Well first off I do not recommend this property for anyone at anytime. Unfortunately this property is old, run down and has thin walls . We booked online and asked for a studio, which is like a standard Hotel room, which had two full size beds. First off the AC Heating unit is one of those motel style units which is loud, when on. You can't set a constant fan, so at night you can wake up each time the unit turns on . Next is the oddity that they do not provide shampoo, or other sundried, so be aware... The walls are you thin, and if u have a room with an ajoining door to the other suite, you hear everything. The bathroom, don't look up, rust and ceiling tiles as your decor. Our room's carpet had stains and the carpet was really worn. Even with a brown rug, the stains were standing out. This first time visit will be our last. The only positive aspect of the property was the El Jefe taco truck, which served great street tacos .. $17 for 3 street tacos, salsa,, small side of rice , and beans.

It's a nice place. To me it was the proximity to downtown where all the places to visit is. We were there in June and the pool water was COLD! We got a lot of use out of the hot tub (which was huge). The folks were nice and accommodating. The water toys are a cool bonus, we took the bikes out. There are food trucks, arcade, marina, 3 pools and fireflies

Incredible views of the Ozarks!

I was extremely apprehensive about this resort after reading all of the scathing reviews, but I can confidently say: do not believe everything you read! We had the absolute best week at Still Waters Resort. Every employee was incredibly kind and helpful, the grounds were gorgeous, and my kids were entertained the entire time. The room we stayed in was updated, clean, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Absolutely zero complaints. The location was perfect. Right at the intersection of Branson West and Branson Downtown, this location was great to experience it all. There's so many great restaurants in Branson West that we spent most of our time there, but also were close to downtown for mini golf or the many shows available. All in all, I highly recommend this resort and can't wait to return!

We stayed here in November. At first, we were in a motel room. It was not good. Not good at all. Gross carpets and horrible smell. I almost cried. We upgraded for $200 and got a condo. The condo was fantastic! Beautiful view and clean. There doesn't seem to be much consistency at this resort. The pizza and thirsty's was fine! I feel like with some updating this place could be better. But from what I see in Branson, everything needs to be updated.

Bed bug

Bed Bugs!! I've come with my grandparents for years and all they offered was to comp the night we left due to the bed bugs, so generous. No effort to compensate for medical visit/medication or for the items that had to be thrown away! Terrible customer service and obviously terrible cleaning procedures

Deck view, but only if you are on the top floor of building H. Also ...wasps...

I will do my best to provide what I believe to be a thorough and fair review. Bottom line: Does not meet expectations, especially at this price point. I specifically chose this resort for the amenities and proximity to SDC as we normally prefer a VRBO. I knew in advance I was sacrificing some of our families preferences in accommodations for the pools and access to the lake. We booked a three bedroom condominium. This is the main issue. A three bedroom condo does not exist...what you get is a 2 bedroom suite with an an adjoining extra room, however the suite is set up in a loft style that makes it impossible for those in the loft to have privacy or go to sleep unless those downstairs sit in the dark with the TV off. If you have kids and you thought you could put them to bed and stay up another hour or so this is an issue. Overall the room is nice enough but its age is showing. Carpet is stained and musky smelling. Maintenance and upkeep is an issue. The big issue is the pools. The pictures online are very deceptive. The website states there are three pools with two slides and implies it is set up in a large water park style setup. Yes there are three pools but they are scattered across the "resort" and much much smaller than the pictures imply. There is also no Oasis pool bar...even though your exit survey asks you to rate it. I booked this almost exclusively for the pools and the rental community we stayed at last year had a much nicer pool with a full service bar and grill colocated at a slightly lower price point (and that was for a 4 bedroom rental home that was in immaculate condition). The marina is okay. They advertise paddle boats but what they have is large "aquacycles". Is it a big deal not really...but with smaller kids it doesnt really work. What was good? The Mexican food trailer, The onsite carry out pizza and the Tipsy's bar were excellent and decently priced. They are easy walking distance from most rooms but once again about a five minute round trip walk from the pool so it's untenable if you are trying to supervise children. They advertise some other food trailers but they are not part of the complex and not walking distance (~1/2 mile). There is also a small park with a playground, pavilion, sand volleyball and basketball court. It is well maintained and my kids really enjoyed it. The view from my deck was awesome, unfortunately there was a family of wasps that also seemed to enjoy the deck as well... Bottom line: there is nothing wrong with Stillwater but nothing really right either...it did not meet expectations and there are better options with lower price points.

They have awesome kids pools, but they were all closed for maintenance. There is however a fairly small but nice playground that our 2yr old grandson thoroughly enjoyed. The whole family got a kick out of the watching the ground hogs which are everywhere! We saw very little of the staff which seemed odd but not a problem, and they were very friendly. With the closest lake access being a couple minutes driving distance, and the closest beach being even further, the pool not working left us very little to do on site. If you do go to the beach, be aware that the entry line is insanely slow and chaotic. People yelling at each other and a police presence, After about 10 minutes in line, we along with several other vehicles left without ever getting in. Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to cut our trip short. We were staying with family and friends and had activities planned for another full day, all of which had to be canceled. This was especially frustrating and disappointing right before Christmas. A situation like this should be handled with urgency and care. I had to go to Walmart the first morning I was there to buy a 24" tv and set it up on the coffee table for the weekend. They claim that the sales meetings aren't pressured but in reality you are absolutely pressured to go to these meetings. I know they say there are some perks for doing it but then I just found out there aren't any perks at all. The water heater isn't even big enough to fill up the jacuzzi bathtub 1 time. Water turns cold before the level gets up to the jets. No elevator. I looked around the room for this sales meeting and there is no one under 50 years old. I just had spinal surgery 10 months ago. I checked in late around 11pm. I was stuck carrying a 52 lbs suitcase up and down the stairs because there is no elevator or even a stairs bypass path. I do believe that is an ADA violation. On previous trips to Branson (I come here regularly because I have family that live near by) I was put at The Falls which was very nice. This Worldmark property is a downgrade compared to The Falls even though I was told that this place is supposed to be better. It's not. And last... DO NOT let this place scam you into attending their sales meeting with the offer of a free week vacation. The offer is complete trash. 99% of the available locations have an upgrading fee. Out of curiosity I searched for a hotel in my area that was covered by the "free week vacation" offer. The upgrade fee was $1219.99 for specific 7 days the offer stated it was valid for. I then did a regular online search for the same place using the same days in the offer and found it was $861. Where is the free week vacation if it costs roughly $350 more to use the free week offer than just booking online directly?
