I hope to shed some light with this review. I'm nearing the end of my stay here, and I have enjoyed every minute. Then again, I'm not very hard to please. So far the on site restaurants have been nice. The room, which is a 2 queen beds room, is spacious enough for my family of 4. We are very close to most attractions, with the furthest ones being 20 minutes away. There is only one pool and the hot tub open, but honestly, that's enough for us. The game room had a decent selection of coin-operated games and a pool table. There's basketball and volleyball. The laundry exchange is a bit unusual, where you take the old towels to exchange them, but not very inconvenient. One can comfortably walk to all the buildings on the resort site. We're please and can't really understand where the bad reviews spawn from. I'm not sure if there's new management or what, but our time has been good here. read more

Was SHOCKED to see this resort! Nothing like the ADS! 1st, we got there in the evening. Were told "you are lucky". You are in one of the nicer rooms with a screened in porch! As we search and search for our room, carrying luggage for 2 adults and 2 kids, while sweating our asses off...they told us the WRONG BUILDING! Back in the car we go. Find our building. Only to find out it is not one of the "nicer rooms"! And was tiny and outdated. The grounds were kind of junky, rooms had no sheets for the pull or couch! We were then given an extra marina credit of 100.00, after complaining. It came with 1 marina credit of 100.00. So now we have 200.00. Go to use 100, on jet ski rental, and booked a boat for following day. Guess what you can only use 50.00 PER RENTAL! Who the fuck is going to use 4 marina RENTALS in ONE WEEKEND! MISREPRESENTATION! The beach area pictured in the ad,is really nothing but a rocky mess! The only redeeming quality would be the pools, which kept the kids happy. But for 400.00 + tax per day. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and was clean on our arrival. The room is basic but functional. There is no cleaning service during the stay (as advertised) and this ended up being frustrating as we took out the trash, exchanged towels and linens, and cleaned our own room each day. The refrigerator door would not close so our food was not properly cooled - this was addressed quickly. Though the property has three pools they are all quite small. All three were overly crowded every time we tried them. The pool water isn't heated and was uncomfortably cold (perhaps since there were some unseasonably cool days prior to our arrival). The water in the hot tubs was lukewarm and never hot. The lack of pool/lake towels (as advertised) was also frustrating over the stay as we are accustomed to having towels available at a resort. The WiFi was very slow and unreliable - we were unable to address a couple of work issues that arose during our stay. Check in at 5 and check out at 10 is really inconvenient and exceptions are only allowed for guests that attend a 2 hour high pressure sales pitch. Overall, the resort did not represent the level of quality we had hoped for and expected for the price. We will not return. read more

No free water or ice anywhere on resort property-not good. No towels at the pools. We did not know we needed to bring our own beach towels from home. Shady taco food truck food not good. This review is for the more mature (40+) folks looking for the following getaway - quiet, peaceful, romantic... The short form review - DO NOT come here unless it's the EXTREME off season! Read on for brutal honesty if you'd like to know more. :-) The good - rooms are set up condo style, so you've got a pretty spacious living room, small kitchenette, and a balcony out back with a very beautiful view of the lake. Our room had a gas fireplace (more on that below). The property at the Stillwater seems well manicured, lots of green grass, has a couple pools, and parking is plentiful. The resort is well out away from the madness of the Branson strip, and getting to and from is a no-traffic snap as long as you time it to not be going the same way as Silver Dollar City traffic when they're opening or closing. The bad - first, noise! I'd say the walls are paper thin, but they'd have to get several times thicker to make it up to paper thin. If you've got people in the rooms beside you, you'll be able to hear their conversations clearly when they're speaking in a normal tone of voice. If you have people in the room above you, it sounds like a herd of elephants when they're walking normally. Which brings me to... Second bad, crowds. We were unfortunate enough this trip to be in the same building as TWO BUSLOADS of high school students. At a resort. Which means they were running around the place losing their minds as teenagers do. We were woken up at 11pm one night when said buses came back and the girls got off the bus screaming like they were in a Friday The 13th movie for a good half hour. And if normal footfalls in the room above you sound like elephants, imagine what the midnight tackle football game up there was like. Can't blame teenagers for being teenagers (that's what they do jack!) but stuff like that is NOT why we come here. The ugly - place is starting to show it's age a bit. Went to the bathroom after the long drive to get to Stillwater and first flush - TA DA! Toilets broken! Staff came immediately to fix it. Shortly thereafter, tried to start the fireplace - fireplace is broken too. Called the front desk again, but they apparently never took care of the problem the entire length of our 3 day, 2 night stay because it never worked. How, I ask you intrepid reader, am I supposed to get my Billy Dee Williams on when the fireplace is a no-go? :-) All of this combined to make our quiet, relaxing, romantic resort getaway pretty much the opposite of everything we went down there for. Given the noise and the not up to snuff amenities, there are about four dozen hotels in Branson we could have stayed at instead to get what we ended up with here, and at a much lower nightly rate. We had a great getaway here the first time we came (it was November time frame - as I said above, extreme offseason) which made coming back a no brainer. The crowd and noise this trip taught us that timing is everything for a quiet getaway here. The amenities and managements apparent "oh well, sucks to be you" attitude about taking care of them now has us wondering if coming back is worth it. read more

Summary: This place is not luxury. For a high price, you will get a big unit that is okay but outdated and need of some repairs. The amenities are okay but for the most part also outdated with repairs needed. The homepage for this resort says: "Why stay at a hotel, when for the same or less price you can stay in a luxurious lakefront resort?" Let me give you the list of the reasons you should in fact stay at a hotel, cabin or perhaps a tent instead of this resort. They advertise and price this place as a higher end resort but it couldn't be further from the reality. Check in: The staff was quite rude. At first wouldn't let me check in because a member of our party wasn't with us, but eventually relented and acted like she was doing us a "favor." When room wasn't ready and I asked if there was a time estimate I was told "no. it's only guaranteed at 4." Turns out, it was ready 10 minutes later-- why not just tell me that? We had a room that had occupancy for 12 because our party of 6 was visiting family local to the area. To enable them to go to the pool I was told they must pay $30 per day for a wrist band (which turned out to be inaccurate). I think overall, the front desk person was just in a cranky mood. While we waited for the room, we used the restroom-- it was dirtier than any gas station we stopped at on our 10 hour drive to the resort-- enough said. Rooms: This is more like a 2 star lodge. The carpet is so worn that I didn't walk barefoot in the unit at all. Basic things that are provided are in need of repair. Pots with handles broken off, chipped plates and most dishes in the cupboard super dirty. The mattress felt so worn out-- thin and hard while at the same time lumpy. The sheets were all pilled from being overused and the pillows should have been replaced a looooong time ago. Everything just felt so worn out. On the second day, our washer stopped draining and spinning. For a party of 6, this is no small issue. We call the desk and they send someone up who proceeds to make a complete mess of the kitchen and leave it still broken. He did give us a great tip though that there's a coin operated laundry matt on site :( Facilities: The pools are okay. They are definitely designed for kids. We had 4 in our party so that was good for us. Our family who was visiting us and ranged from 17-65 didn't love it as much because the main pool, the Oasis, is really JUST for kids. The food options are just plain not good. They have a pizza place with a coffee bar that is okay. The prices were good and the pizza was fine. They also have a place called the shady taco. This is a run down stationary food truck parked under some trees. We stopped here the day we arrived and after being informed they were out of 3 items we were interested in and that they were unable to make a cheese quesadilla, we decided to pass and go for pizza and beer. Oops, pizza place doesn't sell beer so forget that part too! The bathrooms at the pools are as unsanitary as the one in the lobby, no need to elaborate further than to say-- bring shoes and hand sanitizer since they don't have ANY soap (or maybe just go up to your room). The pool doesn't provide any towels! Their policy is that you must use your room bath towels and are only allowed to get fresh ones between 8am-2pm. The arcade is in bad need of a refresh-- lots of really broken down, outdated machines that cost 50 cents for one play. The resort doesn't seem to clean the grills at all. The only way to cook on these things is to layer them up with foil or buy a brush to scrape the old burnt food off that's layered about 2 inches deep. Stillwaters advertises and charges for luxury. They are more like a 1 or 2 star lodge. read more

Sad, old, and dirty. This place has an excellent marketing department. Their adds, website, and billboards are very appealing. But don't be fooled and don't go to Still Waters Resort unless you like: full body tattoos (as many of your fellow guests do...), smoking all over the property, worn out furniture, stale, smelly condos, dirty carpet, and many offensive experiences too numerous to name. I guess $400 per night won't buy much anymore. Oh...and did I mention place is DIRTY! In my opinion avoid Branson all together... but if you must go, find another place to stay. read more

Great place to stay. The condo was great, enough room for the 8 of use. Despite several other buildings that were seemingly packed, the pools were never crowded. They have various activities for free including water bikes, peddle boats, putt putt. Also have boats and jet skis for rent. Various other themed activities available (like a bbq dinner) that costs money, but offered at discounts for members. Lots of grills located around the property to use as well. Not into the time share idea, but would visit again. read more

After having stayed here for a number of years I was approached about a promotional stay for four days and three nights if I attended a membership presentation that was good for a year. Before I left today, I placed a deposit down for a future stay. After getting home today I received a phone call indicating I didn't qualify for the promotional stay as I wasn't married or cohabitating with someone. This felt very insulting and discriminatory. When I inquired as to what the reasoning was for this I was only told it was a provision of the promotion but this wasn't indicated on the form that I signed. The form only asked that if a person was married, or cohabitating, the partner also had to attend the presentation. I was told by other businesses in the area that tourism was down 46% in Branson over last year. I would think establishments would try to accommodate customers loyal to them over the years but instead this one just lost one. read more

Harvest Festival We went to the Harvest Festival, we weren't guests so we paid $10. It advertised beer/wine/moonshine, hayrides & painting, among a couple other things. I saw nothing about a hayride, there was no alcohol being served, & the "painting" was some paint on a table with no pumpkins that hadn't already been painted. They shouldn't be charging full price when most of the stuff isn't even available. I'll also add it's nothing like it looks online, it's tiny & there are only gross Portopotti's. Save yourself & go to the pumpkin patch that's much cheaper & bigger. Just because this is Branson it's not a pass to rip people off. We live in Branson. read more

This place was Great!!! We got a 2 bedroom condo for 8 of us. The couch bed was pretty uncomfortable but for kids they didn't complain. Plenty of free(included( activities on the property and not overly crowded when we were there in mid August 2019! Kayaks, inner tubes, paddle boats and paddle boards. Nice area on the lake shallow for kids to swim. Take a blanket or chairs as there is no seating by the lake. Everything on the property is close in proximity, walking distance to all 3 pools, playground and lake but not so close that it's congested! Highly recommend this place for the price. read more

We've stayed at several different resorts on Tablerock. Still Waters is our favorite with a large group or with the family. There are lots of activities for the kids. Condos are very nice and modern. The only reason I can't give it a five star is because as many times as we've stayed they've never allowed a late check out. Sometimes 10am is a rough get out or pay by the hour. We enjoy our time at the resort because we stay on the water for most of our trips. If you plan to leave the resort beware of the traffic nightmare Silver Dollar City can cause entering or leaving. read more

Not at all what I expected- Stayed in a lake front one bedroom condo. Paying $200+ a night I had fairly high expectations. After researching online and getting a recommendation from a friend my husband and I decided to come here to celebrate and enjoy a weekend away from home. However, I was surprised when we arrived. The rooms were very outdated, bathrooms extremely small and the bedding was disgusting with pilly sheets. To make matters worse we were on the bottom floor on the corner of the complex so we had the pleasure of hearing every door shut, kid scream, and patron walk by. Not only that put the honor of having multiple people use our patio as a resting spot on there way down to the docks. Another thing I found off was the resorts procedures of checking out. You are required to clean your room. If they find it to be dirty your card will be charged a minimum of $250. This means you must vacuum, sweep, and take out the trash... All the things I don't want to do on a vacation. Over all our experience was poor. I would not recommend this resort for the price you are paying. If your looking for a relaxing getaway this is not the place for you. However, if your looking for a great place to take the kids this is the place for you! For everyone else- your better off staying at the Hilton. read more

We stayed at Stillwater again during Thanksgiving weekend and booked through Expedia because there were no rooms available. We booked a two bedroom with a king, two queens & a bed in the living room. The room was decent, had a few updates but as I was moving the pillow that night there was a wasp walking on my pillow, we killed it but I couldn't sleep just thinking about it. Also, we were on the 3rd floor and there were kids upstairs on the 4th floor running, jumping, banging and pulling chairs out and rolling on the floor for two days and nights so when we complained that night the girl that answered the phone said ok well the quiet hours are at 10 pm and we can let them know but I'm not sure if it will help. My daughter came down with a virus and was in bed the first two days and had to heat the banging upstairs all day and couldn't sleep. I called the next day and told them something needed to be done and they said ok we told the people and they didn't respond well. So we asked for the manager and she came in and we discussed it with her and she said she would let them know the complaint and if they didn't quiet down they might take some money off our room or add to theirs, that didn't happen but she said they were leaving on Sunday morning. We were happy but the banging still went on. There were no trash bags in our room or dish detergent or anything in the smallest amount this time. We have stayed here many times but for the price of 300-240 a night it's not worth the disruption and disturbances and the lack of management on property. read more

We tried to treat our grandkids to a family vacation. The stay at StillWaters was HORRIBLE. My adult grandchildren got bedbug bites. The carpet was filthy, and the dryer left burn marks on several items of clothing. One of the showers wouldn't drain as we stood in dirty water and showered. I called the staff and spoke to the manager after I cooled off and he was less than helpful. I wasn't looking for a refund, but just alerting them to clean up the room. He argued profusely with me that none of this was true. Sadly, it is ALL true. Stillwaters, stop worrying about growth of your resort. You can't handle the rooms you ha e now. We purchased a Groupon to try this place out. We loved it! It is perfect for families, anyone with small kids or older folks. The boat rental is well worth it! There are 3x pools, one with a water slide (Zume The Flume) and one with a waterfall. The hot tubs are very large! The room had a amazing view of Table Rock Lake. We loved the space of the room and the room was very nice & updated. There are free bicycles to ride, paddle boats, and Kayaks. It's really nice they have fishing poles to fish off the dock, you can even swim off the docks. I would highly recommend this place for families, young couples, toddlers, teenagers, or large family groups. We will be back! read more

There is so much to do here! It is all easily accessible as well. The rooms and very nice, as is the property. We wish we could have stayed a night or two more! Our room had a lakefront view and kitchen stocked with supplies for cooking and living. Everything was in good condition. I'd give this about 3 1/2 stars. At first, my husband and I were a little iffy about this place. We brought our newborn daughter, and I think this place is better if you have older kids (5-10 yr olds). It sucked they wouldn't let our visitors enjoy the pool or any other activity. Also, we stayed for 3 days and I could never find the mini-golf- it wasn't on the map they gave us! The rooms are very nice and clean. However, the walls are VERY thin and we could hear everything outside our room and smell our neighbor's food. We had AT&T and we had NO service at the resort at all. We had to wait until we got up Stillwater Trail back to the main road to even remotely get a little bit of service. The onsite market was really handy at night when we needed drinks or a quick snack. All in all- I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I might suggest it to others. read more

I got the "luxury" condominium with "lake view". The decor is simple and decent. The place wasn't very clean. I expected it to be cleaner due to the fact that sanitary practices should be high priority during this covid 19. For the price I paid I expected a cleaner bed. There was a lot of hair in the bed. I didn't feel comfortable enough to sleep under the sheets so I slept on the blanket. After a few hours I became real itchy. There were bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The bugs kept me from enjoying the jetted tub... something I was actually looking forward to. I guess I expected it to be better and actually get what I paid for. It is definitely not luxury. It's not really lake front view. All I saw is tall unkempt grass. At around $170 a night... I suggest going elsewhere. I've spent $80 on places cleaner than this. read more

Our refrigerator did not work land the fireplace did not work the tv in our bedroom did not work and there was trash left in the bedroom from previous guest and the railing on the patio was loose and this was on the 4th floor! Called office to complain they said they would send someone to take care of this and they never did. This is a time share sales company masking as a resort - high pressure sales pitch on attending a time share meeting as soon as you check in. They dangle large discounts on boat rentals and shows to get you to sign up - the sales pitch meeting is a 2 hour longs using every worn out sales psychology pitch they can think of - stuff straight out of a sit-com. We attended to simply get a discount on a boat rental - when w turned down their "one time unbeatable offer" so over $30,000 for a one week tie share the 'sales manager' was visibly upset and stormed off. The best part was the boat rental - DO NOT RENT A BOAT OR JET SKI AT THIS RESORT UNLESS YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED BOATER!!! We were at the resort in later March so the lake was still cold - 52 degrees - and they were renting jet skis!! We rented a pontoon boat - very nice boat - however no instructions on how to operate the boat, no depth finder on the boat and no map of the lake. Fortunately we are experienced boaters so did not think much about it - come to find that Table Rock Lake is 67 miles of lake with multiple coves - vary easy to get turned around and lost especially since there is no compass on the boat. (Used our IPhone Compass to navigate) On the way in we saw to woman riding a Jet Ski which they promptly flipped, we stopped to be sure they were OK - after a few minutes we realized they could not get back on the JetSki - we idled over and got them out of the water and on to the boat - turns out they just rent they Jet Ski from Stillwaters - these were two woman who had NEVER BEEN ON A JET SKI AND THE GENIUSES AT STILLWATERS SENT THEM OUT IN JEANS AND SOCKS IN 52 DEGREE WATER!!! They were a good mile from the resort and out of site of the dock - no way could hey have made it back. When we came back to the dock the first thing they asked is did we tie up the JET SKi!!! No concerns for the two woman who could have been in real trouble if we did not happen along. The condo was nice however once we turned down the sales pitch the whole attitude of the 'resort' changed. Bills itself as a family fun resort but you better know what you are doing when it comes to water sports because the staff certainly does not - make sure you have a cell phone if you rent a boat - very easy to get lost and they will not help get you back. Bottom line - TIME SHARE SALES OFFICE MASQUERADING AS A RESORT!!! read more

Sometimes the bad guys win. Our family has spent the last four Thanksgiving holidays at Stillwaters Resort. It seemed each year was getting better. They had added craft times, last year they were building a bowling alley and indoor swimming pool. This year was much different. The bowling alley and indoor pool did not even have walls up and ready. The crafting time was overcrowded. All of this would have been tolerable had it not been for our first night. We were awoken by the intentional slamming of doors and screaming in the room next to us. We tried to go back to sleep but it was clear this was not to be. After a few hours of this we looked out to see a woman pacing, smoking, and shouting into the room she was staying in. She overheard me say to my husband "people are trying to sleep". It was then she proceeded to become belligerent and threatening to us. We called the front desk but they were closed. We called the police. The police spent a great deal of time calming them down and handcuffing the grandmother, they took her back to the squad car and we were told by Stillwaters she was released. When we asked Stillwaters what they were going to do, they said they would speak with the family. We asked if they could evict them knowing it was likely not going to improve. The guest services manager, Justin Essary said they would speak to them. He gave us his business card with his cell phone number on it and said we could call him directly if we had issues the coming night. We asked for them to be moved and instead he offered to move our family. We felt this to be unfair as we were not the ones causing all the disruptions. Thanksgiving day is a bit of a blur as we did not sleep the night before. Stillwaters maintenance was in our condo most of the day replacing a TV that did not work, and fixing the shower that dripped all night long. We did not have water during our Thanksgiving meal as it had to be shut off so they could work. We were grateful to the maintenance team for working on Thanksgiving and kept offering them pie and turkey. They said they were not allowed to accept per the management's rules. That afternoon we tried to sneak in a nap. My daughter who was not feeling good came down from the room she was staying in complaining she could not sleep due to very loud music coming from next door. My husband went next door, the person that answered said "I have been telling them to turn the music down". My husband reiterated we have already had to call the cops and this is very disrespectful. The guy at the door said none of it mattered because they are friends with the owners of Stillwaters. We did not believe this to be true until we called the front desk and they had a lady from quality control and the manager Brice come speak to us. We again asked how the resort could allow these disorderly people to stay. They said they could not displace these two families with kids on Thanksgiving. They said the families were moving the teenagers to the other side of the room as a compromise, we let management know that we had not even seen any teenagers, these were all full grown enebriated adults that were causing the issues. It did not seem to matter that our two families were having their holiday spoiled. We then believed these disorderly neighbors must know someone, as any other hotel/resort where the cops had to be called and grandma handcuffed would have evicted the unruly guests. When we asked to speak to the owner that these unruly people knew, Brice said they have many owners so he did not know which one they were talking about. We did go look at another room they offered to move us to however when we thought about packing up our two families and moving it was overwhelming and seemed to be showing our kids that the bad guys win. We looked for other condo's to move to for the rest of our stay however everything was booked due to the holiday. It seems the best course of action is to take away our business and ensure we let others know how Stillwaters rewards unruly guests. read more

Stayed here from the 24th thru the 25th of Aug. The place is really for people who are going to be on the lake or going to Silver Dollar City, not for people wanting to do things in town. The room we stayed in was your standard room, the walls are really thin could hear everything going on in the room above us. We did get a good price for the stay, just wasn't what we thought, we believed it was closer to town. Also do not try to check out early or they will tell you that you'll be charged for the rest of your stay if they can't rebook your room. The guest service representative when we tried to check out early stated it was the guest's responsibility to read the registration that it stated it was on registration, but no one at check-in informed us of that rule or when over the registration with us. Look I work in the hotel industry and when some on checks in you are supposed to go over the registration with them to make sure they totally understand the policies and also ask the guest to read over the registration, no one did that with us. Yes, I should have read the registration being in the industry but my husband was taking care of everything, and it had been a long trip getting there, we were extremely tired but to charge someone for checking out early. Really though you can't check out early or you'll be charged. Also, the pools are really small, the boat dock was ok, the store the one time we tried to go was closed because they were staining the deck during the busiest part of the day lunchtime. There is no alcohol sold at the resort. They are building an indoor water park but I will never see it because I will never stay here again. Stayed in one of their condos for a week on our family vacation this past spring break. It location was great right on the lake I would wake up and look at the beautiful lake. The place is nice and quiet and the staff is extremely friendly. They have boat rental and paddle boats for rent. Their boat rental staff was really nice and really helpful. We took a boat out for 4 hours and it was about $230 after everything. They have a little store that has just about everything you could need or forgot and they are really nice. read more

Our family of 16 rented two three bedroom units. We had plenty of room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and were very large. Units were modern and very clean. Would suggest bringing your own frying pan if you plan on cooking. Only negative. Pools were great, marina offered everything, and the grounds were nice. Another marina a block away is nice when Stillwater is out of jet ski or boats and a little cheaper. We will be back! Everyone enjoyed our stay and the distance to the strip is perfect. read more

Took a 3 day weekend and stayed here at a friend's suggestion for our visit to Silver Dollar City. Great location in that respect!! Also a great location to get to various places with nice lake views off Indian Point. We enjoyed the amenities of our room in Building D (kitchenette, jacuzzi) and also liked having a very nice hot tub a short walk away (at the Oasis Pool). Will stay here again... however as some other reviewers mentioned you hear and smell everything going on with your neighbors (ours opted for grilled onions with their dinner one night). Also after a long day of coaster riding we chilled on the couch watching tv, but had to do so through very poor reception. read more

Our family has stayed at Stillwater's multiple times in the past 3 years, both in summer and winter. We absolutely love it and never want to go back home when the time is over. I'm a coffee lover, so the quiet morning walk to the coffee shop + an iced oasis is how I start my days there. There's also a taco truck, pizza place and pool bar. They have putt putt golf, 3 great pools and hot tubs- each at a different level- one mainly for relaxing (no slides), one with a slide and another with a zero entry, waterfall, big slide and the pool bar. There's free kayaks, water tricycles, paddle boards and boats + you can rent a boat or jet ski. Caution though because you will have to either get a MO boaters license, or get a temporary license from the check in area. Temp licenses are good for a week with a limit to one per lifetime. We absolutely love Stillwater's, but with that being said, can tell it's suffering from the sting of Covid, just like many other places. The coffee shop, taco truck and pool bar didn't have enough employees to be open at their normal hours in previous years, there were weeds and trash like I've never seen there before. Hate to see that in a place I love so much. But I have no doubt that they'll eventually recover and be back to normal. We will continue to go back as we understand the economy just isn't at its highest right now, and we have grace for that. Thanks for another great vacation, Stillwater's! read more

When we arrived everyone was very welcoming and friendly. My kids had an amazing weekend. We got a 2 bedroom standard room. Only the master has a TV. They do not provide any soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. They suckered us into resort credit of we do a time share "their membership". That was fine whatever. We ended up getting the golf cart and jet ski with it. When we did the "membership" review the guy was very rude towards me. Little does he know I am the main decision maker in the house. He said right away you're going to be a hard nut to crack. I said yes probably. My husband is in the military and hard for him to take leave. He job is under manned. So this is the 1st vacation he has taken with us in 3 years. My children and I go on vacation with out him a lot. He is ok with that. The guy made me feel like I chain my husband up in a basement and do not let him out lol After pushing me in a corner and not getting the point that we were not interested. I said I guess I am a hard nut to crack. He said no SOMEONE CRACKER YOU A LONG TIME AGO!! Are you kidding this what you say to someone who is spending a lot of money at your resort and trying to rope me into buying a time share. He went about it all wrong. I left pissed off and felt very disrespected. I never write reviews. But this guy has me so upset. Acted like a bad car salesman. Note to self if you want someone to drop a $7,000 down payment and $250 a month. Don't be such an ass hole. Be nicer toward females. You might think you run your household. But remember happy wife, happy life. He put such a bad taste in my month we probably will never return. Which is a shame. As a business owner myself. I would never let me employees treat my paying customers like that. read more

Very nice room. Clean except the window sill was full of dead bugs right next to the dining room table. Did the time share sales pitch and they say it's not going to be high pressure but the salesman acted personally offended when we said no. The lady at the towel exchange was very rude! Not sure what I did to get this response. Made me wait behind another family that was renting putt putt equipment even though I was next in line. Then told me to count what I needed and hand her 1 towel at a time. Acted like I should know this but is not mentioned anywhere. Not what you want to deal with while on vacation. Had the hot sandwich at the local on property restaurant and was very good. Nice people waiting on you there. read more

This place was not what I expected. The brochures and website make it sound fantastic. I mean it's nice and quiet and close to Silver Dollar City but the amenities are not the greatest. The pools closed early on a holiday weekend. You have to bring ur own towels to the not so convenant "laundry place" they are only open 8-2 like who is there that early while they are on vacation. Also they make u clean ur own room for the price you you should've have to clean ur own room while on vacation. Also bathrooms are small they are so so rooms unless you get a condo. (Which costs more). Also they Should have more lighting on the dark winding roads to get to their place. The should just be a hotel not so much of a "resort" not sure if I would return to here or not. read more

Loved it! Used a groupon and got this huge room with a fireplace and full kitchen with an amazing view. The pools are great and free kayak and paddle boats for the kids. Our room had a two minute walk so a good swimming area on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and the staff gave us a discount and were very friendly. read more
