My apologies for my delay in this review. Bottom line - Stiles saved our day & many others day too. Because of their compassion & efficiency- they minimized the trauma. How can I thank them except share exactly what happened and How I believe they helped??!! Sudden Passings are the hardest- It's my work to help others with this - Daily. I am so grateful because I need support too, sometimes. Our Beloved Friesian Mare Isabeau passed suddenly in her stall ( at home ) of a large colon rupture after 3 major colic incidents in May, July & late Aug/Sept. She had 3 vet interventions & 2 lengthy hospital stays & 2 emergency transports . She was almost 14y and we raised her from birth. She was the smartest, most kind & careful mare. She was a Dressage Talent. She had many years of "dancing horse training". She was a best friend to so many horses, dogs, cats, llamas, donkeys, pigs, turtles & lizards at our home & neighborhood. She was a Matriarch Mare that always focused on family & food. She was back home doing really well eating 4-5x a day and regaining weight. She was on a special diet and meds like clockwork. We fed her 4-6x a day and she was a happy - no pain - no stress case at this point. I believe we got 4-6mo extra time with her Like everyday was borrowed. I thanked everyone & said this. I believe that God-Universe is Merciful. Whatever your religion I believe we are all children of the Creator. These designs are not random or ooops. I believe she had the best life in her body For as long as possible. Because it had rained 2-3 days sprinkling The public trails were closed and no one else was traumatized that we know of. Stiles helped a really awful situation heal faster. They are amazing people. read more

I couldn't check the website to see what these people are promising or saying they will do with your deceased animals because when I clicked it on yelp some go daddy b.s popped up indicating they don't have one. Either way it doesn't matter. How they conduct business can't possibly be legal. The stench of piled up dead animals can't be healthy for the hundreds to thousands of people who work around the 15 to 20 mile radius of this facility. I'll be calling the city now that I finally found this shit hole place and look into what they are doing is legal or not. I'm surprised that this has been going on for years that I can vouch for and still continuous. If someone dumped a body off the fwy or near by bushes no one would ever know because of the stench of dead reeking from this place(yes it's that bad). Giving them the middle finger for making everyone around them so miserable. read more

Prompt, helpful, sensitive- a difficult business for difficult times, but they do it well

They asked for my address and phone number (not even my name or my horse's name) and said I had to pay cash. Showed up, dropped the back gate of the truck to reveal two cows in full rigor, that alone doesn't personally bother me but thinking of my beloved horse being drug up and dropped on top of them did. Didn't get a receipt or anything from them. The driver asked if I wanted to cut his forelock off but I wasn't asked if I wanted cremation or any other services either. Gulley's was very kind and compassionate, didn't load my horse in front of me and sent a condolence card to me after, highly recommend them if you're in need of this service. read more

Steve was so kind, compassionate, and understanding during one of the most difficult times anyone may have to endure. The sudden death of a family pet is, a difficult time for any family to handle. If you happen to lose that pet on the weekend, during the Covid-19 epidemic, combined with the Floyd BLM Protest, riot's, looting and curfews and "Everything Is Closed" you find yourself in an impossible situation. There are no City, County, or State animal services of any kind for the death of an animal. We tried calling everything we could think of at the time. We finally spoke to a live person with animal control. She could only suggest we cover her up and put her outside. Mom begged the staff person for compassion. She said she understood it was a terrible situation. She explained sometimes this company will provide services for pets, they are a private company and usually only handle the larger farm animals on the weekends. She took compassion on us and provided us with the contact information for Stiles Animal Removal. This is not just any pet. Candy is her name, she is a service animal to a 15 year old autistic boy. Candy is his very best friend in the whole world. Candy died right in front of him. We called Stiles Animal Removal Saturday morning. Steve understood the gravity of the situation and redirected his employee to traveled more than 60 miles through all the problematic issues to come right away to pick up Candy. Lets face it this is not a pretty place, if you have to call them it is not a good day. That said they show up on the day they say they are coming. They provide a service that very few do, but is really needed. I wish was prettier but at the end of the day it is a sad business. They make the best of it. read more

A few days ago my beloved mare passed away at about 6:30 in the morning. At 7:35 am I placed a call to Stiles to have her picked up . The lady that answered the phone was very nice . I told her that I needed their services and that the truck needed to pass under my 9ft high carport to get to where my mare was at and asked if their truck would be able to clear that height . The lady told me that that she would send a smaller truck as soon as the men came in from picking up at the ranches and that they usually get their about 8:30 am . I asked what the fee would be ( it depends on how far away you are ; understandably ) and how to pay (cash only ,again understandably ) as it has been some years since I have had to use their services. At about 9am a man , very clean looking , in a clean, newer , heavy duty pick-up truck came . He was very nice , backed -in to as near as possible to where my mare was laying and proceeded to load her into the back of the truck . A note here : if it bothers you to see your animal loaded onto the back of a truck : it's best to look away while it is being done. As for myself , I look at it this way : the essence / or spirit , if you will , that was my mare is now living on in a better place ageless , young and vibrant . I can't say enough about how nice this family owned company is . They do a not so nice , very needed service ,very well . And to those of you that complain , GET A LIFE !! The owner is absolutely wonderful and put our minds at ease with his kindness. Our bulldog Daisy had passed away overnight and we discovered her on a hot Sunday morning. We had an awful time finding someone to come out on a Sunday, but Stiles came to the rescue. A few days later her ashes came home in a beautiful wood box, with a nice poem, and a plaster paw print ornament. Thank you very much for your kindness at an awful time! read more

My husband is a truck driver, he made a delivery here and was so over come by the stench of rotting carcasses it was horrible. When he told me there were dead animals laying all over, I was thinking he was just being dramatic. Until he sent me pictures of dead horses everywhere. Along with other animals. I called this company at 10 am to remove a sheep in my yard and a driver didn't get here until 3 PM. I made multiple calls. My local animal control does not pick up sheep. read more

This is the third time in the past 4 years that I have used Stiles animal removal services. Each time was to remove a beloved horse which had been euthanized due to illness and old age. Each time the driver arrived promptly, was respectful of the deceased animal and professional in the removal process.
