Cute, quaint, tiny little restaurant tucked away in St. Petersburg. Visited from WV in May for a wedding and found this place on Yelp. Wonderful brunch, great menu options, low prices, and our server (Annalysa - sorry if spelled wrong) was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my breakfast and I also enjoyed the atmosphere. Our service was a little slow...but the corned beef hash was unique and very tasty. We were seated immediately on a weekday morning the end of March at around 10am, but I imagine it would not be so during the summer months or on a weekend. The coffee was fantastic as well. The combination of options and quality made dining at Stella's a very enjoyable experience for my taste buds. I highly recommend getting AT LEAST one order of Fried Green Tomatoes. We spent a week in St. Pete's and we didn't find this place till the last day. We all agreed our vacation would have been much more relaxing if we found it earlier! We just moved to Gulfport and are lucky enough to have this fabulous breakfast/brunch place within walking distance. They're known for their fried green tomatoes. These all sliced thin and dipped in a southern style batter. You can have them as an app or in an omelette or in your Benedict. We've had then, the turkey Reuben, and Tuna melt. All are great! Stopped into Stella's today for breakfast as we were in the area for my daughters beach clean-up. We thought the wait would be forever but surprisingly they sat us in 5 minutes instead of the quoted 15 minutes. We sat outside. We ordered: Grits/shrimp- it was soupy to me but hubby gave it a 4 out of 5. Later his tummy gave it a 2 out of 5. French toast/home fries/ bacon- delicious! Yummy all around. Great flavor...home fries were perfect and the bacon was too. Biscuits and gravy- they were delish! Great flavor...fresh. Service was great. Total to feed three was around $30 +. The breakfast choices on the menu are varied (from traditional to unique) so there is something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable. This is the first time I came here since they moved. The new location has more outdoor seating (which they need). It is a local favor and always busy. The food is good and price is fair. We had Sunday brunch with some friends and sat outside while it rained. Brian L. our waiter was kind enough to offer an umbrella in case water was dripping down our backs from the large patio one. Of the 3 meals, 1 was lukewarm (eggs benedict - can't eat this dish cold!). They offered a helping of the sauce which helped. The ambiance is phenomenal; however, service was a little slow. Brian was very attentive, but he must have been stretched thin because it took some time for us to give our drink orders and the food took more than average amount of time to arrive. Stella's just moved to a new, larger location in the summer so that might have something to do with some of the mishaps we had during our visit. They should have been able to work most of them out by now though. We were excited to try out a new brunch place. Wasn't happy with the results. We were sat promptly because we called ahead. (Highly recommended!). We like to try a myriad of things on the menu when we try a new breakfast spot out. Mimosas and drinks delivered promptly. We ordered biscuits and gravy with 3 eggs served on top with a side of crispy hash browns. Second meal: corned beef hash with a biscuit instead of toast (with honey) and a side of cheesy grits. First delivery: biscuits and gravy. (No eggs or hash browns.) Corned beef hash with a bagel. (No eggs for the B&G so a total let down for my husband.). No biscuit with honey for me. No Grits... could take them or leave them so that was okay. 10 or more minutes later the eggs that were over cooked were delivered to my husband after B&G were cold. They took the B&G back, microwaved them and brought them back out to him. (No fresh food offered....) Overall, not a good experience when you want all your breakfast food mashed together for a perfect concoction. We'll probably give it another try at some point in the future. Hash was undercooked, too many potatoes and kind of sweet, not enough meat. Gravy was pretty good. Over easy eggs were on verge of being over hard. Mimosas were delicious. They did take a lot off the bill so that helps but they really need to work out some kinks in the kitchen, timing and food delivery. Bill was around $30. read more

This was a very disappointing experience for us. Having come because of positive reviews on YELP, I feel it necessary to explain why this was a negative experience. First, my Quiche du Jour was extremely bland and was not unlike something bought at the grocery store to heat at home. My spouse's egg order of over medium unfortunately leads to an unreliable outcome as over medium has different interpretations. In any case, when we raised the issue we were told the totally runny eggs on her plate were their version or over medium. She offered to bring new ones but wanted the runny ones handed to her on a saucer which was a rather ungraceful maneuver. In the meantime, while the eggs were being redone, the rest of her plate became cold. When she mentioned that her toast was now cold and could be taken away, our server took them away without a word so we assumed that was the end of that. The toast was returned anew but after her meal was done. In their defense, our server apologized and added a small discount to our bill realizing we hadn't a great experience. Any awkward and unpleasant experience for breakfast. We did not enjoy the visit. read more
