    Chocolate peanut buttercup custard

Such a cute place to grab a sweet treat!! Stella's has so many fun and classic flavors and options for sundaes that makes it almost impossible to choose but I feel like you can't go wrong with any of them! They won't let you choose two flavors for 1 cup but all the more reason to visit again! The custard was delicious and perfect for any day in the summer. Service was super quick and they have ample outdoor seating and parking. A really good spot to bring friends and family or a date!

The custard is a must try here!! I came here with some friends. It's a walk up with outdoor seating only. They have a parking lot in the back. I asked for a layered custard topped with hot fudge. The only thing is my friend also asked for layered and they said they couldn't do that, but maybe I'm special idk. Anyways, I would def recommend this place. They have so much flavors. This time I got the banana cheesecake and chocolate PB custards topped with hot fudge. Next time I'm definitely going to try the matcha custard!

    Cotton candy custard

First time ever trying custard, ugh it was delectable. I got the cotton candy. I am severely lactose intolerant but gladly took the L here. Can't wait to try the Irish cream and birthday cake custards

Stella's is my local and there is always a line which is a great sign. There is plenty of parking and seating. The staff are young and very polite. There are 50 custom custard flavors hard ice cream and food items. Stella's pricing is also very reasonable.

First time at this spot. The ice cream or custard cream or whatever it's called is amazing lol. I also tried their fried dough which was good well and just sweet enough. Will definitely be visiting again before the summer ends. I'd pick this place over Curry freeze which is a pretty popular spot in Schenectady.

How indulgent... we shared the Stella's Fried Dough Sundae with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry custard, peanut butter cups, cheesecake bites, caramel sauce, whipped cream, peanuts, and cherries and wow for $12.50 you get quite a lot! The fried dough was delicious and the ice cream melting perfectly over it paired with the caramel... YUM Super thick and creamy milkshakes too! Will definitely be

This place, under very welcome new ownership, has all of the virtues Bumpy's had -- quick walk-up fast food and your choice of ice cream concoctions of the hard (Perry's), soft, or novelty variety -- and none of the negative karma of the last owners. Service is swift and friendly, although I do suggest they reconsider the walk-up window flow of traffic to add a separate window for pick-up they use *all* the time, since we had to dart in front of customers who were ordering to pick up our ice cream. The parking is still weird and my two standing suggestions for improving the site remain: one, do something about the all-asphalt-blacktop in the customer area and the weirdly sloping picnic benches. I recognize this is cheap and probably was done for drainage, but it's hot as Hades even on mild days, and the picnic benches can be deucedly awkward to sit down at. If there's a budget to relandscape and level this and replace the asphalt with cooler concrete or an eco-friendly material (like the recycled soft material used in some playgrounds) that will withstand dropped cones and rainstorm runoff, that would be fantastic. In the meantime, a little extra shade for customers standing in line would be appreciated. The other is to GET RID OF THE BUMPER BOAT AREA. The idea of bumper boats sounds super cool and we actually tried it once back in the day, and it wasn't nearly as much fun as the concept of bumper boats. And it was never open, and when it was it took forever to get an employee to let you in. And now it's just a festering pool of algae. It would be LOVELY if this could be replaced with some shade, some play structures for the kids, and maybe some seating that's not just picnic tables (cafe style tables, etc.) I realize this is a big $$ outlay for a small business but it's wasting half the footprint of the property and isn't anything but a fetid hazard right now. Finally we're really looking forward to the new owners putting their own stamp on the food fare. That would be a big differentiator and one that might get us to buy the non-ice cream food. For now, though, recommended as an ice cream spot (once again) but on the hottest days, be prepared to broil while you're eating it. Best of luck to the new owners!

Raw onions were sweet and complemented the sauce and spicy mustard very well. I do not eat regular dogs often because I avoid nitrates, but when I do I like them with meat sauce. These hot dogs were worth the indulgence. Highly recommend. Onion Rings were very crispy and not greasy. Cheeseburger was very good. French Fries were hand cut but a little soggy since we did not eat on premises. We enjoyed our lunch very much! Pleased to see they use cardboard containers instead of PLASTIC for takeout orders. It being July 4th, Independence Day, I thought it would be an appropriate day to enjoy a hot dog. Just ask Joey Chestnut! I'm not going to reduce my # of *s because we really enjoyed our food and beverages. But I do have to question what I had to drink. The board said it was an Ommegang Grande Tripel stout at 5.5 ABV ($9). That level of ABV would be reasonable for a stout, but the color of the brew was golden like a typical Tripel, and not dark like the typical Stout. The bartender gave us a sample, and it was full of flavor with my wife noticing the vanilla tones that were described by the bartender. I didn't initially identify any specific flavor other than delicious and different than I would have expected from a stout. I also would not take issue with the posted 5.5 ABV. HOWEVER, a quick reference to Ommegang online as I write this says that it is a Belgium Tripel and the ABV is 9. Yes, NINE ABV! I would definitely have noticed if I were drinking a 9 ABV on an empty stomach. I also would have noticed it driving the car after finishing a pint within one hour. For those familiar with Utah Phillips, "It was good though!" But on to the food. We ordered a shareable Tot-Chos ($12.99) consisting of tater tots, tomatoes, avocado, cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli. These were very tasty and not too spicy, with crispy on the outside and soft on the inside tots. My wife ordered the Sooo Cali ($10.99) hot dog. The black angus beef hot dog is very tasty even before it is topped with wild arugula, tomato, avocado, crispy onion strings, and spicy basil aioli. The combined flavors work well together on the Kings Hawaiian rolls. My choice was to try the Hogfather ($10.99) - a pork bratwurst with bacon chipotle onion jam, chipotle aioli, and miso ranch. The bratwurst was delicious and again, the flavors worked well together. BTW, my wife had a Grimm Nothing But Citra ($8), an IPA that even I found acceptable. We really need to return here more frequently.

I ordered a Jack Burger which consists of double hamburger patties covered in cheese and coleslaw on a bun. While the patties look flat they are tasty and very filling. I also had some fries, which were very good. I was stuffed. The 2 Jack Burgers--one for a friend-- fries and two fountain drinks ran me $26. Not bad. I was there for an early dinner at about 4:30pm. I've been warned that the lines can get very long. My friends suggested in order to avoid crowds I'm best off showing up at off hours. It was a fun experience. I finally get it.
