My daughter had a horrible experience today while getting a Hawaiian pedicure with a shellac upgrade. The woman started on someone else and then came over to work on my daughter. She cut my daughter's toenails without asking and crooked as well. She skipped several steps during the pedicure, no lotion, no oil, left sugar scrub on her knees and wax all over her feet. She told the man at the desk about the service but he made excuses that my girl was new and took too long with mine. My granddaughter was beside me getting the exact same pedicure as her mother and myself and we started 15 minutes earlier and were done 15 minutes later. The woman said to my daughter OK you're done now. My daughter said how can I be done? The woman repeated you all done now. My daughter was scheduled to get a set of nails but after the sloppy pedicure, she did not want to have the same thing happen to her finger nails as well. The woman is not a nail technician or she does not like her job. BEWARE. read more

Very nice spa with accommodating staff but in one week I've had to go back for 3 times to touch up my shellac mani, one being a complete redo with a new color as well as my shellac pedi.... could be the brand of polish or even technique but I've never experienced this at any other salon... My shellac typically lasts 3- 4weeks.. disappointed especially when it's $95 for both. read more

i went in for a simple fill and new design, ig we got lost in Communication. she went to trim my nails down like i asked and went way to short. they also didn't talk to us (me and my friend) at all. my nails look good. just not what i said i wanted. my nails do not look filled in at all. and are slanted and different lengths. read more

If you get fake nails here they soak them off in a bowl of acetone foreverrrrr. I came home and basically had acetone burns on my hands that were red, burning and dry. Had to use aquaphor multiples days in a row to even rejuvenate my hands. Never had a problem with acetone before but she was too lazy to do the work and made me soak forever. The pedicures are good, manicures are not. read more

Everyone else has done a great job! No bleeding cuticles, and almost a perfect almond shape every time! This place is the truth!!! It's new and beautiful. Because of that, I was weary about what the actual outcome would be. Some places depend on their newness for their business. These folks did not, they absolutely delivered. I had the mango pedicure spa package. AMAZING! It involves multiple hot towels, mango moisturizer massage, hot stone massage, and paraffin wax. I came for a relaxing spa day and got exactly what I wanted. A delicious mimosa was in my hand to boot! The staff is professional and sweet. Rose was lovely and did a great job. Came in during lunch time on a Friday as a walk-in. Was seated in a chair right away. They are clean & efficient. Lots of technicians available. Honestly, I don't even know how to rate this spa. The location for me is great, they do a good job about 70% of the time but I still always find something that could've been done better after leaving. So many reviews talk about the friendly staff... been here 5 times and the only times I encountered friendly techs were the first 2 times! I don't know if I just so happen to get someone who's having a bad day or what. I never complain but the last few techs I've gotten have either been rushed, annoyed, and just too rough. I get it, it's a hard job and sometimes the customers give them a hard time. I always try my best to just be nice! I'll be generous and give it 4 stars, simply because the location is convenient, the spa is always clean, and I never have to wait too long to be seen as a walk-in. I just don't like going in not knowing if I'm going to get someone who's in a crappy mood or if I'll be getting a good set. Maybe it's just me? This was the first manicure I had gotten in about a year and the first pedicure I'd had in about 6 months, so I decided to splurge a little bit and got the Lush option (I don't remember exactly what it was called on the menu, but it was all lush products). I was pretty disappointed for a couple of reasons. My nails weren't painted well, I got burned with the paraffin wax because the guy never asked me about it and when I tried telling him it was too hot he just looked me in the eye and ignored me. He scrubbed the holy hell out of my legs, which is always a slightly uncomfortable experience for me as I have sensitive skin but I'd never had such a painful experience as I did then. As for my manicure, I got a full set of solar acrylics (whatever that means) and they were put on my fingers slightly crooked, and there was a lot of extra acrylic underneath the nails. I did not come alone, I was accompanied by my boyfriend and my just-turned-three year old son, and they didn't have as bad an experience as I did but they also had different nail techs. All in all I don't think all of our services were worth the $165 that they cost. I will not be returning. read more

I have been consistently going to Stellar Nail Spa for almost 2 years and I've noticed the quality of their work has significantly decreased. I received the worst mani/pedi of my life today. The pedicure was rushed and the nail tech didn't even exfoliate the bottom of my feet. Then he kept rubbing the salt scrub in the same area on my shins instead of covering my entire shins/feet and caused my skin to become red, raw, and painful. My mani was so sloppily painted, I had to take the polish off once I got home because it was embarrassing to be seen with nails that looked as though a toddler painted them. Even my husband commented on how sloppy my nails looked. They polish was WAY TOO THICK and wouldn't dry appropriately, it had air bubbles and indents in some nails, and it overflowed onto my skin/cuticles around my nail. I would have previously recommended this nail salon but their quality is so crappy now, I won't be returning. There are probably 10-15 nail salons in a 10 mile radius of this salon, any of which I'd recommend people try before coming here to have paint slopped on their nails and then be charged $138 plus tip. read more

I went in to have my dip manicure removed to give my nails a break. The tech failed to remove all of the product before proceeding with a natural nail manicure and although I expressed my dissatisfaction the staff tried to convince me I was mistaken. A day later and I am soaking the rest of the dip off. Not worth the money I wasted on a job they didn't complete. read more

I went to the salon because it was close to home and looked nice. I was unimpressed with the customer service. I went through three colors before they had it .. my pedicure was ok but my nails were poorly shaped and some where only clipped.... my dip manicure was another story. I settled on a color I didn't even like because the lady seemed upset I took a few minutes to choose a color. Two nails were ruined by the time I got home and since they're dio it shouldn't have happened. However, they did "fix" it for free. Basically filed a layer away and put the clear coat on to fix it.
