Nice spot with good service and nice decor, but the food was just average. Some dishes were really good, while others were just okay.

Went on a Friday night after I had made a reservation for two at on the patio. Arrived at our reservation time, and was told a new host had taken too many reservations so we would have to sit upstairs--if we really wanted the patio, we would have to wait 40-60 minutes and they did not take our number in case it was ready in advance. After reiterating that we had specifically requested the patio, we wasted 10 minutes outside to see that no one had been seated and after we went BACK inside to ask about the available patio tables--the hostess said "oh actually we CAN seat you". Afterwards, the service was terrible, took forever and our table was never cleared at all. The food is marginal, but don't expect anything special if you are outside in the summer. Basically a downtown Olive Garden. Go to literally any of the other restaurants in Milford. read more

Wow, this place has gone downhill. We've been here 1/2 dozen times. Last night was terrible. The service was fine. Food tasted fine - not great. The menu says entrees come with a side of pasta. No, it comes with a fork full of pasta buried under the entree. No exaggeration! C'mon, pasta is cheap. The decor is in need of an upgrade big time. We sat upstairs in a booth. The booth was so rickety that everytime my husband, or the person sitting behind him in the next booth, would adjust their seating, the booth back would move - like a lot. Then when we went to leave, he nearly fell to the floor because the booth bench was secured down , and it flipped up when he slid to the end to exit. The carpet is so worn and so dirty. No wonder they keep the lights so low. Our bill was $120, not including tip, for 2 entrees and 2 drinks. Never again. This place is a disaster. read more

We came here for Valentine's Day after all the other places were full. Wonderful Italian food and service by our waiter David ! Cozy atmosphere. I have to say the service was excellent. Our server was super helpful, polite, and very friendly. I have gluten allergies and they were accommodating. I didn't get sick so i was happy. The food also tasted delicious. My pasta was gluten free which was lovely. For some reason they cut it in small pieces and it was watery but it was still very tasty. It was still chilly outside so we requested the tall heaters to be turned on which they did without any issues. We had a very cozy and romantic dinner outdoors, plenty away from people. There's nothing like sitting right next to the fire while eating dinner and having a delicious glass of wine. It was also great our server wore his mask correctly and kept his distance. We felt safe and happy we went to Coratti's for a change. Will be returning. read more

The food was delicious. my ravioli with tomato basil sauce and meatballs was really good and i look forward to eating my leftovers. My wife loved her chicken marsela. The house made soup was good. Matt the bartender knows how to make a perfect cosmo and tends a good bar. hence why he has a group of regulars that sit at the bar for hours. they were loud but He was great. He served me some good chainti too. The bread was sooooo good. It gets 3 stars only because we try MANY italian places so we have had better. but i do recommend this place. It does not open til 3 tho. ignore the 1 star folks on here. they dont know how to legitimately rate a restaurant. that is a ridiculous rating for this place. it was pricier than i expected so we wont be back soon for that reason only unless we see a coupon! read more

Wonderful restaurant in charming downtown Milford. Two stories of table space and a bar area with seating. The menu is Italian themed and delicious!! I threw my Mother a 70th birthday dinner there and the restaurant could not have given us a better evening. The food was wonderful, staff lovely, ambiance inviting and the price was reasonable. Fabulous cute quaint restaurant in downtown Milford. I have been going to here since I was a child ( back then it was Appetizers) so to my surprise it was a new restaurant and it did not disappoint. This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant and both times have been outside. Coratti's offers a traditional Italian dining experience from my limited perspective. Italian food is outside my personal scope however, I found myself at the aforementioned dining establishment due to my brother's birthday. He informed me that the proprietors also owned Greg's Pizza in Detroit. I knew Greg's made a damn good pizza pie so I was anxious to see what the restaurant had to deliver. I can't really remember the name of the dish that I ordered, but it's the only pizza that has crab, shrimp, and other sea food items on it. I took the true pesceterian route. Denise ordered the more traditional grilled salmon. The other participants in the party ordered several other items that I took pictures of (see pics). I hope it gives you an idea of quality of the presentation. I expected the pizza to smell fishy because usually when you get Seafood on a pizza it has a certain "aroma" let's say. So I usually don't go there... but today it looked interesting on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised. I knew the mozzarella would be impeccable. But the seafood mix was really tasty and the crust really made the the dish delectable. Stop by Coratti's! it's a great little spot in Milford Michigan. Hopefully you can make it to the inside. Hubby and I out to a couple local Milford places for drinks and appetizers last night. Coratti's stood out. Originally was sat a dark, tight small table in the corner upstairs. Hostess refused to move us when asked however a male waiter came by and immediately found us a different table. Thank you for your kindness. Our waitress Aimee v. was friendly, helpful and attentive. When asked, she offered suggestions in helping us choose drinks and appetizers. Hubby had an old fashioned which was one of the best he said. My mule was perfect. We ordered the fried calamari and artichoke tosca to share. Both were delicious and fairly priced. Although we live in Milford we have not dined at corattis in years. This will now be at the top of our dining choices. Looking forward to going back and hopefully we are lucky enough to have Aimee again. read more

Definetly underwhelming and a menu complete with under seasoned items. I don't know how you mess up minestrone but it was so bland and poorly done. The pasta sauce was also very bland and the bread that came with it. I came with a large party and the consensus was also the same of under seasoned bland food. We ordered our $11.00 drinks and they were good. The cheeseboard was good. The margarita pizza was sooo bad! A glob of cheese, no sauce and flavorless tomatoes. Zero flavor! I don't really complain but OMG. It was bad. The server was very nervous when I shared my opinion and unfortunately she became a ghost after we paid the bill, InFull. We took our mother and recently widowed aunt there for Mother's Day dinner on 5/13. The food was excellent, especially the recommended dish of halibut. I've been here twice with friends and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. The artichoke appetizer is excellent and everything including the bread with marinara sauce are yummy. I suggest eating upstairs at one of the tables facing Main. Both times we were lucky to have Izzy as our waitress and she was excellent. I tried spaghetti and Meatballs and the second time I had the bisque and chicken picatta. Overall its a cosy place with good food and great service. We used to dine here regularly and it was our favorite Italian place but the last couple of years I feel like the service has declined. Last couple of times we've dined here the experience was underwhelming. The main floor is usually very noisy, partially due to the bar area usually being filled up with patrons and the acoustics not really handling that very well. We try to dine upstairs if at all possible. Starting a couple years back, I noted that when I would order pasta with marinara sauce, the sauce had capers in it and it really changed the flavor, and not in a good way. I enjoy the tomato flavor of a marinara and it ruined it for me. Not sure when and why they started doing that. Last night we went there for dinner about 7. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. When it arrived and I took my first bite, I realized that the chicken had been pre-made and refrigerated. It was a little dry and chewy. I was so disappointed, as their dressing is so delicious and I was looking forward to this meal. Also, service was slow from start to finish. Also, when I went to slide into the booth, my foot slipped. There was a piece of the flooring that had come loose from the booth seat and was just laying there. That could have been really dangerous. Our server also never brought us any bread to enjoy before our meal. I'm really bummed about this. Will probably talk to a manager about my experiences the next time we go in there. read more

Came in for a family dinner on a Saturday and everything was great until a guest decided to start yelling f-bombs at a server because his meal was wrong. After the fifth one, I walked over to make sure the guy knew a 5-year-old was over there. The manager or whomever (I think Matt?) was apparently a buddy of this class act. Instead of kicking him out for demeaning an employee and causing a scene, he placated this guy instead. This restaurant clearly panders to people who are friends, even with vicious language and actions against staff. No apologies to me or my family happened, either. Find another place who takes care of their staff and guests who know how to act like adults. read more

Had dinner during Milford Memories this weekend. We eat here 2-3 times a year plus Milford Memories. We have always enjoyed their food but are extremely disappointed with our last meal. My wife and I both ordered the veal piccata. Normal price for this entree is $23.95 but today it was $29.95. That's not my gripe, my gripe is that the portions were extremely small compared to what Coratti's normally provides. There were 3 pieces of veal about 1 1/2 inches in circumference - for an additional $6.00! The couple we were with ordered veal parmigiana and their portions were two very large pieces of veal. My wife never finishes her dinner but she had to get a piece of pizza after dinner because she was still hungry. Very disappointing since we have been coming here for years but won't go back. read more

Took my friends from out of town here while they were visiting me so they could see some downtown Milford food. All of our food was great and dessert was phenomenal as well. Our waiter, Hunter B, was the best part about our visit and someone we cannot stop talking about. His presence was immediately soothing, he never failed to tend to our needs, and he had a very personable demeanor. I would personally recommend a visit to this restaurant and asking your hostess if Hunter B has any tables available for your party, this would allow for a great night out to dinner. read more

Decided to finally try more of the local restaurants, especially to support them during the covid-19 lockdown. We are very disappointed after hearing such good things about Coratti's. Especially after spending so much for 3 dinners. All three main dishes was burnt, dry, and cold. We picked it up at the exact time they told us and came straight home. 3 minutes away. Ownership appeared to care when this was posted on social media. But showed their true self when on the phone for a follow up. There are a lot of deserving Milford businesses to give your business to. Unfortunately, Coratti's on Main doesn't appreciate legitimate customer concerns, doesn't care about the quality of their expensive dishes and doesn't deserve your business at this time. read more

We had a couple of nice bottles of red wine (half-off on Wednesdays). The calamari piccante was a disappointment. The calamari itself lacked flavor so to get any type of taste to it, I had to scoop up some of the peppers, garlic and scallions. But they were tiny pieces so that meant also scooping up little bits of greasy fried breading. I won't order this again nor do I recommend it (obviously). My friends gave me a slice of their smoked chicken pizza which was very good. I especially like the Boursin cheese that was on it.. Chicken was cubed but on the stingy side (as in two cubes on my slice). This place has potential but simply putting Italian items on a menu and kicking up the price doesn't improve the quality or authenticity of the food. They need to work on delivering food that meets the promising menu. read more

Recently moved to Milford had my wife's 30th birthday party tonight. I couldn't be happier with the service / food. The food is always great, but as a former server I really appreciated the service. Our waitress split the tabs for a 14 top (not required), didn't screw up any of the bills, and provided great service. We will be back frequently! read more
