The staff at Hardwick told us that under no circumstance was the truck moving as they were going to stay open to public. I know for a fact that upset my brother's bride to be and would probably upset other brides or wedding goers as well. So please keep that in mind!

Our picnic was complemented with excellent choices in hard cider and wine. My personal favorite is the Cayuga white wine, I even grabbed a couple extra bottles for our RV trip back to Utah. This will definitely be one of the places I visit every summer when I get back to New England.

La Cantina winery in Franklin, MA used to be a small wine bar that offered wine tasting flights and minimal food. BUT, now it is in a stunning new location (not far from their old stomping grounds). Fun Fact: It used to be a Mechanic garage. Well, wait until you see how it has turned from fixing cars to wine making and tasting. YOU HAVE GOT TO COME HERE! Parking is easy with plenty of spots. They have a lot of room at their gorgeous bar, but they also have high tops and tables for families or a large group. And, they host events here too; birthday parties, bridal showers, and anything in between, this place is it. Thankfully Alna had a similar palate to that of my girlfriend, and they quickly made a connection. Love that! I chose a flight of reds and ultimately preferred the Clone 8 above those that I tried, thigh the Cab Sav Reserve was a close second. The Drunken Goat cheese sample was delicious too! Pizzas are made to order and take at least 25-40 mins if there is a good crowd there). Bring your own blanket, totes chairs, and even cooler full of food if you wish, but order your wine at the register inside.
