Such a cute place to eat at and warm up especially after spending some time in tubing with the family. Food is really tasty and made to order. So expect your food to be made fresh! What a gem to find. Pulled into the town for gas and asked a local where to go and he suggested Stella's (thank you sir for the GREAT recommendation!). It's a tiny little place with only a few tables inside and outdoor seats. My husband and I each had soup and sandwiches. He had a blta and French onion soup and I had chicken pesto and tomato soup. Perfect for a rainy day. Everything is made with just an extra special something. Nothing is basic. Even the little breads for the soups were like a perfect flat flavored crouton with baked cheese. They also offer coffees and multiple fresh bakery items including GF and DF options. Staff are super friendly. We unfortunately will probably never be beck this way but if we did we would definitely be back. read more

Yum!! I had the GF DF pumpkin muffin and peanut butter cookie. They also had GF DF chocolate chip cookies and bread that I didn't get. I took a huge bite of the muffin before remembering to take a pic LOL. Super cute cafe with nice seating on the porch and in a back area. They have a nice garden in the back. read more

Stopped here to grab a quick lunch after a hike yesterday. The owners/staff were super friendly and made us feel really warm and welcomed. They recommended the Teenaway Turkey BLTA to me which I got and it was really good. Not very heavy but really delicious and flavorful. I absolutely loved it. My wife got the Peoh Point which is their Veggie wrap. It was not bad. The wrap was a little too thick and the ingredients weren't quite uniformly distributed (for example, there was avocado in one half but not the other) but overall it tasted really nice and fresh. They have a lovely deck outside which is perfect for a fall afternoon with the gentle sun in your face and apple and plum trees around you. We liked the sandwiches here and the people too. Will definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in Cle Elum. read more

I had a great experience with Stella this past week. I had a film crew onsite and one of the crew members has major dietary restrictions. Cle Elum is a pretty small town, but Stellas boast big ingredients! They were able to accommodate the person who had restrictions that needed to be heard. I really appreciate having this option available for myself as well, as I am GFDF and that can sometimes be difficult to find! Everything was fresh, handmade and full of flavor. First time eating here passing through in a road trip and the menu is diverse with some good options for the kids (smoothies and geeek yogurt with granola and fruit). The wife and I got a wrap and sandwich respectively and they were delicious. I also tried the spinach mango smoothie which hit the spot. Their iced mocha was a perfect dessert. This place is amazing!! Went snow tubing in Suncadia Resort and Spa and wanted a place to warm up with some hot chocolate. Yelped places up and Stella popped up. The staffs were really friendly and patient with us, mind I say we had a group of 10 people. It's a cute little cozy place. My husband and I ordered their clam chowder soup which was a special for the day, three cheese melt, and a tuna melt. Even though our sandwiches were your basic type of sandwiches, they were pretty awesome! The chowder was amazing!! Tons of clams and potatoes in them. My sister ordered their chai latte and that was pretty delicious. Really smooth and creamy. Don't forget to try their Stella bars, they were so so yummy!! What a semi hidden gem! Serve breakfast until 11. Open for lunch until 3. Nice quaint patio. Seating inside for about 20-25. Counter order. This is my first time and for sure will be back! Ordered the morning wrap without the turkey. (Going more veg here) and the chai with coconut milk. Super excited to try! Yum! It's like an iced spice cookie! They brew coffee with local roast from Roslyn WA. Inside has a little cabin feel. Gender neutral restroom. Super healthy options including vegetarian and vegan. If you're hungry, thirsty, watching your food intake with more wholesome clean options and love a small town then please make this your stop when traveling through whether going East or West exit 84 is the one!! read more

Best brunch spot in town, you won't be disappointed. Our party had biscuits and gravy, toasted sandwich, oatmeal, and a wrap, all of it was stellar. The owner, Stella, was super nice and took the time to ask our experience as thanks us. The hostess even gave my little sister a free sticker. What a cute little coffee shop! I loved their food and their service. Everything on the menu is simple, yet healthy and they have TONS of options. They can also accommodate for a variety of diets such as gluten-free and vegetarian. It's an order at the register kind of restaurant and has a few tables inside as well as outside (patio) to eat lunch or breakfast at. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with tortilla soup. If you're in a hurry and ask for a to go order and are the only people waiting for your food.... expect to wait 30+ minutes. I want to empathize we ordered one wrap and a smoothie and we waited for 30+ minutes and we were the only people there... there was probably 6-7 other groups who arrived 10-15 minutes after us and all were served before we were given our single wrap. We actually finished the smoothie before we were given our wrap. Unfortunately, the Santa Fe wrap is not worth the wait.... the "grilled" wrap was cold by the time we got it. Such a bummer, thought we found our new go to road trip stop:( read more

Meh. Underwhelming. While passing by, we saw that Stella's promised gluten-free and vegan offerings. The place is cute, and the menu looked promising. However, we waited 30 minutes (ridiculous) for simple gluten-free sandwiches while to-go customers who came after us came and went with their order fulfilled long before us. When our order FINALLY was brought to us, it was really unimpressive. The gluten free bread was of the ultra basic, lowest variety. It was the driest, worst textured gluten free bread. At least toast it or something. I don't recommend the turkey cranberry sandwich. The "cranberry" was just sweet cranberry flavored jelly. The buffalo chili was pretty decent. My recommendation - if you're going to be slow then at least have darn good food to make it worth the wait. Overall, annoyed. read more

What a great find! Driving home to Seattle and hoping for an adequate lunch for the car, we ordered ahead and picked up 2 really good sandwiches! I had the Roslyn Ridge, ham and cheddar with honey apricot mayo on whole wheat. Everything about it was perfect! Tasty, good quality ingredients, moist and flavorful. Hubby had Teanaway Turkey BLTA, and it was just as yummy! Turkey, cheese, and bacon lettuce tomato and avocado. Servers were friendly and helpful. Go there! read more

I wanted a decent traditional breakfast combo... toast, eggs, hash browns, maybe some French toast... oh well, what I got was ok. I stayed because they have some lovely seating outside which was perfect for an unseasonably warm October morning. Place was being run entirely by one girl: barrista, cook, waitress. She had her hands full. They don't serve a traditional American road breakfast, but do have the same ingredients in the form of wraps and scrambles. Didn't really hit the spot for me but service was quick and prices were reasonable. read more

Stopped for lunch on a Monday based on great Yelp reviews. Did not disappoint. Small but quaint interior. Very friendly ordering staff. We were heading back west after a weekend camping and stopped at Stella's for sandwiches and coffee. It was a great decision! Quick and friendly service with delicious sandwiches. Sandwiches come with a choice or chips or apples, and pick up a drip coffee while you're at it. I had the Teanaway turkey and husband got Roslyn Rider. Both were wonderful, perfectly toasted and the right "ratios" of ingredients. There were several other smoothies and salads we will have to try next time. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I love getting the teanaway turkey blta we get it at least once a week it's a delicious sandwich. But i can't stand the size difference of the regular and the GLUTEN FREE. And I totally understand that gf bread is smaller but I'm paying 2$ more for the bread on this sandwich when it is literally HALF the size of the regular sandwich, I think it is definitely WAY OVERPRICED. read more

Who would've known that such a delightful little coffee/sandwich shop existed right there in the middle of Cle Elum! Thanks to Yelp, now we know all about Stella's and will make it a point of stopping by every time we head over to Eastern Washington! The Chili was DELICIOUS and was made with several types of beans and a sprinkle of cheddar on top. The Rosalyn Rider turned out great, too. I wasn't sure I would like a panini-pressed sandwich but the savory flavors came right out! I asked for Sourdough bread instead of ciabatta and that was a good choice! The garlic aioli was a wonderful addition, too. We were quite amused to see HOMEMADE SALTED CARAMELS when we paid. So we had to toss a couple of those babies in, too, for dessert that we could nibble on later. Wow..... Just wow! read more

Established in 2011.

Originally opened in 2011 by Ralph Allmand, as life long dream to share his grandmother Stella's homemade recipes. Jaimee joined Ralph in 2014 and helped bring Stella's to the next level of healthy and delicious foods. In 2018, Ralph decided to retire and graciously offered Jaimee the chance to continue the Stella's tradition of fresh and healthy foods. Today, Jaimee and her crew offer traditional and new dishes, baked goods, smoothies, and coffees.

Though I wished I could have got more of the jam - it had a refreshing sweetness that you could interchange between the richness of the sandwich. In the end, I spent about $13 for this sandwich, and I thought this was a good deal given how much it fills you up! Amazing.... I stood for ten minutes to be seated while all manners of wait staff scurried about. After deciding i had already spent too much time waiting I slowly about faced and walked out, halfway thinking some one just might pop out and seat me (which the sign said would happen). A pair of youngish wait staff did appear, engrossed in chat, but no dice, they ignored me. I even walked slowly past the front, stopping by the "open 24 hours everyone welcome" sign to take a last look at the strangest cafe I had ever seen. I studied the patrons dor a clue to my toxicity. It occured to me that I was the only male in the vuilding to either not be wearing either seahawks fan clothing or wearing a baseball cap backwards. Just finished my takeout. Convenient , easy, and delicious! I got the Caesar, Teanaway Turkey BLTA, and Locomotive. My toddler could not stop eating his BLTA (I couldn't help to take a bite). My favorite was the salad, simple but amazing.
