Seasonal Danish - Cheese Apple Cinnamon

Staying at the Thompson Savannah this is the perfect walk downstairs right next to the hotel for some great coffee. Got the vanilla bean iced coffee both times. The food, mainly the pastries, stole the show. Bar far the best item was the seasonal pastry, the cinnamon sugar dusting and pastry dough alone could have been an item on the menu. Paired with the apple and cheese middle, perfection. Coffee cake was crispy on the edges but extremely airy and spongy in the middle. Breakfast sandwich was good, a bit too much egg for me but regardless had great flavor from the bread bun and bacon.

This was pretty good stop. 3 stars are for the pricing. So expensive. We ordered the cold brew, bottle iced tea, Bialy, and a chocolate muffin (and one dog treat) it was $32.00. The cold brew was just ok and small size. The Bialy was the Winner! It was so delicious, it had whipped feta, egg and bacon. We also had the chocolate muffin that had a great crumb but the flavor was off. We could not put our finger on it. It was $6.00 for a small muffin and I don't feel like the price was justified. The service was good and the breads looked great. We selected this bakery because we stayed at the hotel.

Baked goods. Special today was the frosted strawberry lemonade muffin.

Cute little coffee shop attached to the Thompson Savannah and across from new apartments. Vibe is mellow, homey, mix of modern and traditional decor. Plenty of seating indoor and outside. Easy parking lot behind the shop. Specials today (August 2025) were the lavender cold brew with honey cold foam $8. Also the frosted strawberry lemonade muffin. $6 I got the iced latte (comes in small and large) (espessso based with skim milk, vanilla bean syrup and honey cold foam on top). $5.61. Amaze!! My husband got the iced coffee with oat milk. Basic bitch. $4.67 The only thing missing is blended drinks, sometimes a blended mocha or coffee really hits the spot in a hot city. The cashier was super friendly and took the time to explain the difference between the regular iced coffee and the iced espresso.

The food was amazing. The croissant was fresh, flaky and crunchy- absolutely delicious. I also had a latte which was a delight. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, it could use some more cafe tables though. The service was friendly and timely. Pretty great spot for amazing pastries and coffee!

We stayed at the Thompson last weekend, and I was so excited to get breakfast at this bakery. The food was delicious. We got breakfast sandwiches and I loved it. The croissants were also wonderful! I am giving 3 stars because it seemed overpriced, and because of the wait I experienced. It wasn't very busy when I got there, but then the line got super long after I was waiting for my order. (I ordered pre-made breakfast sandwiches that just needed to be heated up and croissants from the case). I don't think they had a good system in place because the person who took my order got stuck behind the espresso machine after someone came in trying to pick up their online order. And then groups who ordered with another staff member after me got their large orders first. (They got similar items to me). Maybe it was a one-off situation, but the wait was just too long for items that were pre-made.

Solid 3.5. Pretty good but room for improvement. Friendly staff but messed up a lot of our to go order. No sauces or mayonnaise or anything to take for their to go sandwiches. And they have several sandwiches. Decent amount of pastries but for as much as this was hyped it wasn't a ton like I expected. Smaller glass case with two types of muffins, two types of cookies, cinnamon rolls, some crumble cake and a croissant or two. Meh. Plenty of coffee and seasonal drinks. Very open and airy inside with high ceilings. Not a ton of seating unless it's warm enough to also sit outside. Sunlight streams in and blinds you in early am from high windows - not pleasant. -- Later we had the sandwiches and the roast beef was kind'a small and fell apart in the box. My club sandwich was really hard to eat bc the bread was hard as a rock - it wasn't bad, it's just French loaf and super hard - almost impossible to bite through the top/bottom with the items on it so you had to really try and then everything came off.... not good for to go. The blueberry muffin is AMAZING. Highly, highly recommend.

Cute little bakery with a good selection of pastries. The croissants are flakey and the filling in the cheese danish is creamy. I've definitely had better pastries but overall these are good but not "oh my god" amazing. There is only one barista so the coffee takes a little long to get. There is an option to order ahead of time on their website but for some reason it didn't work when I tried it.

After checking out of the Thompson, I stopped by Stevedore Bakery at 8am for some quick breakfast items before heading to the airport! So happy I did this. Everything is freshly baked. The chocolate croissant and cinnamon rolls are huge! Both costs $6 each which was on the pricey end for other pastries I had in Savannah. However the flavor was amazing for both so order these of you are trying to choose! I also got freshly squeezed orange juice which was really yummy. They have indoor and outdoor seating and you can view the river depending on where you sit.

Visited this bakery while in town for the Every Woman's Marathon. It was just around the corner from the hotel we were staying at. During our first visit here my sister and I ordered matcha lattes and the pimento turkey sandwich. The menu doesn't have the prices of things which would have been nice since I was shocked that our 2 matcha lattes and sandwiches came out to about $43 which seemed a bit steep for the size of the sandwich. Service was good. We did have to wait a bit for our items but they did come out good. The sandwich was a cold turkey sandwich with a pimento cheese spread type of thing. Our matcha lattes were good, not too milky. There is plenty of seating and the windows all around bring nice natural lighting which was nice. The next day, we stopped in for a coffee in the morning, I got a simple white mocha latte which was good, not overly sweet. I'd return if I stayed in the same area but I would recommend putting the prices on the menu for people who may be on a budget.

Cute little spot to hit before walking the boardwalk. Staff super friendly and latte and mimosa were good. Mimosa was overpriced in my opinion especially since I had to buy a bottle of OJ plus a glass of champagne, but alas, paid for it was.

Stevedore is appropriately named for a bakery in the East Wharf that anchors the beautiful Thompson Hotel. The feel of the hotel is being in Paris, so it seems appropriate to have a patisserie included. And what an addition! We sampled the breakfast sandwich and a pain au chocolate. The executive pastry chef comes from Husk and he knows bread. Oh the roll of the breakfast sandwich was nothing short of perfection! The croissant was flaky and delicious with high quality but not gooey chocolate. There are an array of fabulous looking desserts and pastries as well as sandwiches and salads after 11AM. They also sell bread loaves. The sandwiches were $7 and we felt that matched the quality. It's the perfect way to start a Savannah day. This is a must on your next Savannah trip or your breakfast splurge in your own city. See website for hours, menu and location. You can also place a pick up order here, via the Yelp app.

Great small place to grab a bite. Modern, cozy and with great food. The only thing that left a bland test in my mouth was the so so customer service. Would definitely visit again though.

After a long walk, I was in the mood to stop for a cold drink and a little treat! I saw this bakery and decided to stop in. The cashier was kind and polite. They offered to have the muffin warmed up but I decided not to. I think next time I will warm it up because the muffin tasted a little stale. Also I didn't know the iced tea wasn't sweet so next time I will order a different beverage. The inside is cute with tables and a nice lounge area in the middle. There are also tables outside.

The lemon poppyseed muffin, still warm from the oven, was like a little piece of heaven. The lavender mint tea were divine.

I got their chicken sandwich, while the rest of my family got the Dubai chocolate French toast, Bubble and squeak. My grilled chicken sandwich had a vast majority of flavors varying in the sandwich. The chicken was my only set back, it came off as under seasoned and bland, while the white bread and cheese melted together with the fresh lettuce. I also got their iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I was heavily surprised from how flavorful and sugary it was, I highly recommend this drink to any matcha lovers out there. The Dubai chocolate French toast was beautifully put together and delicious, shared across my family. From what I heard the bubble and squeak was amazing and was not too heavy or dull in flavor and is a great vegetarian option. Overall, the atmosphere inside was very light and put together, the creme walls contrasted perfectly with the historic stone walls. If you or your family are visiting savannah Georgia, I highly recommend Collins Quarter!

That drink is a masterpiece and lives rent free in my head. I still regret not going back for another one while in Savannah. As a french toast lover who also happens to love pistachios and chocolate, I obviously got the Dubai Chocolate French Toast. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the french toast, it was the perfect portion to split between two people without being overwhelmingly sweet. I hate when these things are humongous in size and then you can't finish it and end up wasting most of it away. The best part was Doki Doki' Pistachio-Crusted Pistachio Gelato on top - phenomenal! We also got the Moroccan Scramble as the savory counterpart to the french toast. The moroccan-spiced minced-lamb combined with scrambled eggs and toasted chickpea was so flavorful and satisfying. After this meal, I don't believe I could ever pass through Savannah without making a trip to the Collins Q! P.S.: Please come to Philly!
