Sterling's is a semi-upscale steakhouse in Bartlesville. I've been for dinner and had their excellent sunday brunch several times. The dinner service was very good. The menu has a full slate of steakhouse fare and a decent wine list. The brunch service was good, even with a large group. What a disappointment. This place presents itself as a higher end restaurant in Bartlesville (although Bartlesville doesn't have any real high end restaurants). I had the rib eye & the steak was of poor quality, full of gristle and more fat than a decent rib eye should have. The salad was as miserable as the steak - almost completely ice berg lettuce. Sterlings is a must have when I come home from college. The filet is cooked to perfection pretty much every time. The service is sometimes slow, especially if you have a large group, but what can you expect? All of the sides compliment whatever you're having as an entree. The spinach artichoke dip is one of my favorites, and I only have 3 places where I like the spinach artichoke dip. The seasonal vegetables are always creative and different. One of my favorite was some roasted corn with bell peppers. For dessert, you must try the Bananas Fosters. It is TO DIE FOR. That is my all time favorite dessert. Food is okay (one of the best in Bartlesville), but overpriced. The service is what makes going to this restaurant miserable though. I haven't been able to get out of there in under 2 hours. I would recommend ordering an appetizer just to distract you from how long you have to wait to get your entree. read more

Another fine meal at Sterling. I ordered the Rib Eye with salad and potatoes. Others, the Prime Rib, Halibut on special that night, and Salmon. Prepared to perfection with excellent service. Good appetizers included Crab Cake and Coconut Shrimp. Restaurant was full on a Friday night. And the prices on the Twilight Menu for dinner orders placed by 5:45 PM can't be beat. read more

We ate Sunday brunch - what a treat! It was a wonderful mix of breakfast and Lunch options, with an omelet bar and freshly carved (wonderful) prime rib. Service was impeccable. Would love to give it 4.5 stars, but that wasn't an option. read more

Absolutely amazing. This little restaurant serves great food. The steaks that were ordered were cooked exactly as requested. The potato skin appetizers were surprisingly great. I mean it's a potato and bacon. But these. These were the best I have had. The service is bar none. Are there better places. Yes. But I have to drive 2 hrs to pay twice as much for the same thing. If all else (bread, salad, vegetables, service) measured up to the filet, I would rate this restaurant 5-star based only on the filet and baked potato as a starting point. Among the restaurants I have visited, the only filets that come close are at Charlie's in Guymon, OK; The Bull Ring, Santa Fe, NM; and Nebraska Steakhouse, NYC. The filet's are to die for!! Thick and juicy and always cooked perfectly. No steak sauce needed because they are deliciously seasoned. Comfortable seating and quiet enough to carry on conversation. The Publick House - Sterling's bar area - is a great place to start your evening with an adult beverage and appetizer. Again - comfortable seating so stay awhile. Great meal last week. I had an excellent, perfectly cooked chicken piccata with mashed potatoes, and it was juicy and tasty. The salad to start was just a salad, but it was fresh, on a cold plate, and very nice. Nice atmosphere, nothing fancy or hip, but quiet enough that we could hole a conversation with no trouble, which we enjoyed. Our beverage service was a slow, mostly because we were there early on a Friday, and the bar was packed for happy hour. read more

This place is a joke! This is our first time here. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of water brought to the table. We waited 57 minutes for our waitress to bring a piece of bread to our table while still waiting on our entrée's to be cooked. It's now been 72 minutes and still no entrée's. It's just my boyfriend and I. Oh wait, our appetizer of the crab cakes just got here. Basically it's just a glorified tuna patty. BURNT, I might add. No seasoning. Can't tell the waitress, she's MIA right now. I am so disappointed. I'll be writing another review when I receive my GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST in about another 3 hours. read more

Ate here a year or so ago and was very disappointed. Friends told us to give them another try. We did and have been there twice in the past month and are going back for Valentine's dinner. The food was superb both times. The Ribeye is one of the best I have ever had. For the price, it is definitely the best for the dollar. read more

The worst service ever! The place was completely empty and our waitress was the worst. Definitely won't be going back.

The Prime Rib, salmon, coconut shrimp, and turtle cheesecake are really good (I'm in a rut and that's all I order lol). A friend and I are regulars there, and when we get particular waitresses, they literally "anticipate our every need", and have become like friends. Nice quiet atmosphere (except at times we can hear lively people in the adjoining bar area). Attire, we've seen everything from nice casual to Prom dresses and tuxes. There's a private dining room in the back, and another room to the side that can be individuals or groups. It's a bit more expensive than some other places, but I like it best. They have a Twilight Menu from 4:30-6, and that's when we go. read more

I mostly like this restaurant except for the Sunday brunch. Food is mostly good. Drinks were good. Just wish they used butter instead of margarine. Yes, you can really taste the difference. I don't really like animal heads as the decor but hey that's the owners choice. read more

My wife and I ate at Sterlings 1/19/13. We didn't have reservations and they were booked up due to it being symphony night, But the hostess who was very polite accommodated us and gave us a table for two in the bar area which was fine with us. Our waitress finally arrived at our table took are food and appitizers order and ran off without ever taking our drink orders. As we sat patiently looking for our waitress we noticed people who arrived after us was getting their meals and we hadn't even gotten any drinks yet. We eventually asked another server if she could get our drinks. Eventually our meal arrived at our table and after setting our plates in front of us our server ask if there was anything else we would require and I replied I would like some ketchup. After she left to get what I had requested I began to season my potato and cut up my steak. Once again she was MIA for some time as my food got colder. Out of nowhere she showed back up and asked if we'd like "to go" boxes? I replied "No I'd like my ketchup" since I hadn't had one bite yet. Finally I got what I requested and by this time my meal was cold I had two bites of my potato and three bites of my steak which was dry and overcooked to boot. My wife also was very unsatisfied with her meal (shrimp skampy). When we saw our waitress again we ask for the check and for the "to go" boxes she'd offered before. By this time she could tell we were aggravated to say the least. When she brought the ticket back she made a weak attempt at an apology and said my steak would be comped ($20). I paid the ticket and left a $20 tip (the price I would have paid for the steak if charged). My dog however had no complaints about the steak, potato or shrimp dinner and I'm sure he would recommend it to all his K9 friends I however would suggest either Outlaws steak house or Montana Mike's for better food, better prices and much better service! read more
