At time of need I have received some good work on my Klr at this location. Same day I made it back to Denver without any problems. Thanks.

This is what happened when renting these scooters. We were…read morein town for a family wedding at a friend's house on the outskirts of Santa Fe. Since we all didn't fit in one vehicle, we decided to rent the 2 scooters for the weekend. We picked these up on Friday mid day. Saturday was the day of the wedding and my partner rode one scooter to the wedding while I went with my sisters and the bride. After an hour when my partner was not at the wedding in time for pictures, we discovered that my partner's scooter had broken down and stopped running while she was riding it to the wedding. Luckily she was able to eventually get a hold of one of the other guests (we were all taking pictures) to have someone come rescue her. It was a terrible occurrence for our family (where we had traveled from all over the country), not to have my partner there to celebrate. She finally made it after the ceremony had started. She parked the scooter and called you guys to pick it up. Since we were occupied with the wedding and reception the remainder of Saturday, we did not use our one remaining scooter until Sunday morning, when we were going to meet all the family for a final brunch before taking off to the airport. The remainder of the family went ahead while I cleaned the house for the bride and groom's return home from their wedding night. I went to leave our rented Casitas and sure enough, I couldn't get the second scooter to start. Being that we were in a remote area above Canyon Rd, I could not get cell coverage and had to walk 45 min. to get coverage and have my partner come rescue me. Unfortunately, this meant we missed the brunch and saying goodbye to our family in time so we could get to the airport. I am so unhappy that I took the chance and trusted this company with these awful scooters. While the staff refunded me only half my rental for the weekend ($150 refunded off of original $300), the greatest disappointment was missing these once in a lifetime moments with my family. I am so utterly dissatisfied with the service and the fact we were not even refunded the full amount of the rental for the inconvenience

Buyers are going to pay NM excise tax on the purchase price of the vehicle and registration fees no matter where they buy a vehicle BUT at Moto Authority buyers get gouged with an excessive document fee for Moto Authority making the trip to MVD. Moto Authority gets a commission for selling your bike and on top of that they gouge the buyer with an excessive document fee for their time. They should be satisfied with the commission on the sale of a bike they have no money invested in. They do provide floor space to display the bike and their overhead and operating costs are real BUT the sales commission should cover the trip to MVD. Moto Authority says that "For Over 17 Years: New Mexico's Preferred Choice for Motorcycles..." BUT that reputation was built by the old owner. The new owner(s) acts like a car dealer with inflated after the sale fees. When you want to sell your bike the smart move is to spend $5 and advertise your bike on Craigslist. The buyer will pay you directly and you won't pay commission to anyone. Then the buyer goes to MVD to pay the tax and registration fees without paying a document fee. That's MORE money in YOUR pocket and more money in the buyer's pocket. 10/11/25 EDIT to the owner: Your "document fees" are excessive and that is a FACT. If your consignment customers don't list their bikes on Craigslist and keep more money in theirs and the buyers pockets then they deserve what they get at Moto Authority. Your "pride" in your document fees won't get you what you think. I supported Moto Authority in the past and always got a fair deal from Steve but I wouldn't buy a quart of oil from you.

In addition to the 2 I've purchased from R&S, I also have my "war pig" 2021 Yamaha FJR1300ES. The service department keeps my fundamentals in order, and does all the work I don't have tools to do.
