meatier/larger piece of chicken.

    Lentil soup
    Steve P.

2 bowls of soup, 2 drinks and a pretzel = $67 A very casual environment with a small game room. The lentil soup in a broth is very good and warming. Salty and a bit peppery with bits of celery and carrots. It does have a rich flavor but could do with less salt. A good rum & coke helps with that. This really is a haven for the beer connoisseur as they have 55 varieties on tap. The pretzels are lightly salted and a little on the dense side. They are tasty and come with a beer cheese dip =========== In response to the GM; The intent of my review is to provide insight to others so they may make a decision for themselves. I found the service very friendly and sincere. The quality of the food is good and we had a good time.

    Jägerschnitzel
    Neil U.

I was not impressed with the Jägerschnitzel. The sauce had the consistency of a thick gravy with not a lot of flavor. Jägerschnitzel traditionally has a well seasoned mushroom sauce that is thinner than gravy. The pork filet also was not seasoned and the middle was not cooked all the way. Granted, I might be a bit biased since I am measuring it against Jägerschnitzel that I had in Frankfurt and Munich. Next time, I'll pick a different German place in Leavenworth.

Beers and buds before we eat!

Incredible setup in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. Their inside bar has a dark but warm feeling that makes it a great getaway from the sun. However, the prize place to be is on the street and enjoying some good eats and great (and big) drinks while people watching and socializing with others.

My boyfriend and I are visiting his family in Washington and we took a day trip to Leavenworth. While I shopped with his mom, him and his dad came to Stein's for a beer. We later met up with them and quickly noticed how busy they are! The whole place, which is pretty large, was packed! But given that it was 3:30pm on the Friday after Christmas, this makes perfect sense. The ambience was great because it gave that cabin-y feel and everything was made of wood. The workers were all friendly and were able to help navigate the beer selection. I'm not much of a beer person, but I ended up trying their lighter beer and we loved it! We didn't order any food, so i can't speak to that unfortunately. They also have a nice selection of souvenir shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, accessories etc., of course, I have to buy a shirt and hat but it was worth it! Their logo patterns are so cool, so im sure you'll find something you'll like. If you want a beer and don't mind large crowds and sharing tables with others, this is a great spot for you!

A pretty solid spot for food and drinks! I came here with three friends on a Saturday night, and it was quite busy. However, the staff made an effort to seat us quickly, and we only ended up waiting about 15 minutes. The seating was on benches, and we shared a large table with other groups, which was fine for the vibe. We tried the fish and chips and the dirty fries--both were generous in size and perfect for sharing. The fish and chips were especially delicious! I loved the crunchiness of the batter and the tender, flaky fish inside. I also ordered a non-alcoholic warm apple cider, but it wasn't as sweet as I expected, so it wasn't quite to my taste. Still, I'd definitely come back for the food next time I'm in town!

Wings, cheese curds, pretzel and beer. Cheese curds best ever packed with flavor.

It can be a little hidden and difficult to find. You don't come across too many speakeasy breweries, although its not really hidden you just have to follow the signs. You can also now get your beer in a to go glass and take it outside to the patio if you are feeling a little claustrophobic. Perhaps it is the intimate space, but I always enjoy coming here because you can not help but get involved in conversation. This is not a place to come and have an intimate chat or if you want to ignore others. What we got was some of the best pizza we've had anywhere, full stop. The crust alone deserves its own fan club. Perfectly blistered, airy, crisp on the outside with that chewy, authentic bite you only get when someone actually cares about dough. You can taste the quality of the ingredients immediately. This isn't "brewery pizza." This is legit, crave-it-again pizza. And then there's Summer, the owner. She served us herself and embodies everything people love about Leavenworth and small-town businesses done right. Warm, welcoming, proud of what she's built, and genuinely invested in every table having a great experience. That kind of hospitality changes a meal into a memory. The drinks absolutely hold their own too. Great beers across styles, excellent cider options, and a menu that goes well beyond pizza. Note to the owner, if you don't want to put meat in the schnitzel, don't serve it or make it more expensive to cover the cost so people get food and not fried breading. The flight was a little over $20, and we got five pours that were selected by the staff at the front desk. They chose great varieties -- a good mix of dry and sweet wines from different European countries, which made the tasting feel well-rounded. I liked that the staff brought the orders directly to the table instead of calling out numbers, especially since the place was pretty loud with all the commotion of people being seated. The layout was also nice: There is an upstairs and a downstairs, with upstairs set up for larger groups, and downstairs geared toward dates, or smaller parties of four or fewer. There is a clean bathroom, but it is located upstairs. Do not go downstairs to look for it because you will end up wandering toward the kitchen area lol We also got the schnitzel, which was uniquely hung -- something that I have not seen. It came with two different cheeses, and I really wish that had been labeled on the plate. Not a big issue, but I like to know exactly what I am eating. Meanwhile, the wine flights had a little written card on the side to specific which pour was what flavor. Maybe that it is me being picky, but it would have made the experience clearer and more organized. This spot felt like a dive bar, but much cleaner. It was not bad
