I have been here before when another stereo place did horrible work on a car that I had I came here a few years already and they did great work but just recently I had a new double din installed pioneer 2400 and a alarm system. The stereo did not work the android auto kept failing the Google maps said it was trying to find location while I was driving using the navigation so I told myself I will return the next day so they can troubleshoot it maybe something went wrong. So I went on with my day about 2 hours later my alarm stopped working as well I would be right next to it and it would not lock so that upset me even more with the fact the stereo did not work as well so the next day I went back so they can check everything stereo was working and they changed the "brain" of my alarm I was like cool it's working so i left literally 15 minutes later my stereo stops again on the freeway I call back to let them know and they said bring it back and they would switch it out with a new model they just received the 2500 so i was like ok what ever I just want a working radio with navigation (android auto) so I get to work and once again my alarm does not work so I call back again and let them know and they said bring it back. hence this will be the 2nd time!! Bringing my car back for the same things I said I would be able to soon since I have things coming up and I'll be away for a while so I brought it back about a week later they switched my stereo like they said to the DVD stereo I was thinking ok that's nice of them but it was still the 2400 not the 2500 like they told me prior I was like the 2400 was giving me issues with the android auto using navigation so I was like I'll try it out and they changed the remotes and brain again on the alarm everything worked for one day!! And not to mention that the owner Paul gave me quite a bit of attitude when I came back the second time to get the stereo and alarm replaced again because of them so i was sitting in my car after getting the stereo switched twice and the alarm brain twice and remotes once upset mad pissed because I spent money my income tax to get these things done and it's nothing but trash equipment it's not working so today 4/24/2019 at approximately 11:50 I came in to change just my alarm to a higher alarm that Paul told me he would switch for free I told the heavy set bald guy that works there Paul said he would switch me to viper instead of the compustar alarm and he wanted to sell it to me at almost $200 I was mad I said no I've been here 3 times already for this and I'm not paying anymore. Oh not to mention they said it was my phone that didn't work with my stereo I have a galaxy S9+ and a 2014 Chevy I should have no issues at all with the stereo everything is up to date everything works fine and with the alarm they were saying it was my tint causing the issue I'm sorry but no I will never be returning to this place they are rude and do not care for there customers thank you for reading and please save your money and find another place to go for your car read more

RUN AWAY!!! never buy anything from this place unless you love really horrible customer service and paying for speakers they never installed(i later found this out when i had a competitor audio shop install my new alpines) when I first entered the store I was greeted by assistant manager Eddie who knew everything and at first told me that he's been doing it for quite some time anyways I ended up buying a nice Alpine head unit and was getting a quality head unit(another lie, they sold me a box and installed a refurbished showroom model) according to Eddie. So they installed it in my car, shook my hand and told me to call him if i needed anything (screwed up i know). Later that week when I went back in because the unit was shutting off on its own, reseting it self to factory settings, sometimes not turning on until i restart the car. (Later found out it was because of there piss poor installation job) i run into eddie again but this time he has no idea who i am. After hours of "reminding him" and having them trouble shoot it they tell me to come back next week so they can talk to the alpine manufacuture. So like anyone else who thinks there being helped i complie. Fast forward to two weeks i am now telling the owner about my experiance and tells me he will personally call alpine and get it fixed. One month later and no call. When i get him on the phone and re explain my situatation and ask for a refund he starts cussing me out on the phone and shouting that hes a proessional ( yea right dirtbag) moral of the story. My Uncle recommended me to come here. I'm so glad that I did because they have awesome customer service. They looked up my car and gave me three different options that will fit in my car. They never pushed anything on me and they let me listen to the quality of speakers right there in the shop before making my decision. After purchasing the speakers they helped me with installation and they did it quickly with no waits. It turned out that the speakers in the back were slightly larger, they didn't charge me extra for the different size either. Super helpful and would recommend coming here. Nice family owned spot. I have been coming to this store for years, to give you an idea my 2001 Tahoe (back when I had it ) got its first set of speakers there..I was satisfied with the service and had been a loyal customer since .. 8 cars later including , girlfriends ,wife , kids and many friends at my recommendation ...Never did I feel like I was getting ripped off.. and if there was ever a problem.. it was fixed right away .. until this Sunday ... I had to comeback for a 2nd time to get a head unit (which I bought there and they installed ) replaced... the guy at the counter "Sam " at least what he said name was.. He was extremely rude , refused to make things right .. I had purchase a Marine radio ( for my jeep) replaced all factory speakers , added two more and a subwoofer ( I spent money there ) I didn't have any reason why not to ... I trusted them ,I always have. Well this guy was rude .. he told me that he would not . WOULD NOT change the radio for a different one .. a cheaper one actually (one that might work ) .. I told him I didn't want money back .. credit me the difference and I would get a 5 channel amp to power all my speakers . The guy then began to use his calculator quoted me some outrageous price and told me in order to get what I wanted I'd have to pay 140 more .. I questioned his math and he got upset .. I wanted to know , if I was getting a cheaper radio (non marine rated ) and upgrading to a 5 channel amp (returning the 4 channel I just bought) I'd have to pay almost 3 times (all money added; difference of radio cost , return of 4 channel amp ) the cost of just buying a 5 channel amp .. he then told me the radio I wanted was 199 plus install .. I found that to be weird so I fact checked him with several reputable retailers (including the one he suggested ) the stereo was $109. At the most expensive store .. I asked if installation was going to be $100 the guy actually said yes !!!! I almost lost my mind .. I asked to speak to the owner ( with whom I have dealt with several times ) he told me he was off and wouldn't bother him with my concern . Long story short .. I had spent way too much already and needed my stereo working .. after rounds and rounds of negotiations I had to make a decision and paid 80 bucks to get a different ( cheaper , but woking stereo ) a 5 channel amp and my system back up again . For the first time I felt I was taken ...but paying 80 to get the system I spent way much more working was the least of my concerns ... it was the way I was treated ... I will not return to this shop ... I will not send anyone there again and if anyone asks me .. including whoever reads this review .. use your phone , price check this people and don't take their substandard equipment for prime prices .. it was a good shop, now it's a ripoff store at best . I am going to start by saying that I opened an account with yelp just so I can write this review which is not a good review and I am not sure if I can not even given a star because they truly don't even deserve 1 star based on my recent experience. Up until today I had been going to this place for over 10yrs and had different equipment installed in different vehicles but today I truly felt I had been screwed over all this time and can't believe in took me all this time to finally realized that and was very disappointing considering I had been a returned customer. I recently had a new system installed and when even the local stations' reception was so bad, my Sirius Xm didn't have reception, and my buttons on my steering wheel weren't working properly after the system was installed I decided to go back only to find out I apparently needed to pay for some cables(tuners) which I was never told and it would cost me additional couple of hundred dollars. I was so upset and wanted my system fixed I drove around and not too far from there I found this place that fixed the problem for half the price and from this other source I also found out that apparently I had been charged by stereo USA plus and I paid for something that they told me I would need and was separately when in reality was included in the box being part of the unit, yet it was another reason why I felt I had really been ripped off. They were very rude especially the one that calls himself the manager.. I hope my experience helps others not to fall for their tricks because as one other review said they promise you one thing and they do a different one. This place is a nightmare! I went today to install my Ottonavi k series on my Honda Accord. I was greeted by a heavy set man, I told him what I needed done (Installation) he said sure I can do it for 100 I said yes, he immediately started to create an invoice for me after he said "let me check you in" then he said swipe your card I said don't you need my name and information, he didn't even answer. At that moment I wanted to get out of there as fast as possible but had to get it done today so I swiped. The guy working on the cars were being very rude specially this guy mike I believe was his name, he was upset a customer had requested another guy work on his car so he took out his frustration on everyone else as he passed by me and another customer he kicks a cup on the floor and said you know there is a trash can over there. (The trash was there when I got there.) Then I notice him pulling in my car.(Not good!) He walks by us again and said you know I feel like everyone is looking at me today I don't why wtf is people's problem. This guy is a joke and is very unprofessional and so is the other guy that charged me. Better off going to ten 2 ten stereo shop. I recently visited Stereo Plus USA on July 23rd. Welcomed by a very large man taking his blood pressure in his make shift stable. I originally went looking at double den head units for my Toyota. I've been a fan of the car audio industry for many years now having many types of systems in many vehicle's. Knowing some of the best installers and fabricators around. As the fat man approached he asked what I was looking for. I expressed interest in a double den unit and asked for pioneer. I was shown an AVH - 4100NEX double den unit. I asked how much, the fat man replied $400.00 normally $700.00. Not knowing anything of this unit I move about looking at other units and questioning there features. I then expressed interest in a steering module and a converter for the JBL system as well as a dash kit. The fat man blearts out $700.00 for everything! As I'm thinking it over looking at other items then leave the store to think about it a bit more. I call a few friends and ask what they think of the $400.00 head unit. All of them agree and said smoken deal. So I go back excited to make this purchase. As he's writing up the sales slip I admittedly must have had my head up my ass! He writes down Pioneer AVH-4100 NEX $750.00. , kit Toyota no price , kit module no price. And lastly tax $50.00 totaling $800.00. As I'm looking over the equipment he charges the card and walk out in a daze of ooh ooh new toy to play with. As I'm home that evening I start thinking wait a minute! This I look on line for the cost of the dash kit. $25.00 bucks all day long. One module $50.00 the other 75.00. Then I start thinking $400.00 , $50.00, $75.00 and a dash kit I was never quoted. $525.00 and OK $25.00 for the dash kit. So $550.00. I return to the store the very next day. I'm greeted by the fat man once again and question my second module that was ordered. He replies 10:30 or 11:00 I reminded him he said by 10:00am for sure. Then I ask him do me a favor please. Break this down the cost of everything please. He chuckled no my friend I give you package deal. I say no maybe fucked up deal! Now as he attempts to justify his cost, he says your not happy bring everything back! I give you your money back. As I say OK and head for the door to get everything from my car he says no wait! I give you good deal! I said once again break down the cost. Suddenly the radio now cost $499.00 one module $50. The other $75.00 and the face plate $75.00 but now I need another module at $75.00 dollars. Plus my tax just off the top of his fat head $50.00 for a total of $824.00 he says I only charge you $800.00 my friend. So if your confused I only needed the head unit new face plate and two modules. Not three! Nor did I see need the overly absorbed cost of modules and plates. I will never shop here again and highly suggest you don't as well. I wish I could post a copy of my sales receipt or maybe I can. Anyhow I plane to ride this out to the end. Better business bureau, state tax franchise, and pioneer just so they no the shady way the fat man sells there well respected products. read more

First let me say I'm cheap! Second, I'm a good shopper. I wanted to replace the stock stereo in my 2012 Toyota Tundra. I'm not an expert so I asked a lot of people a lot of questions. I was online for weeks studying. When I went into Stereo USA Plus, Anthony the salesman and Paul the owner both greeted us. They asked what we were looking for and not at all pushed us into what they wanted to sell. They gave us several options and showed us the advantage of each option. They gave us high end option, affordable options, and even gave us options to get less so that we could save and tricks to get more of what we wanted. I never planned on making the deal today, I was just in for a quote. Without any pressure, I knew that Anthony was the guy I wanted to work with. The prices were honest on everything we would give them ten stars if it were an option. The first thing Anthony asked when we decided to buy the stereo was if we would like to have it installed today. I never even imagined that was an option. The install guys were fantastic.
