Toan made sure that not only did we have time for photos with family, friends, and bridal/groomsen, but also time for the couple photos too. His expertise and professionalism made such a positive impact on our wedding experience. We ended up going for 2 photographers and his price for 2 photographers was very reasonable. His assistance Hai also did amazing work. We were so happy we made this decision for 2 photographers. We only had 2 hours for photos with our parties before ceremony time and having 2 photographers made a HUGE difference as one could focus on the bride and bridesmaid and the other on the groom and groomsmen. I had explained ahead of time that the event…read morewas in a banquet room with low lighting and lots of bright colors, and that it was important to me that he capture photos of our family as well as all the guests. In that respect, Joel did a very good job. He photographed the newlyweds, the guests, and the performances thoroughly, and he worked quietly and unobtrusively throughout the evening. However, there were very few pictures of our family. I wished he had focused on getting more family pictures. The reason I am giving a 4-star review rather than 5 is due to a lack of clarity around post-processing. It was not communicated beforehand that the photos would be largely unedited. While the lighting was adjusted, many images ended up overexposed, and there were several distracting background elements--such as podiums, backpacks, and visible wires--that I had expected would be edited out. When I asked about this, I was told that additional editing would cost extra. There was also a lot of emphasis on a complimentary drone photo of the entire party, which unfortunately was not feasible since the event was indoors. I wish the focus had instead been on clearly explaining what level of editing was included and taking more family pictures. Overall, if you are looking for someone to efficiently cover an event and capture everyone present, Joel does a solid job. If you want more detailed editing or a specific finished look, I would strongly recommend clarifying those expectations in advance. I read many Yelp reviews before hiring him and did not see this mentioned, so I felt it was important to share.

Blown away by the magnitude of/number of customers coming in and out of the store. Different films available for purchase. Black and white is more expensive than color... When you call and ask where to park...they suggest Grocery Outlet (which is directly across the street) but that you should not exceed 1 hour. If you don't want to risk it, there's metered street parking as well. Why not 5 stars? The "welcome in" and "good bye" near the door is super annoying. Rather have "ding ding ding." Takes awhile to develop (specifically speaking for passport photos) but great quality nonetheless. Not much of a waiting space/area or a place to stand/sit (can get stuffy real quick).

The photos made me appreciate the venues in ways I had not thought of. Justin was able to turn around two photographers' and 10 hours worth of photos in 2 weeks. We were very impressed! Ted was incredibly patient with my kids and managed to capture so many sweet and adorable moments naturally. Vish is great with editing and they're generous enough to re-edited our photos when I requested and give a bonus image when he forgot to edit some of my newborn's pictures. Disappointing Maternity & Newborn Photoshoot Experience…read more We had a very disappointing experience across both our maternity and newborn photoshoots. For the maternity session, there was no proper pre-discussion about locations or outfits. We were simply asked to choose from previously taken images, which felt impersonal. During the shoot, the session felt rushed, and the photographer appeared disengaged, as if they wanted to finish early. From a 2-hour session, we could barely select around 10 usable images, which reflects the overall quality. We also noticed technical issues with the camera, including frequent error messages during burst shots. For the newborn session, we had informed them in advance that we would be about 30 minutes late due to our baby's doctor appointment. Despite this, one of the planned props was removed, which felt inflexible given the circumstances. There was also a significant delay of about four weeks beyond the expected timeline in delivering the edited images, without clear communication or accountability. After delivery, communication continued to be frustrating. We received emails indicating additional charges if image selections were not made within 30 days, which felt pressured--especially considering the delay in delivery was on their side. At the same time, when we requested a re-edit for one of the selected images, we had to follow up multiple times and did not receive timely responses. Additionally, some comments made during the newborn shoot were uncomfortable and inappropriate. Remarks about the baby's skin tone and comments regarding the mother's feeding choices were hurtful and unexpected, especially for a one-month-old baby. We expected a much more respectful and sensitive environment. There was also no prior discussion about props for the newborn shoot -- only a couple of setups were pre-arranged, and we felt limited to those options. Similar to the maternity shoot, the overall photography quality did not meet expectations. From a 1.5-hour session, we could barely select around 15 images, and the editing felt very basic, with some images appearing minimally edited. Given our experience, the overall service felt unprofessional, inflexible, and lacking in quality. These are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and we expected a much more thoughtful, skilled, and supportive experience. Also, please don't go based on Instagram followers alone -- our experience did not reflect the expectations set by their online presence. If you are looking for a photographer who communicates well, provides guidance, and creates a comfortable and enjoyable session -- especially with a newborn -- this may not be the right fit.
