The check in process took quite awhile as they had quite a few clients all arriving at the same time. When I got back to the office I met with a dentist who launched into a pretty hard one sales pitch for implants. I already had a dentist and a treatment plan lined up. It was unexpected and way to hardcore fore 7 in the morning. When we finally got to the extraction they didn't put me all the way like another dentist had done. It was a surreal experience. I could hear the staff talking and could feel the dentist moving from tooth to tooth. It wasn't painful but it was unexpected. The worst part was we went over a bill before the procedure and I signed off on it. After I got home I got out the quote the did before the procedure and there was a difference of $500 in my favor. After a couple of conversations they issued me a check instead of crediting my credit card. Between the high pressure sales technique for implants, being semi awake for the extractions and the billing error I can't recommend this company.

Leading up to surgery, I had constant text reminders going over payment estimates, and steps to take before surgery which I found extremely helpful. When I went in for surgery, I waited no longer than 10 minutes to go back for my X-rays and consultation. When I had had questions about finances, they were extremely kind and patient and walked me through exact costs of everything and what my insurance would and wouldn't cover. Dr. Blair Racker was my oral surgeon and did a phenomenal job of answering all my questions and all around was a nice guy. After surgery I was sent home with a big goody bag of aftercare items and instructions. I was in and out in less than an hour and a half from check in to leaving surgery. I am now 10 hours post wisdom teeth removal at the time of writing this, with virtually no pain and extreme satisfaction with my care!

Each call we go over my insurance info and each time they claim there is something new that was incorrect even though I had the correct info on my insurance card on the day of services. They say they are working on filing the claim correctly but my insurance company has not heard from them. I have reached out to the customer service team and would love resolution to this mess.

The issue that I had was with their financial coordinator, K. Santana. Before I agreed to any procedure, she gave me a printout of what the cost would be. Before I agreed to the cost, I asked her a minimum of three times if she was sure that this was the amount that I would be responsible for and she assured me, three times that yes it was. I said good because I can't afford the other amount that you were showing. And she said that with my insurance, the lower amount was the amount that I would be responsible for. So, based on that, I signed the papers and agreed to the procedure. About two weeks ago, I received a statement in the mail from them for twice the agreed-upon amount. I was shocked and notified them as soon as possible that there was apparently some error. The financial coordinator explained to me that she had mistakenly misrepresented to me what my portion of the bill would be. She kept apologizing and said it was an office error and she was extremely sorry. I said OK. I understand that we are all humans and we make mistakes however, I would never have signed an agreement to have the procedure done had I known that the higher amount was the amount I was going to be charged. I honestly think she just didn't know her job that well and misunderstood but still that's not my fault. I requested that they make an adjustment to my statement since I would never have had the procedure done had I've been given the correct amount. She claims that she spoke to her supervisor and that her supervisor, A. Bilava, said they would not be making any adjustments to my statement! As a person who is on a fixed income, this was devastating to me! I will do what I can to take care of it, (especially since it was mentioned that it would be sent to collections unless a payment was made) but I realize that there may be other people who may be considering them for their dental surgery. I want to warn others to be diligent when discussing finances with this particular organization. The fact that her supervisor supports this type of business practice is astonishing to me! I was back home for the holidays and my tooth was in severe pain. I was able to get in last minute and Dr. Ogunleye was able to extract my tooth. This oral surgeon is the gold standard in doctors!! He was the absolute kindest person I've ever spoke to and he was done within 20 minutes from injecting medication. I didn't go completely under and the entire time his assistant and him explained to me exactly what was going on. I was sent home with a mere six low-dose pain pills. By this morning, the pain had become unbearable. I called to request just a day or two more of medication to get through the worst of the recovery, and I was told someone would speak with the doctor and call me back. When I did hear back, I was informed that the doctor had declined to prescribe any additional medication and advised me to alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen every 4 hours. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am in agonizing pain, reduced to tears, and feel completely abandoned in my recovery. I understand the concerns around narcotics, but this was major oral surgery involving multiple infected teeth. To be left without adequate pain control is both cruel and negligent. I feel like I've been taken advantage of. You received nearly $5,000 for this procedure, and what I'm left with is trauma, unmanaged pain, and no meaningful support. This is not care--it's profit-driven indifference. Please do better. No patient should have to go through this.
