Joe and his crew laid asphalt on our driveway yesterday. The price was reasonable, the finished product is beautiful and smooth, and I enjoyed working with them. Joe went above and beyond to do a great job. For example, we needed large boulders moved to surround a parking area, and he took his time to make it function well and look better than expected. He also added asphalt to the entrance of another small access road to our property, making it much easier to use and at a reduced price since he already had the equipment here. He has his own equipment, which is good quality and well cared for, and he clearly cares about his business and his customers. I don't often write reviews, but this is the third driveway contractor we used this year and Joe is head and shoulders above the others. Not only did he do a great job, he was very kind to me and my small children who were ever-present during our conversations. His crew was hard-working and sweet, and they didn't leave a bit of trash, which is somewhat unusual among contractors. I would definitely recommend. read more

I just had a secondary drive (tar & chip) of approx 425ft long x 10ft wide put in which also included compacted road base. Joe and his crew did a fantastic job and only took 2 days! We recently used Stevens Paving to chip seal our 1/4 mile driveway. Joe was prompt to come out and give a quote (a great price), and was able to start the job next day. He said it would be completed that weekend, and it was. He leveled out our driveway, and was able to correct some areas that had been damaged by previous rainstorms. He also worked new slopes for better water run off. The workmanship is terrific and has definitely made a difference when it rains. They had all the equipment and man power they needed and the whole operation went smoothly and efficiently. They're equipment is first rate. He and his crew showed up on time (a little early)...with great equipment...and did excellent work. He was very careful to saw cut, excavate, and re-lay new pavement with a paver. He also thoroughly cleaned the remainder of my driveway and prepped it for a sand slurry seal, which was sprayed on uniformly. No nonsense...no delays...done expeditiously without wasting time. Joe and his crew did a great job of repaving our circular driveway. The condition of the old driveway was horrible with weeds growing through the cracks in the asphalt. I was very concerned with the weeds coming back, but Joe assured me he would take care of it, which he did. In the worst spots, he poured and rolled over it twice to make sure my concerns were addressed. The final product looks great!
