There is so much diversity in their flavors, and all the staff is so friendly and helpful. Very friendly staff and very helpful, but the beer selection wasn't too diverse. A flight comes with 4 beers instead of the usual 6, but each beer was special in its own way. Specifically, the ginger beer was very unique compared to anything I've tasted before. However, although there's nothing wrong with the place, just not much that stands out in my personal opinion. Solid brewery with good beer, inviting atmosphere, and decent prices. My family and I went here the other day and we had a great experience. The staff were friendly and other than the strange music being DJ'd in the corner, everything was above average. We tasted a flight that consisted of the IPA, pale ale, blonde kolsch, wheat IPA, oatmeal Stout and enjoyed them all. We ended up getting pints of the blonde and IPA. Stereo is what craft breweries used to be. Great beer in an unassuming space. They have a lot to offer for beer, from German styles to classic IPAs to sours and specialty beers. We tried most of what they had through taster flights, and found that everything was well done and true to the style it was designed to be. A nice small space in an industrial looking area, it felt like what a craft brewery should be. They had lots of board games to play. Their calendar included games nights, trivia nights, and other fun events. The music was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a couple beers with good friends. In fact you can often find Rick, one of the owners, wandering up front and looking to strike up a conversation about one his beers or good music in general that is themed with the beer. The atmosphere is welcoming and one in which the staff actually takes the time to get to know you by name. What a Brewery! Let me start by saying Thank you Dylan, Mike and Amanda. So friendly, helpful and supportive of their customers. We have been going to this Brewery for about 2 years now and it never disappoints. The beers are always delicious, and they are constantly trying out new and creative recipes. (And not moving their whole entire menu to IPA's...Thank goodness) This last Saturday we came in for a couple beers and were greeted by Dylan (Who we have met in the past) and basically gave us a 101 on how beer is made and what goes into a delicious brew from start to finish. He was so passionate about it, that we couldn't help but ask more questions (while drinking of course). One thing it made us realize is that beer making isn't easy...so congrats Stereo for doing what you are doing! While we stayed past our welcome and they were closing the place down, we also got to talk with Mike. Great craft brewery in Placentia. Nice assortment of styles. My personal favorite is the Tuff Gong (Mango IPA). The wife tried some of the Passion Fruit and Raspberry styles which she liked. Entire service staff is pretty awesome as well. read more

My top fav are Robot- imperial red ale 9.5% you might be doing the Robot after a few of those Hazy Jane - ginger wheat 5.0% it's different and unique which is a plus on my end Tuff Gong- mango ipa 7.0% tastes like fresh mangos yummmmm! Location: located in a industrial settings where all Anaheim brewery seems to be designed after. Parking is vast, and definitely a spot to place if your doing a crawl. Atomsphere: place is brightly lit, and has a welcome feel. i like places like that instead of the dark and grim brewery where its just too gloomy. the demographics is more older base, and it doesn't have much people when i went, probably due to it being relatively new business. Their bar area has a nice marble/granite settings which i like because it feels like a kitchen setting, but that is a matter of personal taste. Beer: They have only 5 beers on tap right now since they just opened up. the 2 unique beers that had were the ginger beer which had a pronounced taste of ginger in it which made unique and tasty. the other was the red ale which was based on the scottish or irish style which i regretfully can't remember. the other 3 beer where run of the mill beer that almost every brewery is doing these days. They do growler fills. conclusion: Not bad for starting out. will hit them up again when they do more experimentally brews. read more

The owners are so hands on and are always making sure things are running as they should be. My guy rick makes some of the best beers I have ever tasted. Good beers on tap. Since I've only ever been to one other brewery before, take my review with a grain of salt. The overall experience for me was a bit forgettable. Nice brewery tucked into an industrial park in Anaheim. There was plenty of parking and for grub there was a food truck parked right out front. The layout of Stereo is good with several long tables and a few bar stools at the taps. Lots of board game options which is on trend right now. The really cool thing about this place is they actually spin vinyl ... no pandora here. The owner and his staff were friendly and helpful. On his suggestion, I tried a flight; dealers choice. The beers were good, but nothing really unique or complex for my taste They were all single note and fairly simple. The Wall of Sound Stout was my favorite of the selections I tried. They don't have any standout beers right now to bring in the true craft beer lovers but they will appeal to those looking to break into the craft beer scene. read more

Though some of the staff seemed overwhelmed with the capacity at times, I never felt disregarded or upset by it. I really liked the setup of Stereo and that they have an actual record player that plays vinyl. Like, it's not for show but really there's Pandora or something else happening. You can even bring in your vinyl and they'll play it for you. That's pretty cool! They haven't been open too long so they don't have a crazy lineup of different beers yet. We tried a flight of everything and everything was good. It wasn't great, but it was good. The only one that I absolutely didn't like was the ginger one. But, I like ginger in small amounts. I really liked the Robot Red because it wasn't obnoxiously hopped like other Reds. I also liked the Wall of Sound Stout. Even as an oatmeal stout, it didn't have that heavy and slightly bitter taste like other oatmeal stouts. The IPA and Pale Ales were both pretty balanced and weren't palate wreckers. I think this is one of those places that you can go with people that are just getting into craft beer and aren't ready for anything too crazy. The service was great and I think they will grow into becoming a really awesome brewery. read more
