I got the Green Tea pedicure and a Gel X manicure. The salon was nice and really clean but My nail tech seemed stand off ish. I was trying to pick a color when she walked up to me and asked what color I wanted, I told her a soft pink and she said ok come with me. She painted my toes white. After getting the pedicure (part of it is a 4 min shoulder rub which is why I picked this pedicure) we moved onto nails, I figured she would do the shoulder part at the end so didn't think anything of it. My nail shape and length looked great but there were chunks of dried gel on and around my nails she left on that left them looking not as manicured as I would like and then she said "you're all done" and walked to the front so I could pay which was a bummer becuase I wanted the other part of the pedicure, otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much on a pedicure. Overall, ok experience, not bad but not my favorite. There's also no online booking option, you have to call and as a new patron I don't know which techs are available so I can try someone new if I don't have a great experience with someone else. May try again soon, we'll see. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from beginning to end. This was my first visit, as I recently relocated to San Antonio and am looking for a new nail salon. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. When I walked in, no one acknowledged that I was a first-time customer or explained the process. I noticed other customers signing in, but I wasn't asked to do so or made to feel welcomed. I was simply told to pick a color and have a seat. My nail technician, Tony, began removing my previous set. During the removal process, nail dust and shavings ended up all over me--on my clothes, my phone, my drink cup, my hands, and even in my hair. Instead of making any effort to keep the dust contained or checking on me, he brushed himself off first. I had to point out that I was covered before he apologized and wiped the dust off of me. That level of care and professionalism should be standard. There also seemed to be a miscommunication about the service I wanted. I requested a new full set over my natural nails, and it felt like Tony became visibly frustrated once I clarified what I wanted. I showed him a photo of the design I wanted three separate times. My request was very simple: three solid-colored nails and one French tip accent nail. The French tip wasn't being done correctly, so rather than continue, I told him to forget the design and just make every nail a solid color. I ended up settling for something I didn't even want because I had lost confidence that the design would turn out correctly. On top of that, the shape was completely wrong. I requested a narrow, tapered shape, but my nails came out bulky, wide, and much thicker than I asked for. While I do like the color, I absolutely do not like the shape. The interaction throughout the appointment was also uncomfortable. At one point, while my hand was in the UV lamp, I briefly pulled it out to look at the color. Instead of politely explaining that it needed to continue curing, Tony raised his voice and told me to "put your nail back in the machine." I simply responded that I was trying to look at the color. After everything else that had already gone wrong, that interaction made the experience even worse. Lastly, I couldn't help but notice that every other customer around me was offered a beverage, whether it was water, a soft drink, or another complimentary drink. I was never offered anything, which made me feel overlooked and unwelcome. Overall, this was not the level of customer service or attention to detail I expected. As someone who was genuinely hoping to find a new go-to nail salon after moving to San Antonio, this experience was extremely disappointing. I won't be returning, and I hope this feedback encourages improvements in both customer service and the quality of care provided to future clients. read more

Love Bella Nails but for the 2nd time they have shredded my heel. Their design work is good and the techs are very pleasant. I'm just frustrated my he'll is damaged again after I ask her not to use the grater. UPDATE: Bella nails reached out to me and gave me a full refund and apologized for the discomfort to my feet. They also promised to educate their staff on the need for care with the grater. I really appreciate their initiating a quick response. read more

Sweet staff, but within one week my nail was already lifting badly causing me to hurt it everytime I bump it or it get stuck in my hair when brushing etc. The other nail next to it wss badly chipping and I paid extra for gel shellac which shouldn't chip unless it's old nail polish. Went back again (before my nail was lifting) and got my toes done. I asked for "acrylic & tips" on my toes and the guy didn't do it. I wanted my big toes to look even with the tips and more classy for summer. They told me "no we don't give referral credits, we only thank your friend" and laughed it off. Not very professional if you ask me. Wasn't happy with either service and the only thing they didn't mess up on wss my eye brows and the dye they used. The owner did it and thank God she atleast did that right. Very sweet staff but unfortunately I won't be back due to these two bad services. Wouldn't recommend the salon. read more

Bella Nail Lounge is located in the same space as a previous nail spa but the difference is night and day. My problem with the old location was the nail techs were very slow. Now the staff is on top of things. Greeting you with a cocktail menu. Two cocktails per premium service! One was plenty for me. I relaxed in a roomy massage chair as Lyn "LX" started my pedicure. She was very responsive to my request for warmer water etc. She did a great job and pedicure included a soothing massage. The things I like best about this new spa is the quiet relaxing space. They play a soft mix of club/house music while the large video scene shows beach scenes. The lounge is large and very clean. So you don't feel like your neighbor is right on top of you. Unfortunately this guy (Ben) will be the reason you have to change names again, and lose more regular customers. He has a bad attitude toward customers and his coworkers, and continues to do sub par work. My neighbor had a similar experience with him last time we came here, and today was my day with him. He needs oversight!! He argued with me over the thickness of the nails I am paying for, sadly, and then put a nail tip on top of preexisting acrylic. I asked him why he didn't remove the previous tip/acrylic completely and that clearly angered him. I wish I had something better to say. If you look at my past reviews - I don't usually say bad things, and I try to support my local area, (see my first review for here) but we won't return here. EVER.
