Fantastic dinner experience!! This is the backyard farm to table, romantic dinner experience with food that makes you feel like you're on Top Chef. The staff was amazing and Chef Joe talked to us after the meal and told us how Mana came about. Being on vacation, this was a surprise booking by my wife and well worth the experience. Really yummy! We went for a 19 year anniversary last night. This was our second time, last was in 2022. I wish I can go more but it is a luxury for us. The food is really good and very unique, combinations I don't often see but really work well! Excellent sauces that I scrapped every single plate complete clean. Service is great, all folks we interacted were very kind and very knowledgeable. They explained the items really well, felt like we were guests at their house. We also met the owner, you can tell he has an eye for perfection the way he inspected every plate before it going out. I would say course two was top dish I have had in a decade. I love a veggie forward menu but it still had meat as the main course. I did note it was mostly gluten and dairy free, so probably pretty easy to accommodate those allergies, if that impacts you. You must still notify them ahead of time. Highly recommend for a romantic dinner, it was just under $500 with tip and wine pairing plus extra glass of red for dessert (I just love red wine with dessert). There were no children/ teens, just adults. Just an FYI. It was about 3 hours, so I would recommend NOT bringing children. There is good amount of down time between courses for good conversation with your partner and the staff. Tip - as others noted, all plates served at the same time so if you are late or need to leave early... might impact your experience. I noted most people arrived 15 min before they opened. read more

Mana is my favorite place to go for a fancy meal! I love that everything is foraged and local and that each menu is seasonal and well thought out. I just went for the spring menu and it was absolutely outstanding. I also appreciate that they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions to make a gluten free pescatarian menu. The ambiance is lovely- we sat outside and it was so quiet and beautiful. I got the wine pairing and it was absolutely perfect with the meal. Top notch! Got very lucky and grabbed a table for two tonight only a couple of hours before the reservation. Was attracted by the farm-to-table menu, 7-course dinner and was not disappointed. The food literally is a cacophony of flavors. We are not into shellfish, so we could have passed on the smoked oysters. My one suggestion is to have at least a basic alternative on dishes that are polarizing such as oysters. Other than that every course was delightful and surprising. The food was so good and this was such a fun experience. I was having such a good time I forgot to take pictures of anything else. It was a very cute space, built in what seems to be an old house with nice lighting and so many plants everywhere. My favorite dish was probably the soup or the salmon. The servers and chefs were so awesome and made sure to make their way to each table. They were knowledgeable in the food and wine pairings. First, let me start off by saying I was running about 10 minutes late to my reservation. I did not realize that this was a course menu meaning everyone somewhat gets served at the same time. This being said, I called ahead and they were so gracious to accommodate me. When I arrived, the head chef welcomed me and sat me at my table. From the beginning of the experience to the end, the customer service was top-notch. You can tell that this was a small business and all of their ingredients were fresh. Every single course was so thought out and tasted delicious. I made this reservation tonight not even looking at the menu. The ambience was very quaint, clean, warm and inviting. I sat next to where they prepped the plates before they came out and it was "dinner with a show". I've been to Leavenworth a ton of times and have had all of the pretzels and bratz I can. I was surprised with a night at Mana for my birthday this year and my friends, family, and I really enjoyed it. We've had gourmet coursed dining in Europe and a couple times in Seattle and it's always a fun experience. Mana does a great job of bringing unique dishes utilizing local seasonal produce so that every time you go you're sure to experience something new. Coursed meals take a long time to serve so be prepared to hang out for a couple hours. We had reservations and our large party was seated in one of the outdoor bubble rooms which was lots of fun. Three of us had gluten allergies and they did a great job of substituting ingredients so we didn't go without anything. All of the plating was exquisite and like works of art. Most everything we liked with only a few of us not preferring certain ingredients. The dessert was super whimsical and fun as well. Overall it's a really neat experience but time consuming and pricey so be prepared for those things and enjoy the culinary journey. read more

We've heard so much great things about this restaurant we had to try it. This restaurant uses farm to fresh dining from local vendors and farmers. The menu changes according to what is in season. I was hoping for a lot of mushrooms because it is fall however, the weather did not favor conditions for foraging abundant supplies. Nonetheless the food that was prepared was delicious and creative albeit a tad under seasoned. We opted in for the wine pairing, which I believe is a necessity if you're going to be eating here. As a picky eater I was a little worried about going into a fixed menu. However everything that was served was amazing. I told myself I would try and everything and not only did I try it I ate everything from each serving. The service was warm and welcoming, you were given opportunity to speak with the chef as he is out in the serving area many times. You are sat around the open kitchen to watch service. The room gives almost a bed and breakfast feel. Lighting was warm and inviting, perfectly mixing social and private. With the menu you are offered wine pairings or mocktails. I had the mocktails they were also amazing. The Bee in a Tuxedo was hands down one of the best mocktails. Over all my favorite dish was the fish with miso... the only bad part is that you get a smaller offering and when food is this delicious it leaves you wanting more. This restaurant is a gem!! We came here for my boyfriend's birthday and we both agree that this is one of the best meals we have ever had. It's a cute little cozy restaurant with indoor and outside igloo seating, I opted for the indoor reservation just because of how unstable the weather can be in the mountains. But the outside igloo looks very intimate with blankets and heaters. We were seated in the corner which had a view of the kitchen in the center of the dining room. They only do one seating per night. It's about a 2.5 hour experience to really savor and enjoy the food. Both of us did the wine pairing. The wine they picked are so good, and are the types that I'd normally go for. Everything is so delicious and I have to say the poppy seed salmon is cooked to perfection that it just melts in your mouthy. The strip steak is also very tender! I liked all of the wine they picked; including a bubbly from France, some PNW local Pinot, a Melbac and a chenin blanc. The dessert wine is a Hungarian dessert wine, so special! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area again. I like that even though it is a tourist town and most people I assume that come here do not live in town, they still do a spectacular job to make us want to come back for more. Five course meal with drink pairing ( highly recommend ). I actually didn't realize that they have a kids menu as well and I was glad when they call me a day before our reservation to confirm and to tell me about there kids menu ( kids menu were just a mini version of the whole 5 course meal ). One course (the miso cod) stood out, but otherwise it did not feel worth the $300+ we paid for two people and the 3 hours we sat there - as I felt hungry the entire time! I expect small portions for a tasting but this felt absurd. The pacing was also very slow, even for a tasting menu. The service was inconsistent and we had a different server between each course. Some of them really knew the dishes, others struggled to describe what was on the plate or show they cared. My husband and I have ate here many times and this weekend brought another couple with us after raving about Mana to them for months. I was disappointed and embarrassed by the meal we were served. This was my 8th visit, so we were shocked at the absence of the usual beautifully plated courses with obvious effort put into each component. Our meal this weekend had none of that effort. Where did the beautiful sauce work go? The plating was atrocious. The dishes were boring and uninspired. The Korean spiced (overcooked) halibut on the tonnato sauce was especially egregious. In the past, Mana would call a few days before your reservation to confirm and ask for seating preferences and dietary concerns. I kept waiting for that call which never came. There was no bread course which had always been such a nice feature. The one positive was the wine pairing. The wines were excellent and the wine pours were generous. The food did not match up in quality. The warmth and soul of this restaurant is gone. Apparently the owners moved to Costa Rica--and took all the inspiration, warmth, and creativity along with them. read more

An absolute treat and worth every penny! If you enjoy fine dining or have never tried fine dining but are interested in trying it, this is the spot for you. Mana is cozy, the level of service is superb, and all 5 courses are unique and artfully crafted. When we arrived there was a hot chocolate station outside in the snow to greet us! After being seated at your table (either indoors or outdoors in a private heated igloo), your server will greet you and go over drinks and courses. If you sit inside you can watch the chefs prepare the food and they even come around and serve you directly (I highly recommend sitting inside to experience this)! For $108 per person with the option to add on wine or non-alcoholic pairing, I think it's definitely worth it. Surprised that I've never reviewed this place before. This was about our 8th visit or so. They offer indoor seating or outdoor "bubble/greenhouse" style seating. Reservations required as well as a deposit for your seating. Mana is a one price, single-seating dinner. You get what the chef makes. They make in-house nonalcoholic elixirs which is an additional charge to pair with each course. You can also try their wine pairing for a slightly higher additional price than the elixirs. Everything the chef prepares and makes is intentional and thought out. Each menu is living, so what I get one night might be different the next depending on ingredient availability. When you go to Leavenworth, this is a must. You're not going to get a hokey Bavaria themed meal, so don't go hoping for that. This is real food for a steal of a price considering what is provided. Mana deserves to be in the conversation of best restaurant in the PNW. The whole experience was wonderful, dare I say tantalizing. My wife and I sat inside and I'm certainly glad we did. There we got the inherent sensory benefit of seeing, hearing, and smelling each dish as it was prepared for the seating that night.
