They found 3 other issues and told me after questioning the seriousness of the issues that some can be held off like needing to be replaced over tear down put still workable considering I don't go to the country and it can wait until the next oil change considering it's not too far away. The air filter and coolent fluid needs to be topped off those do need to be done before the next month and with the explanation for why that my mileage can be messed up and my AC will be inactive with the summer heat I don't want that. The staff were considerate over my budget and told me where to go to get the coolent filled and make sure it doesn't over fill. I will go back and recommend anyone to go to them.

Down there to pick it up and had the same problem before they touched it. Didn't have brakes. So I told him he just looked at me and I said OK. I was lucky to get my car back. to drive home break. Even though it was a hazard, they really care about their customer safety. Still no brakes. Just bought the car a week before I took it in. I'm driving back home they failed to put all of my bolts back on my metal skid plate 4 bolts missing there are 6 altogether . So it's flapping and dangling . After leaving there shop I had to pull over on the highway just to turn back around and drive back to Christian Brothers. My skid plate could have caught on something and ripped the plastic off on the bottom of my vehicle or could have lodged up underneath potentially damaging expensive components like the oil pan, transmission, transmission pan. They had to go and look around to try and find MY SKID PLATE BOLTS! Incompetence...

I called about 5 hours later to check the status and was told oil change had been completed and waiting to check brakes. A few minutes later I was contacted that my car was ready with no problems found. He explained that there was over 60% of the pads left in the front and 80% on the rear. That would be fantastic news if the brakes didn't grind! They test drove and couldn't duplicate the problem. The problem did continue for me driving home. I appreciate they didn't want to do work that wasn't necessary, but service advisor did not care to listen to what I thought might possibly cause the noise. I explained my car had previously been in an accident and had front suspension parts replaced. I suggested it might possibly be a loose pad or calipers loose or hanging up but he blew it off as a sensor. I didn't get the feeling that my problem was worth looking at beyond checking the pads for thickness and diagnosis fee. I basically was charged 204.00 for an oil change including their 3.5% credit card use included. After using my debit card I noticed the fee so changed and wrote a check for 197.00. Maybe it's me, a little confusing thinking debit card is the same as cash (most places). They did however only refund 197.00 of the 204.00 charged. So we are back to 204.00 for an oil change (to be fair, I got my preferred oil) and to be told my brakes are great. I have had people recommend your shop to me in the past and decided to give your shop a try with my brakes issue, but will never recommend or be back. Enjoy your 7 bucks credit card fee you kept, it will give me enjoyment in telling everyone I can of my experience and waste of time and money using your business. Update: I did reach out to Doug, but after emailing back and forth I am unsure he understands my frustrations of getting my brake problem blown off. It was my understanding I was paying for a true evaluation of what is causing the grinding noise. What I received is a free tire store look at the remaining brake pads. My option is they just don't care to do anything beyond the quick and easy $$, or care to listen to their customers. I never plan to return, trust is gone.
