At our first visit with Dr. Williams, my husband and I explained our concerns about a long term issue our daughter has had. Other pediatricians have brushed it off, giving inadequate advice and not really addressing the issue. Dr. Williams took our concerns seriously and thoroughly explored possible causes, which we really appreciate! We've also seen Dr. Goff and Dr. Day when my daughter was sick and Dr. Williams was unavailable, and they were both fantastic as well! My wife went with our son for the first appointment. During which, my wife had weird vibe from Dr. Nuby, and insists that I go with her on the next one to see if I get the same vibe. She stated that Dr Nuby attempted to give my son a hug, which my son thoroughly disliked. Doctors SHOULD NOT be giving kids hugs at the end of the session, especially kids that were new to him. We arrive for the second appointment with our son at 12:40 for an 1PM appointment, on a Thursday By 1:45 we are still waiting in the waiting room. The nurses doesn't seem to know what is going on. There hasn't been a patient that went back since we arrived and the waiting room got packed after us. It's absolutely ridiculous and there was no reason Dr. Nuby should be running this far behind. Also, I should add that both waiting rooms are dirty and needs a cleaning. There are two separate offices which are across the street from each other on Elm St. They tell their clients to cross Elm Street, sans crosswalk, which is a heavily used road. It is very dangerous to be crossing the road without a crosswalk. We ended up leaving just before 2PM due to another appointment that we had scheduled across town.. We were needing a script filled for my son who has been on the same medication for a over a year. We needed this script filled due to my son leaving on vacation for Christmas vacation, which is 3 weeks. My son did would not have had enough meds to get him through the vacation. The office staff stated that they would take care of it. As Friday went on, we attempted to call the office, left messages, and had zero replies. We even called the pharmacy to have them send the refill request to Dr. Nuby. Through the weekend, we were very worried that Nuby would not fill the prescription, again, for a medication that my son had been on for over a year and a half. Dr. Nuby had ALL of the previous medical records. On Monday, during business hours, after my wife said she wasnt able to reach anyone at the office, I went into the office and spoke with the office staff that stated they would have it filled. They were shocked to hear that the script had not been approved by Dr. Nuby. Raquel stated that she sent an "urgent" message to Dr. Nuby, and said that he would most definitely give us a call that day about the prescription. I wasn't shocked when Dr. Nuby failed to reach out to us on Monday. At this point, my wife called her old doctor in Kansas and told them our situation. They said that if Nuby wouldn't fill the prescription by Tuesday, that they would fill it again since our son was going out of town on Thursday. I went in again on Tuesday. The same office staff were concerned that Dr. Nuby had not returned any of our calls. One of them said she would walk me across the street and have Dr. Nuby or the office manager talk to me. I ended up having to wait in the waiting room and then one of their back offices for about 20 minutes. FINALLY, Dr. Nuby came in. There were no "hellos". No pleasant greetings. All he said was, "We need to talk." Then he proceeded to accuse my wife of screaming and yelling on the Thursday when we "left our appointment EARLY" without being seen. Mind you, we had waited over an hour and left at 2PM, our appointment was at 1PM. Then he had the audacity to state that he was in with a patient that had told him that they wanted to commit suicide ( HIPPA VIOLATION!!!), and that there was no way he was going to leave that patient to take care of us. At the end of our "conversation", which mainly consisted of Dr. Nuby accusing my wife and I of being a terrorist to his office staff, Dr. Nuby said - "Maybe its time that you find yourself another doctor. I don't need people like YOU in here." Take that for what you may...... Thank you Dr. Nuby. Thank you for allowing me to highly discourage ANYONE in the Denton Community to steer clear of your practice. Thank you for showing me that you are highly unprofessional and outright rude to your so-called clients. I would recommend that if you have a child that you truly care about, do not take them to Dr. Nuby. We will not be coming back and will be switching doctors. We should have read the reviews prior to choosing Dr. Nuby, which I highly encourage each and every one of you to do so.

All of these incidents happened with in a few months of each other and some overlapping. To keep it short they missed plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome in babies) in my infant twins. I had a wonderful friend encourage me to get a second opinion after the PA reassured me for MONTHS that it would "round out." Turns out my daughter was SEVERE requiring two helmets and had a misaligned jaw. I brought to her attention that my 7 year old had an uneven scapula and looked as if it was early onset scolioses. I had to ask for PT and that was all we were given. No referral to a specialist or even recommendation to see one. We were told it would be fine and she'd grow out of it. We are seeing a surgery specialist next month. The last straw was my infant son at 7 months went into the office because he was crying, wouldn't eat and kept pulling on his ears. she said they were kind of red and he could get an antibiotic if it didn't get better. It didn't get better so we tried the antibiotic. He wouldn't eat for weeks. I called the office and tried to get some help. All they wanted was another office deductible to tell me to try another antibiotic. This went on for months where he wouldn't eat. She wasn't concerned and said he would out grow it and it was a phase. After a visit with a GI Specialist it turns out he was allergic to his formula I had breast fed until he was 7 months old). By the time we got him to a specialist after dealing with her nonsense and run around for months he was considered FAILURE TO THRIVE. He hadn't gained an ounce in over THREE MONTHS. I am all for holistic approach to medical care! I love my naturopath doctor & facility. This is not a qualified office to deal with more than a cold or flu. Side note: you will only ever see the PA. EVER. The Dr at the practice lives in Colorado. When I delivered my twins the nurses encouraged me to find a different practice and I didn't listen. I was warned.

We started with our children seeing Dr. Dutton paying cash. They had a good experience so we returned multiple times. Come my daughter's annual visit this year, we were told her annual would be no copay since we had insurance this year. I specifically called before her appointment to verify. We saw a different provider because Dr. Dutton was not available. Dr. Mwirigiri performed my daughters annual and discussed my daughters ongoing condition, eczema. She said it has improved significantly from the cream her previous provider, over a year ago, prescribed. In the moment, Dr. Mwirigiri recommended she call in a new prescription for the same cream my daughter has been using for years. Come to find out three months later, I receive a bill in the mail for $325. Dr. Mwirigiri justified the added expense from her prescribing a "new medication". When I called them back, I spoke in circles with their front office for almost an hour and was even chuckled at. I was refused an office manager or someone that could rectify the situation since I was blindsided with an unexpected and unjustified expense. This does not surprise me as the last time I had a conversation with their office manager, she refused to bill my insurance, which is different than my children's, even though I was in network. She said this was a decision made on their part because my insurance takes too much effort to bill. I will be reporting to TDI if my account is not rectified within 48 business hours originating 9:46 AM on 6/18/26.
