Snap, Crackle, Pop! Fantabulous Roll! Spicy Thai Chicken Bowl!
    Gregory F.

I think this place was solid - and similar to Lucky AF, has some really creative rolls to try. That said, it was a bit pricier than I would have liked - luckily we had a gift card to make it a bit more accessible. The Snap Crackle Pop roll was super unique and we loved it - Fantabulous Roll had a nice hearty serving of fish with each bite, and how delicious it was to have a combo fish and crab meat roll since I typically feel pressured to choose one or the other. The noodles were a perfect dish to round it all out and make it all that much more filling of a takeout dinner for the two of us - although be warned - they pack a PUNCH!

The place is such a cozy ambiance, it's a great place for a date or hangout on gloomy day. The service was really great, Tyler was the only one taking care of multiple tables but he did a wonderful job and making sure we got everything we wanted and needed. As far as the food, Sticky Rice used to be one of my top favorite places a few years back but when I went this time, I was very disappointed with everything except the Sticky balls. The beef and chicken were dry and I would have preferred Panda Express tbh. I'm hoping it's a one time thing especially because it was right after Richmond city boil water advisory was lifted. All in all they do a good job to create a good atmosphere and have fun events on certain evenings like karaoke!

If you ever are in richmond and want sushi this is the spot to go! i love going to sticky rice and trying something new! the most recent time i got a philadelphia roll and the millennium roll, while my partner got the spicy tuna roll. the ever was really sweet and was pretty quick with everything but it wasn't super packed! the inside of the place reminds me of my trip to japan and is like bringing japan to richmond in the cutest way possible.

Good place to stop with plenty to choose from !! They had quite a few vegetarian options and they were really good ! I loved the tofu bites and the sushi I got (I couldn't remember the name). Def wish they had sweet tea though ): The waitress was really sweet and checked up on us quite a few times ! The vibes were very bubbly and chatty there it's a nice vibe.

Dirty Vegan Bowl, Veganzilla Roll, & Kappa Maki
    Paula M.

Calling all vegans! My partner and I finally visited Sticky Rice after trying their food at the Veggie Fest and it was SO GOOD - the menu offered a vegan bowl and plenty of vegan sushi rolls, so we got a mix of the Dirty Vegan bowl, Veganzilla Roll, and Kappa Maki roll. It was absolutely delicious, all flavor profiles were amazing. Until now, we've been making our own vegan sushi rolls and bowls since we couldn't find a restaurant that beat our own cooking... but now we've been happily outperformed :) The ambience was also very fun - it's pretty crowded on a Saturday night and some of the tables are packed in tightly together, but lighting and vibe was great. Our waiter was also awesome - super nice and they even grabbed me some pickled ginger for our rolls. We had a great time and definitely recommend!

Curry Fried Rice Bowl La La Yu Yu Tuna

The food exceeded my expectations, despite my initial hesitation to visit. Since they're open late, I had limited options on a Thursday night, but I'm glad I took the chance. The service was friendly and accommodating, allowing me to choose my own seat. The ambiance was pleasant, with music videos playing on the projector. While the volume might not be ideal for everyone, I personally enjoyed the lively RVA atmosphere.

I went here just a couple of weeks ago, with a friend after getting tattoos. Oh my lord when we walked in we both knew that the food was going to be good. We both ordered drinks, and obviously some sushi. I took a picture of mine and I forgot what it was called there was a name for it...all I remember is that I wished we lived closer. I would definitely recommend this beautiful establishment.

Great spot! It's tiny and there's a wait sometimes but we were able to be seated right away. Our food was delicious. The tuna bites appetizer was our favorite. It's very casual and they have Bingo and Kareoke nights too. Our server was very attentive and we will definitely be recommending this spot to other people.

The food is always excellent, and they have a variety of options from sushi to bowls to sandwiches. They also offer a delicious bucket of tater tots that comes with a spicy mayo-based dipping sauce. The restaurant can feel a bit crowded at times, since there is limited space. It is conveniently located on Main Street between VCU and Carytown.

    General Tso
    Brittney G.

Sticky rice has always been hit or miss. I love the tater tots with the sauce and the sticky rice those two items never disappoint. I usually myself of friends order the general tso, curry fried chicken or sushi. The service has always been friendly but the experience between wait time or getting part of an order wrong is fairly common here. It's fairly inexpensive meal and you can usually find street parking nearby.

Heard good things and was not disappointed. This fun sushi joint offers sushi, sandwiches, fried goodies... lots of clearly labeled vegan options. Interior is dimly lit w hipster vibe. Several TVs and alt rock we're playing tonight. The place was hopping, but we were seated right away in a charming window corner. Our waitress, Megan, was attentive, so friendly and mos def knows her way around the Sticky Rice menu. We got the fried tempura platter to share, my husband got a beyond burger and I got the dirty vegan bowl. Everything was delicious although the dirty vegan was wayyy spicer than I expected. I'm so glad we checked this place out and excited to come again soon. YES: Vegan friendly YES: Kid friendly

Not your typical sushi - so keep that in mind. But I'd almost give it 5 stars for the Garden Balls alone! Plus - the steak was a BEAST!
