This is no doubt my favorite sandwich shop on this planet!! i live about an hour away from the location but when i make the road trip over the pass i always stop for a quick bite to eat from Stella's. i usually get the Roslyn Rider and the warm sandwich always is a hit. The service is always incredible, the lady's that greet you make it feel like home and make you feel welcomed. Lastly is the building itself, it is a small house which makes it feel warm and welcoming, will forever be coming back i love you stella's!!! read more

Warning: do not go here if you have any allergies, the staff is careless and does not pay attention to allergy requests. I was explicitly clear that I have a severe Lactose allergy that could hospitalize me and the sandwich I was served had cheese all over it. When staff was asked over the phone about the mistake their response was "whoops wrong sandwich". A sandwich labeling system and additional staff training is needed for this tiny sandwich shop. read more

I'm not sure why this is rated so high. I got bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and turkey sandwich on sliced sourdough bread that came with a bag of chips. It was mediocre. Hardly anything on the sandwich and very little Mayo. Super dry sandwich and hardly any taste other than the bread. I believe in supporting small businesses but I wouldn't recommend this sandwich shop. read more

I got the ridge- the honey mustard complimented the salty ham really well! So tasty! And it was great fresh cheese. Also it was only $9 bucks! Shweeeet We also had an order for a locomotive- he wished there were a little more veggies, the tomato and banana peppers with the roast beef was a really nice surprise. He said he didn't even miss the crunch of the lettuce with the pepper. (What a win!) Overall it was fantastic, loved the cutie little vibe of the place, there's a bathroom that nicely cleaned. Best place to eat in the Cle Elum area. I visited for 2 weeks and was shocked to see the prices at some of these restaurants. Then, when you look at the bill, they always add some ridiculous charges just to up that check. This and the burrito place across the street from it was the only restaurant to charge exactly the price it said on the menu. On top of that, they were very good eats. If you're looking for a healthy and delicious meal, head on over to Stella's! We were headed back to Seattle after a weekend at Suncadia resort and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. My mom was DELIGHTED to have finally found a spot that had so many vegan options. And yes, they are strictly following the mandate on requiring masks in order to enter their business. We got 2 of their smoothies with vegan protein powder, a grilled cheese sandwich and a vegan Santa Fe wrap. The food was light, fresh, and SO yummy! They seem to be a pretty popular joint, explaining why the wait time was so long. The 2 lovely ladies working there are super sweet and made it an overall great experience. We frequently visit Suncadia, and we will definitely be back at Stella's as well. read more

If you look up "Quaint Small-Town Cafe" in your favorite dictionary, there is a chance that you might find a picture of Stella's. This is a great, local establishment with friendly staff serving excellent coffee and good food. We stopped by after doing some cross-country skiing and we enjoyed a toasted veggie sandwich and BLTA, as well as some hot chai drinks. Everything was delicious, and of course we finished off lunch with an amazing rice crispy treat. The staff was great and I felt very comfortable with their COVID protocols. The prices also felt reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food that was provided. Sometimes in small towns you can find hidden gems, and Stella's is certainly one of them. We stopped for a quick lunch on the way home from the mountains. For only a few more minutes and dollars than a drive-thru we got delicious, fresh, healthy food that was super satisfying. I had a Santa Fe wrap bursting with lettuce, black beans, cheddar, tomatoes and tortilla strips tossed in a zesty chipotle vinaigrette then lightly grilled in the panini press. My dude had a Three Cheese Melt on sourdough and an unsweetened iced tea that hit the spot. The young people working were friendly, fast and efficient! We drive through often and will stop again... Great local restaurant with delicious made to order food! Went for a hike at a nearby trail and was hungry afterwards. Thankful to find a place nearby that is open during our "Stay Home Stay Healthy" situation. They have breakfast and lunch menus (breakfast served until 11 am). Roslyn Rider Turkey Club -- roasted turkey, bacon, white cheddar cheese, and garlic aioli toasted on Ciabatta. Comes with a bag of chips (your choice). This was so good! The bacon were 2 thick slices. All ingredients tasted great together. The Ciabatta had a nice crunch outside, yet soft and warm as you bite into it. I recommend this sandwich! Downed the sandwich with a Tropical smoothie -- Pineapple, Strawberry, Banana, Apple Juice -- this was delicious and refreshing. Teenaway Turkey BLTA -- roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayo, and Havarti cheese toasted on sourdough bread. I didn't get to taste this, but my daughter said it was good. This is a bigger sized sandwich than the ciabatta. Comes with a bag of chips. Spinach Mango smoothie -- Spinach, Mango, Apple Juice -- this was good, but not as good as the Tropical smoothie. The taste of spinach overpowered the mango. Not a bad smoothie. But after tasting the Tropical, I was happy with my choice. They have outdoor seating and you're welcome to use them even during our current situation. It was nice to sit outside with our lunch. We were at our in-laws for thanksgiving in Cle Elum & wanted to grab lunch before we hit the road to Issaquah home the next day. Our son & wife recommended this place as did my mom, daughter & boyfriend who had a delicious breakfast here. So glad we stopped by! We had our little dog so the 4 of us sat outside on their cute spacious deck. We ordered their delicious coffee to start with & then we got 2 of the pesto chicken sandwiches & the "locomotive" sandwich- they all came with chips or apples. The chicken pesto was so good- nice big chunks of chicken & great pesto flavor. The "locomotive" was also delicious with generous portions of turkey, roast beef & salami & peppers that gave it a nice kick- so good! A hidden gem of a restaurant right when you drive into axle Elm. Locally owned and operated with great food fresh sandwiches and wraps. Even vegan options and power smoothies. Locally grown herbs and fresh greens. Bakery items are from a local bakery as well. The staff is friendly. The wait time is a bit long so sit down and enjoy the park right next door or their outdoor seating area. Fresh coffee which is self served all day. Breakfast wraps until 11am and all other wraps and sandwiches served all day. Look for the small sign by the street and turn in to enjoy some food. read more

Wow! I rarely give out 5 stars but I wish I could give these folks 6. My expectations for food when staying in small towns are modest, but Stella's was a rare find. A simple, yet creative menu with flexibility, and something for everyone. We had take-out breakfast there two days in a row. The 2nd day we bought a 3rd dish so we could split it at home the next day! And the prices are extremely reasonable. The Southwest Wrap is to die for. Friendly, accommodating staff who seem to be taking the pandemic seriously (on-premise dining is limited to outdoor seating, a pleasant way to go in the nice weather). The next time we find ourselves in the area it'll be Stella's for sure. read more

Our fave stop between home on the west side to visit the east side! Everything is fresh and made to order! I am on a very strict eating plan and explained what I can eat and she was more than happy to alter a menu salad to meet my needs. Took off items I couldn't have and added items I could w no extra charge! Made me a special salad dressing and went above and beyond to meet all of our needs! Our secret little stop was no longer a secret....busy and dealing with a lunch crowd quickly and efficiently! Thank you again! We will be back and more often!
